| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[21:7] | Wama arsalna qablaka illarijalan noohee ilayhim fais-aloo ahla alththikriin kuntum la taAAlamoona
|  وما أرسلنا قبلك إلا رجالا نوحي إليهم فاسألوا أهل الذكر إن كنتم لا تعلمون
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ |
| Words | |وما - And not| أرسلنا - We sent| قبلك - before you| إلا - except| رجالا - men,| نوحي - We revealed| إليهم - to them.| فاسألوا - So ask| أهل - (the) people| الذكر - (of) the Reminder,| إن - if| كنتم - you| لا - (do) not| تعلمون - know.| |

| ከአንተም በፊት ወደእነሱ የምናወርድላቸው የኾነን ሰዎችን እንጂ ሌላን አላክንም፡፡ የማታውቁም ብትኾኑ የመጽሐፉን ባለቤቶች ጠይቁ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما أرسلنا قبلك إلا رجالاً نوحي } وفي قراءة بالياء وفتح الحاء { إليهم } لا ملائكة { فاسألوا أهل الذكر } العلماء بالتوراة والإنجيل { إن كنتم لا تعلمون } ذلك فإنهم يعلمونه، وأنتم إلى تصديقهم أقرب من تصديق المؤمنين بمحمد . |
| Ur d Nuzen, uqbel ik, siwa irgazen, iwumi Nweêêa. Steqsit imawlan usmekti, ma ur teéôim. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনার পূর্বে আমি মানুষই প্রেরণ করেছি, যাদের কাছে আমি ওহী পাঠাতাম। অতএব তোমরা যদি না জান তবে যারা স্মরণ রাখে তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস কর। |
| Literal | And We did not send before you except men, We inspire/transmit to them, so ask/question the reminder's/remembrance's people if you were not knowing. |
| Yusuf Ali | Before thee, also, the messengers We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: If ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message. |
