بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [27:81] | Wama anta bihadee alAAumyiAAan dalalatihim in tusmiAAu illa manyu/minu bi-ayatina fahum muslimoona
| وما أنت بهادي العمي عن ضلالتهم إن تسمع إلا من يؤمن بآياتنا فهم مسلمون وَمَا أَنتَ بِهَادِي الْعُمْيِ عَن ضَلَالَتِهِمْ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ |
Words | |وما - And not| أنت - (can) you| بهادي - guide| العمي - the blind| عن - from| ضلالتهم - their error.| إن - Not| تسمع - you can cause to hear| إلا - except| من - (those) who| يؤمن - believe| بآياتنا - in Our Signs| فهم - so they| مسلمون - (are) Muslims.| |

| አንተም (ልበ) ዕውሮችን ከጥመታቸው አቅኚ አይደለህም፡፡ በአንቀጾቻችን የሚያምኑትን በስተቀር አታሰማም፡፡ እነርሱ ፍጹም ታዛዦች ናቸውና፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وما أنت بهاد العمي عن ضلالتهم إن } ما { تسمع } سماع إفهام وقبول { إلا من يؤمن بآياتنا } القرآن { فهم مسلمون } مخلصون بتوحيد الله. |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনি অন্ধদেরকে তাদের পথভ্রষ্টতা থেকে ফিরিয়ে সৎপথে আনতে পারবেন না। আপনি কেবল তাদেরকে শোনাতে পারবেন, যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহে বিশ্বাস করে। অতএব, তারাই আজ্ঞাবহ। |
Literal | And you are not (capable) with guiding the blind/confused from their misguidance, that truly you make (to) hear/listen except who believes with Our verses/evidence/signs, so they are Moslems/submitters . |
Yusuf Ali | Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. |
Pickthal | Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. |
Arberry | Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. |
Shakir | Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. |
