[4:139] | Allatheena yattakhithoona alkafireenaawliyaa min dooni almu/mineena ayabtaghoona AAindahumualAAizzata fa-inna alAAizzata lillahi jameeAAan
|  الذين يتخذون الكافرين أولياء من دون المؤمنين أيبتغون عندهم العزة فإن العزة لله جميعا
الَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ العِزَّةَ لِلّهِ جَمِيعًا |
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يتخذون - take| الكافرين - the disbelievers| أولياء - (as) allies| من - (from)| دون - instead of| المؤمنين - the believers.| أيبتغون - Do they seek| عندهم - with them| العزة - the honor?| فإن - But indeed,| العزة - the honor| لله - (is) for Allah,| جميعا - all.| |

| እነዚያ ከምእምናን ሌላ ከሓዲዎችን ወዳጆች አድርገው የሚይዙ እነሱ ዘንድ ልቅናን ይፈልጋሉን ልቅናውም ሁሉ ለአላህ ብቻ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { الذين } بدل أو نعت للمنافقين { يتخذون الكافرين أولياء من دون المؤمنين } لما يتوهمون فيهم من القوة { أيبتغون } يطلبون { عندهم العزة } استفهام إنكار أي لا يجدونها عندهم { فإن العزة لله جميعا } في الدنيا والآخرة ولا ينالها إلا أولياؤه . |
| Wid ipparan ijehliyen d iêbiben, war lmumnin, day ssarmen $uôsen tazmert? Tazmert, s tidep, ar Öebbi yakw. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যারা মুসলমানদের বর্জন করে কাফেরদেরকে নিজেদের বন্ধু বানিয়ে নেয় এবং তাদেরই কাছে সম্মান প্রত্যাশা করে, অথচ যাবতীয় সম্মান শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহরই জন্য। |
| Literal | Those who take the disbelievers (as) allies from other than the believers, do they wish/desire at them the glory/dignity , so that the glory/dignity (is) all to God. |
| Yusuf Ali | Yea, to those who take for friends unbelievers rather than believers: is it honour they seek among them? Nay,- all honour is with Allah. |
