[2:68] | Qaloo odAAu lana rabbakayubayyin lana ma hiya qala innahu yaqooluinnaha baqaratun la faridun walabikrun AAawanun bayna thalika faifAAaloo matu/maroona
|  قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبين لنا ما هي قال إنه يقول إنها بقرة لا فارض ولا بكر عوان بين ذلك فافعلوا ما تؤمرون
قَالُواْ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِيَ قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لاَّ فَارِضٌ وَّلاَ بِكْرٌ عَوَانٌ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ فَافْعَلُواْ مَا تُؤْمَرُونَ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| ادع - "Pray| لنا - for us| ربك - (to) your Lord| يبين - to make clear| لنا - to us| ما - what| هي - it (is)."| قال - He said,| إنه - "Indeed, He| يقول - says,| إنها - "[Indeed] it| بقرة - (is) a cow| لا - not| فارض - old| ولا - and not| بكر - young,| عوان - middle aged| بين - between| ذلك - that,"| فافعلوا - so do| ما - what| تؤمرون - you are commanded."| |

| «ለኛ ጌታህን ጠይቅልን፤ እርሷ ምን እንደኾነች (ዕድሜዋን) ያብራራልን» አሉ፡፡ «እርሱ እርሷ ያላረጀች ጥጃም ያልኾነች በዚህ መካከል ልከኛ የኾነች ጊደር ናት ይላችኋል፤ የታዘዛችሁትንም ሥሩ» አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | فلما علموا أنه عزم { قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبيّن لنا ما هي } أي ما سنها { قال } موسى { إنه } أي الله { يقول إنها بقرة لا فارضٌ } مسنة { ولا بكرٌ } صغيرة { عوانٌ } نصف { بين ذلك } المذكور من السنين { فافعلوا ما تؤمرون } به من ذبحها . |
| Nnan: "nuj a$ ar Mass ik, ad a$ d Ibeggen anta p". Inna: "Neppa, s tidep, la Iqqaô: tafunast ur wessret, ur meééiyet, garasen. Xedmet i wen d ippumôen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলল, তুমি তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে আমাদের জন্য প্রার্থনা কর, যেন সেটির রূপ বিশ্লেষণ করা হয়। মূসা (আঃ) বললেন, তিনি বলছেন, সেটা হবে একটা গাভী, যা বৃদ্ধ নয় এবং কুমারীও নয়-বার্ধক্য ও যৌবনের মাঝামাঝি বয়সের। এখন আদিষ্ট কাজ করে ফেল। |
| Literal | They said: "Call for us your Lord He clarifies for us what it is." He (Moses) said: "That He says that it is a cow not (an) old aged animal , and nor first born/virgin , middle aged between that, so make/do what you are ordered/commanded." |
| Yusuf Ali | They said: "Beseech on our behalf Thy Lord to make plain to us what (heifer) it is!" He said; "He says: The heifer should be neither too old nor too young, but of middling age. Now do what ye are commanded!" |
