| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:67] | Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi inna Allaha ya/murukum an tathbahoobaqaratan qaloo atattakhithuna huzuwan qalaaAAoothu biAllahi an akoona mina aljahileena
|  وإذ قال موسى لقومه إن الله يأمركم أن تذبحوا بقرة قالوا أتتخذنا هزوا قال أعوذ بالله أن أكون من الجاهلين
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تَذْبَحُواْ بَقَرَةً قَالُواْ أَتَتَّخِذُنَا هُزُواً قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِاللّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ |
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| موسى - Musa| لقومه - to his people,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| يأمركم - commands you| أن - that| تذبحوا - you slaughter| بقرة - a cow."| قالوا - They said,| أتتخذنا - "Do you take us| هزوا - (in) ridicule."| قال - He said,| أعوذ - "I seek refuge| بالله - in Allah| أن - that| أكون - I be| من - among| الجاهلين - the ignorant."| |

| ሙሳም ለሕዝቦቹ፡- «አላህ ላምን እንድታርዱ ያዛችኋል» ባለ ጊዜ (አስታወሱ)፡፡«መሳለቂያ አድርገህ ትይዘናለህን?» አሉት፡፡ «ከተሳላቂዎች ከመኾን በአላህ እጠበቃለሁ» አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { و } اذكر { إذ قال موسى لقومه } وقد قُتل لهم قتيل لا يُدرى قاتله وسألوه أن يدعو الله أن يبينه لهم فدعاه { إن الله يأمركم أن تذبحوا بقرة قالوا أتتخذنا هزواً } مهزوءاً بنا حيث تجيبنا بمثل ذلك { قال أعوذ } أمتنع { بالله أن أكون من الجاهلين } المستهزئين . |
| Mi inna Musa i ugdud is: "Öebbi, s tidep, Iumeô awen d a ppezlum tafunast". Nnan: "day a tettihiv fella$"? Inna: "ad iyi Isseô Öebbi! Ur ppili$ seg at war tussna". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন মূসা (আঃ) স্বীয় সম্প্রদায়কে বললেনঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদের একটি গরু জবাই করতে বলেছেন। তারা বলল, তুমি কি আমাদের সাথে উপহাস করছ? মূসা (আঃ) বললেন, মূর্খদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হওয়া থেকে আমি আল্লাহর আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। |
| Literal | And when Moses said to his nation: "That God orders/commands you that you slaughter a cow." They said: "Do you take us mockingly ?" He said: "I seek protection by God that I be from the lowly/ignorant." |
| Yusuf Ali | And remember Moses said to his people: "Allah commands that ye sacrifice a heifer." They said: "Makest thou a laughing-stock of us?" He said: "Allah save me from being an ignorant (fool)!" |

| Abul Ala Maududi | پھر وہ واقعہ یاد کرو، جب موسیٰؑ نے اپنے قوم سے کہا کہ، اللہ تمہیں ایک گائے ذبح کرنے کا حکم دیتا ہے کہنے لگے کیا تم ہم سے مذاق کرتے ہو؟ موسیٰؑ نے کہا، میں اس سے خدا کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں کہ جاہلوں کی سی باتیں کروں |
