| 1 [2:167] | Waqala allatheena ittabaAAoolaw anna lana karratan fanatabarraa minhum kamatabarraoo minna kathalika yureehimu AllahuaAAmalahum hasaratin AAalayhim wamahum bikharijeena mina alnnari |  وقال الذين اتبعوا لو أن لنا كرة فنتبرأ منهم كما تبرءوا منا كذلك يريهم الله أعمالهم حسرات عليهم وما هم بخارجين من الناروَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّؤُواْ مِنَّا كَذَلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الذين - those who| اتبعوا - followed,| لو - "(Only) if| أن - [that]| لنا - for us| كرة - a return,| فنتبرأ - then we will disown| منهم - [from] them| كما - as| تبرءوا - they disown| منا - [from] us."| كذلك - Thus| يريهم - will show them| الله - Allah| أعمالهم - their deeds| حسرات - (as) regrets| عليهم - for them.| وما - And not| هم - they| بخارجين - will come out| من - from| النار - the Fire.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:217] | Yas-aloonaka AAani alshshahri alharamiqitalin feehi qul qitalun feehi kabeerun wasaddunAAan sabeeli Allahi wakufrun bihi waalmasjidi alharamiwa-ikhraju ahlihi minhu akbaru AAinda Allahi waalfitnatuakbaru mina alqatli wala yazaloona yuqatiloonakumhatta yaruddookum AAan deenikum ini istataAAoowaman yartadid minkum AAan deenihi fayamut wahuwa kafirunfaola-ika habitat aAAmaluhum fee alddunyawaal-akhirati waola-ika as-habualnnari hum feeha khalidoona | يسألونك عن الشهر الحرام قتال فيه قل قتال فيه كبير وصد عن سبيل الله وكفر به والمسجد الحرام وإخراج أهله منه أكبر عند الله والفتنة أكبر من القتل ولا يزالون يقاتلونكم حتى يردوكم عن دينكم إن استطاعوا ومن يرتدد منكم عن دينه فيمت وهو كافر فأولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِيهِ قُلْ قِتَالٌ فِيهِ كَبِيرٌ وَصَدٌّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَكُفْرٌ بِهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِخْرَاجُ أَهْلِهِ مِنْهُ أَكْبَرُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ وَلاَ يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُواْ وَمَن يَرْتَدِدْ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَيَمُتْ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| الشهر - the month| الحرام - [the] sacred -| قتال - (concerning) fighting| فيه - in it.| قل - Say,| قتال - "Fighting| فيه - therein| كبير - (is) a great (sin);| وصد - but hindering (people)| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| وكفر - and disbelief| به - in Him| والمسجد - and (preventing access to) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam,| وإخراج - and driving out| أهله - its people| منه - from it,| أكبر - (is) greater (sin)| عند - near| الله - Allah.| والفتنة - And [the] oppression| أكبر - (is) greater| من - than| القتل - [the] killing."| ولا - And not| يزالون - they will cease| يقاتلونكم - (to) fight with you| حتى - until| يردوكم - they turn you away| عن - from| دينكم - your religion,| إن - if| استطاعوا - they are able.| ومن - And whoever| يرتدد - turns away| منكم - among you| عن - from| دينه - his religion,| فيمت - then dies| وهو - while he| كافر - (is) a disbeliever| فأولئك - for those| حبطت - became worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and the Hereafter.| وأولئك - And those| أصحاب - (are) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - (will) abide forever.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:22] | Ola-ika allatheena habitataAAmaluhum fee alddunya waal-akhiratiwama lahum min nasireena | أولئك الذين حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وما لهم من ناصرين أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who -| حبطت - became worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وما - And not| لهم - (will be) for them| من - any| ناصرين - helpers.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:53] | Wayaqoolu allatheena amanoo ahaola-iallatheena aqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihiminnahum lamaAAakum habitat aAAmaluhum faasbahookhasireena | ويقول الذين آمنوا أهؤلاء الذين أقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم إنهم لمعكم حبطت أعمالهم فأصبحوا خاسرين وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَهَـؤُلاَءِ الَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُواْ بِاللّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ إِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُواْ خَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويقول - And will say| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe,| أهؤلاء - "Are these| الذين - those who| أقسموا - swore| بالله - by Allah| جهد - strongest,| أيمانهم - (of) their oaths,| إنهم - indeed, they| لمعكم - (were) with you?"| حبطت - Became worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds,| فأصبحوا - and they became| خاسرين - (the) losers.| | ||||||
| 5 [7:147] | Waallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina waliqa-i al-akhiratihabitat aAAmaluhum hal yujzawna illama kanoo yaAAmaloona | والذين كذبوا بآياتنا ولقاء الآخرة حبطت أعمالهم هل يجزون إلا ما كانوا يعملون وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَلِقَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلاَّ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs| ولقاء - and (the) meeting| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter -| حبطت - worthless| أعمالهم - (are) their deeds.| هل - Will| يجزون - they be recompensed| إلا - except| ما - (for) what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do?| | ||||||
| 6 [8:48] | Wa-ith zayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum waqala la ghaliba lakumualyawma mina alnnasi wa-innee jarun lakumfalamma taraati alfi-atani nakasaAAala AAaqibayhi waqala innee baree-on minkum inneeara ma la tarawna innee akhafu AllahawaAllahu shadeedu alAAiqabi | وإذ زين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم وقال لا غالب لكم اليوم من الناس وإني جار لكم فلما تراءت الفئتان نكص على عقبيه وقال إني بريء منكم إني أرى ما لا ترون إني أخاف الله والله شديد العقاب وَإِذْ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَقَالَ لاَ غَالِبَ لَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَإِنِّي جَارٌ لَّكُمْ فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَتِ الْفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّنكُمْ إِنِّي أَرَى مَا لاَ تَرَوْنَ إِنِّيَ أَخَافُ اللّهَ وَاللّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| زين - made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds| وقال - and he said,| لا - "No (one)| غالب - (can) overcome| لكم - [to] you| اليوم - today| من - from| الناس - the people| وإني - and indeed, I am| جار - a neighbor| لكم - for you."| فلما - But when| تراءت - came in sight| الفئتان - the two forces| نكص - he turned away| على - on| عقبيه - his heels| وقال - and said,| إني - "Indeed, I am| بريء - free| منكم - of you.| إني - Indeed, I| أرى - see| ما - what| لا - not| ترون - you see,| إني - indeed, I| أخاف - [I] fear| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) the penalty."| | ||||||
| 7 [9:17] | Ma kana lilmushrikeena anyaAAmuroo masajida Allahi shahideena AAalaanfusihim bialkufri ola-ika habitataAAmaluhum wafee alnnari hum khalidoona | ما كان للمشركين أن يعمروا مساجد الله شاهدين على أنفسهم بالكفر أولئك حبطت أعمالهم وفي النار هم خالدون مَا كَانَ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يَعْمُرُواْ مَسَاجِدَ الله شَاهِدِينَ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ بِالْكُفْرِ أُوْلَئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ وَفِي النَّارِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - (It) is not| كان - (It) is not| للمشركين - for the polytheists| أن - that| يعمروا - they maintain| مساجد - (the) masajid of Allah| الله - (the) masajid of Allah| شاهدين - (while) witnessing| على - against| أنفسهم - themselves| بالكفر - [with] disbelief.| أولئك - (For) those,| حبطت - worthless| أعمالهم - (are) their deeds,| وفي - and in| النار - the Fire| هم - they| خالدون - (will) abide forever.| | ||||||
| 8 [9:37] | Innama alnnasee-o ziyadatunfee alkufri yudallu bihi allatheena kafaroo yuhilloonahuAAaman wayuharrimoonahu AAaman liyuwati-ooAAiddata ma harrama Allahu fayuhillooma harrama Allahu zuyyina lahum soo-o aAAmalihimwaAllahu la yahdee alqawma alkafireena | إنما النسيء زيادة في الكفر يضل به الذين كفروا يحلونه عاما ويحرمونه عاما ليواطئوا عدة ما حرم الله فيحلوا ما حرم الله زين لهم سوء أعمالهم والله لا يهدي القوم الكافرين إِنَّمَا النَّسِيءُ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْكُفْرِ يُضَلُّ بِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُحِلِّونَهُ عَامًا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُ عَامًا لِّيُوَاطِؤُواْ عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّهُ فَيُحِلُّواْ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّهُ زُيِّنَ لَهُمْ سُوءُ أَعْمَالِهِمْ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Indeed,| النسيء - the postponing| زيادة - (is) an increase| في - in| الكفر - the disbelief,| يضل - are led astray| به - by it| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve.| يحلونه - They make it lawful| عاما - one year| ويحرمونه - and make it unlawful| عاما - (another) year,| ليواطئوا - to adjust| عدة - the number| ما - which| حرم - Allah has made unlawful| الله - Allah has made unlawful| فيحلوا - and making lawful| ما - what| حرم - Allah has made unlawful.| الله - Allah has made unlawful.| زين - Is made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| سوء - (the) evil| أعمالهم - (of) their deeds.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people -| الكافرين - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 9 [9:69] | Kaallatheena min qablikum kanooashadda minkum quwwatan waakthara amwalan waawladanfaistamtaAAoo bikhalaqihim faistamtaAAtumbikhalaqikum kama istamtaAAa allatheena minqablikum bikhalaqihim wakhudtum kaallatheekhadoo ola-ika habitat aAAmaluhumfee alddunya waal-akhirati waola-ikahumu alkhasiroona | كالذين من قبلكم كانوا أشد منكم قوة وأكثر أموالا وأولادا فاستمتعوا بخلاقهم فاستمتعتم بخلاقكم كما استمتع الذين من قبلكم بخلاقهم وخضتم كالذي خاضوا أولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وأولئك هم الخاسرون كَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُواْ أَشَدَّ مِنكُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرَ أَمْوَالاً وَأَوْلاَدًا فَاسْتَمْتَعُواْ بِخَلاَقِهِمْ فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِخَلاَقِكُمْ كَمَا اسْتَمْتَعَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ بِخَلاَقِهِمْ وَخُضْتُمْ كَالَّذِي خَاضُواْ أُوْلَـئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كالذين - Like those| من - before you| قبلكم - before you| كانوا - they were| أشد - mightier| منكم - than you| قوة - (in) strength,| وأكثر - and more abundant| أموالا - (in) wealth| وأولادا - and children.| فاستمتعوا - So they enjoyed| بخلاقهم - their portion,| فاستمتعتم - and you have enjoyed| بخلاقكم - your portion| كما - like| استمتع - enjoyed| الذين - those| من - before you| قبلكم - before you| بخلاقهم - their portion,| وخضتم - and you indulge| كالذي - like the one who| خاضوا - indulges (in idle talk).| أولئك - Those,| حبطت - worthless,| أعمالهم - (are) their deeds| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وأولئك - And those,| هم - they| الخاسرون - (are) the losers.| | ||||||
| 10 [11:15] | Man kana yureedu alhayataalddunya wazeenataha nuwaffi ilayhim aAAmalahumfeeha wahum feeha la yubkhasoona | من كان يريد الحياة الدنيا وزينتها نوف إليهم أعمالهم فيها وهم فيها لا يبخسون مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا نُوَفِّ إِلَيْهِمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فِيهَا وَهُمْ فِيهَا لاَ يُبْخَسُونَ | |||||
| Words | |من - Whoever [is]| كان - Whoever [is]| يريد - desires| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| وزينتها - and its adornments,| نوف - We will repay in full| إليهم - to them| أعمالهم - (for) their deeds| فيها - therein,| وهم - and they| فيها - in it| لا - will not be lessened.| يبخسون - will not be lessened.| | ||||||
| 11 [11:111] | Wa-inna kullan lammalayuwaffiyannahum rabbuka aAAmalahum innahu bimayaAAmaloona khabeerun | وإن كلا لما ليوفينهم ربك أعمالهم إنه بما يعملون خبير وَإِنَّ كُـلاًّ لَّمَّا لَيُوَفِّيَنَّهُمْ رَبُّكَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ إِنَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| كلا - to each [when]| لما - to each [when]| ليوفينهم - surely will pay them in full| ربك - your Lord| أعمالهم - their deeds.| إنه - Indeed, He| بما - of what| يعملون - they do| خبير - (is) All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 12 [14:18] | Mathalu allatheena kafaroo birabbihimaAAmaluhum karamadin ishtaddat bihi alrreehufee yawmin AAasifin la yaqdiroona mimmakasaboo AAala shay-in thalika huwa alddalalualbaAAeedu | مثل الذين كفروا بربهم أعمالهم كرماد اشتدت به الريح في يوم عاصف لا يقدرون مما كسبوا على شيء ذلك هو الضلال البعيد مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَرَمَادٍ اشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍ لاَّ يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُواْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلاَلُ الْبَعِيدُ | |||||
| Words | |مثل - (The) example| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieve| بربهم - in their Lord,| أعمالهم - their deeds| كرماد - (are) like ashes| اشتدت - blows furiously| به - on it| الريح - the wind| في - in| يوم - a day| عاصف - stormy.| لا - No| يقدرون - control (they have)| مما - of what| كسبوا - they have earned| على - on| شيء - anything.| ذلك - That,| هو - [it]| الضلال - (is) the straying| البعيد - far.| | ||||||
| 13 [16:63] | TaAllahi laqad arsalnaila omamin min qablika fazayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum fahuwa waliyyuhumu alyawma walahum AAathabunaleemun | تالله لقد أرسلنا إلى أمم من قبلك فزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فهو وليهم اليوم ولهم عذاب أليم تَاللّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَى أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |تالله - By Allah,| لقد - certainly| أرسلنا - We have sent| إلى - to| أمم - nations| من - before you| قبلك - before you| فزين - but made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds.| فهو - So he| وليهم - (is) their ally| اليوم - today,| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 14 [18:105] | Ola-ika allatheena kafaroobi-ayati rabbihim waliqa-ihi fahabitataAAmaluhum fala nuqeemu lahum yawma alqiyamatiwaznan | أولئك الذين كفروا بآيات ربهم ولقائه فحبطت أعمالهم فلا نقيم لهم يوم القيامة وزنا أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَلِقَائِهِ فَحَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَلاَ نُقِيمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَزْنًا | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who| كفروا - disbelieve| بآيات - in the Verses| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| ولقائه - and the meeting (with) Him.| فحبطت - So (are) vain| أعمالهم - their deeds,| فلا - so not| نقيم - We will assign| لهم - for them| يوم - (on) the Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| وزنا - any weight.| | ||||||
| 15 [24:39] | Waallatheena kafaroo aAAmaluhumkasarabin biqeeAAatin yahsabuhu alththam-anumaan hatta itha jaahu lamyajidhu shay-an wawajada Allaha AAindahu fawaffahu hisabahuwaAllahu sareeAAu alhisabi | والذين كفروا أعمالهم كسراب بقيعة يحسبه الظمآن ماء حتى إذا جاءه لم يجده شيئا ووجد الله عنده فوفاه حسابه والله سريع الحساب وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَرَابٍ بِقِيعَةٍ يَحْسَبُهُ الظَّمْآنُ مَاءً حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَهُ لَمْ يَجِدْهُ شَيْئًا وَوَجَدَ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ فَوَفَّاهُ حِسَابَهُ وَاللَّهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - But those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| أعمالهم - their deeds| كسراب - (are) like a mirage| بقيعة - in a lowland,| يحسبه - thinks it| الظمآن - the thirsty one| ماء - (to be) water,| حتى - until| إذا - when| جاءه - he comes to it,| لم - not| يجده - he finds it| شيئا - (to be) anything,| ووجد - but he finds| الله - Allah| عنده - before him,| فوفاه - He will pay him in full| حسابه - his due.| والله - And Allah| سريع - (is) swift| الحساب - (in) the account.| | ||||||
| 16 [27:4] | Inna allatheena la yu/minoonabial-akhirati zayyanna lahum aAAmalahumfahum yaAAmahoona | إن الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة زينا لهم أعمالهم فهم يعمهون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يؤمنون - believe| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter,| زينا - We have made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| أعمالهم - their deeds,| فهم - so they| يعمهون - wander blindly.| | ||||||
| 17 [27:24] | Wajadtuha waqawmaha yasjudoonalilshshamsi min dooni Allahi wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani alssabeeli fahumla yahtadoona | وجدتها وقومها يسجدون للشمس من دون الله وزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فصدهم عن السبيل فهم لا يهتدون وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وجدتها - And I found her| وقومها - and her people| يسجدون - prostrating| للشمس - to the sun| من - instead of Allah,| دون - instead of Allah,| الله - instead of Allah,| وزين - and has made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds,| فصدهم - and averted them| عن - from| السبيل - the Way,| فهم - so they| لا - (are) not| يهتدون - guided,| | ||||||
| 18 [29:38] | WaAAadan wathamooda waqad tabayyanalakum min masakinihim wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani alssabeeli wakanoomustabsireena | وعادا وثمود وقد تبين لكم من مساكنهم وزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فصدهم عن السبيل وكانوا مستبصرين وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَقَد تَّبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِّن مَّسَاكِنِهِمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وعادا - And Aad| وثمود - and Thamud,| وقد - and verily,| تبين - (has) become clear| لكم - to you| من - from| مساكنهم - their dwellings.| وزين - And made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds| فصدهم - and averted them| عن - from| السبيل - the Way,| وكانوا - though they were| مستبصرين - endowed with insight.| | ||||||
| 19 [33:19] | Ashihhatan AAalaykum fa-itha jaaalkhawfu raaytahum yanthuroona ilayka tadooruaAAyunuhum kaallathee yughsha AAalayhi minaalmawti fa-itha thahaba alkhawfu salaqookumbi-alsinatin hidadin ashihhatan AAalaalkhayri ola-ika lam yu/minoo faahbata AllahuaAAmalahum wakana thalika AAala Allahiyaseeran | أشحة عليكم فإذا جاء الخوف رأيتهم ينظرون إليك تدور أعينهم كالذي يغشى عليه من الموت فإذا ذهب الخوف سلقوكم بألسنة حداد أشحة على الخير أولئك لم يؤمنوا فأحبط الله أعمالهم وكان ذلك على الله يسيرا أَشِحَّةً عَلَيْكُمْ فَإِذَا جَاءَ الْخَوْفُ رَأَيْتَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ كَالَّذِي يُغْشَى عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ الْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُم بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى الْخَيْرِ أُوْلَئِكَ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَأَحْبَطَ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |أشحة - Miserly| عليكم - towards you.| فإذا - But when| جاء - comes| الخوف - the fear,| رأيتهم - you see them| ينظرون - looking| إليك - at you,| تدور - revolving| أعينهم - their eyes| كالذي - like one who| يغشى - faints| عليه - faints| من - from| الموت - [the] death.| فإذا - But when| ذهب - departs| الخوف - the fear,| سلقوكم - they smite you| بألسنة - with tongues| حداد - sharp| أشحة - miserly| على - towards| الخير - the good.| أولئك - Those -| لم - not| يؤمنوا - they have believed,| فأحبط - so Allah made worthless| الله - so Allah made worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds.| وكان - And is| ذلك - that| على - for| الله - Allah| يسيرا - easy.| | ||||||
| 20 [46:19] | Walikullin darajatun mimmaAAamiloo waliyuwaffiyahum aAAmalahum wahum la yuthlamoona | ولكل درجات مما عملوا وليوفيهم أعمالهم وهم لا يظلمون وَلِكُلٍّ دَرَجَاتٌ مِّمَّا عَمِلُوا وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكل - And for all| درجات - (are) degrees| مما - for what| عملوا - they did,| وليوفيهم - and that He may fully compensate them| أعمالهم - (for) their deeds,| وهم - and they| لا - will not be wronged.| يظلمون - will not be wronged.| | ||||||
