[2:69] | Qaloo odAAu lana rabbakayubayyin lana ma lawnuha qala innahuyaqoolu innaha baqaratun safrao faqiAAunlawnuha tasurru alnnathireena
|  قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبين لنا ما لونها قال إنه يقول إنها بقرة صفراء فاقع لونها تسر الناظرين
قَالُواْ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا لَوْنُهَا قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنََّهَا بَقَرَةٌ صَفْرَاءُ فَاقِـعٌ لَّوْنُهَا تَسُرُّ النَّاظِرِينَ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| ادع - "Pray| لنا - for us| ربك - (to) your Lord| يبين - to make clear| لنا - to us| ما - what| لونها - (is) its color."| قال - He said,| إنه - "Indeed, He| يقول - says,| إنها - '[Indeed] it is| بقرة - a cow| صفراء - yellow,| فاقع - bright| لونها - (in) its color,| تسر - pleasing| الناظرين - (to) those who see (it).'"| |

| «ለኛ ጌታህን ጠይቅልን፤ መልኳ ምን እንደኾነ ለኛ ይግለጽልን» አሉ፡፡ «እርሱ እርሷ መልኳ ደማቅ ተመልካቾችን የምታስደስት ዳለቻ ላም ናት ይላችኋል» አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبين لنا ما لونها قال إنه يقول إنها بقرة صفراء فاقع لونها } شديد الصفرة، { تسر الناظرين } إليها بحسنها أي تعجبهم . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলল, তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে আমাদের জন্য প্রার্থনা কর যে, তার রঙ কিরূপ হবে? মূসা (আঃ) বললেন, তিনি বলেছেন যে, গাঢ় পীতবর্ণের গাভী-যা দর্শকদের চমৎকৃত করবে। |
| Literal | They said: "Call for us your Lord, (to) clarify for us what its colour (is)." He said: "That He says, that it truly is a cow, yellowish , clear pure bright yellow its colour, it delights the lookers." |
