| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[26:6] | Faqad kaththaboo fasaya/teehim anbaoma kanoo bihi yastahzi-oona
|  فقد كذبوا فسيأتيهم أنباء ما كانوا به يستهزئون
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاءُ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُون |
| Words | |فقد - So verily,| كذبوا - they have denied,| فسيأتيهم - then will come to them| أنباء - the news| ما - (of) what| كانوا - they used| به - at it| يستهزئون - (to) mock.| |

| በእርግጥም አስተባበሉ፡፡ የዚያም በእርሱ ይሳለቁበት የነበሩት ወሬዎች (ፍጻሜ) ይመጣባቸዋል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فقد كذبوا } به { فسيأتيهم أنباء } عواقب { ما كانوا به يستهزءُون } . |
| Ni$ skaddben. Ihi, ad asen d asen isallen, $ef wayen i$ef pmmaâliken. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতএব তারা তো মিথ্যারোপ করেছেই; সুতরাং যে বিষয় নিয়ে তারা ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপ করত, তার যথার্থ স্বরূপ শীঘ্রই তাদের কাছে পৌছবে। |
| Literal | So they had lied/denied/falsified so (the) news/information (of) what they were with it mocking/making fun of, will come to them. |
| Yusuf Ali | They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! |
| Pickthal | Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. |
| Arberry | So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. |
| Shakir | So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. |
| Sarwar | They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. |

| Qaribullah | So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. |
| George Sale | and they have charged it with falsehood: But a message shall come unto them, which they shall not laugh to scorn. |
