| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[21:63] | Qala bal faAAalahu kabeeruhum hathafais-aloohum in kanoo yantiqoona
|  قال بل فعله كبيرهم هذا فاسألوهم إن كانوا ينطقون
قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَذَا فَاسْأَلُوهُمْ إِن كَانُوا يَنطِقُونَ |
| Words | |قال - He said,| بل - "Nay,| فعله - (some doer) did it.| كبيرهم - Their chief| هذا - (is) this.| فاسألوهم - So ask them| إن - if| كانوا - they (can)| ينطقون - speak."| |

| «አይደለም ይህ ታላቃቸው ሠራው፡፡ ይናገሩም እንደ ኾነ ጠይቋቸው» አለ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال } ساكتاً عن فعله { بل فعله كبيرهم هذا فاسألوهم } عن فاعله { إن كانوا ينطقون } فيه تقديم جواب الشرط وفيها قبله تعرض لهم بأن الصنم المعلوم عجزه عن الفعل لا يكون إلهاً . |
| Inna: "xaîi, i igan akka, d ameqwôan nnsen agi. Steqsit pen, ma pmeslayen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তিনি বললেনঃ না এদের এই প্রধানই তো একাজ করেছে। অতএব তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস কর, যদি তারা কথা বলতে পারে। |
| Literal | He said: "But/rather their oldest/biggest , that, made/did it, so ask/question them, if they were speaking." |
| Yusuf Ali | He said: "Nay, this was done by - this is their biggest one! ask them, if they can speak intelligently!" |
| Pickthal | He said: But this, their chief hath done it. So question them, if they can speak. |
