| 1 [2:67] | Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi inna Allaha ya/murukum an tathbahoobaqaratan qaloo atattakhithuna huzuwan qalaaAAoothu biAllahi an akoona mina aljahileena |  وإذ قال موسى لقومه إن الله يأمركم أن تذبحوا بقرة قالوا أتتخذنا هزوا قال أعوذ بالله أن أكون من الجاهلينوَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تَذْبَحُواْ بَقَرَةً قَالُواْ أَتَتَّخِذُنَا هُزُواً قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِاللّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| موسى - Musa| لقومه - to his people,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| يأمركم - commands you| أن - that| تذبحوا - you slaughter| بقرة - a cow."| قالوا - They said,| أتتخذنا - "Do you take us| هزوا - (in) ridicule."| قال - He said,| أعوذ - "I seek refuge| بالله - in Allah| أن - that| أكون - I be| من - among| الجاهلين - the ignorant."| | ||||||
| 2 [11:47] | Qala rabbi innee aAAoothu bikaan as-alaka ma laysa lee bihi AAilmun wa-illataghfir lee watarhamnee akun mina alkhasireena | قال رب إني أعوذ بك أن أسألك ما ليس لي به علم وإلا تغفر لي وترحمني أكن من الخاسرين قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَإِلاَّ تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُن مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "O my Lord!| إني - Indeed, I| أعوذ - seek refuge| بك - in You,| أن - that| أسألك - I (should) ask You| ما - what| ليس - not| لي - I have| به - of it| علم - knowledge.| وإلا - And unless| تغفر - You forgive| لي - me| وترحمني - and You have mercy on me,| أكن - I will be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers."| | ||||||
| 3 [19:18] | Qalat innee aAAoothu bialrrahmaniminka in kunta taqiyyan | قالت إني أعوذ بالرحمن منك إن كنت تقيا قَالَتْ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِالرَّحْمَنِ مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيًّا | |||||
