| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[21:41] | Walaqadi istuhzi-a birusulin min qablika fahaqabiallatheena sakhiroo minhum ma kanoobihi yastahzi-oona
|  ولقد استهزئ برسل من قبلك فحاق بالذين سخروا منهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون
وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ |
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| استهزئ - were mocked| برسل - Messengers| من - before you| قبلك - before you| فحاق - then surrounded| بالذين - those who| سخروا - mocked| منهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used| به - at it| يستهزئون - (to) mock.| |

| ከአንተ በፊትም የነበሩት መልክተኞች በእርግጥ ተቀለደባቸው፡፡ በእነዚያም ከእነሱ ይቀልዱ በነበሩት በርሱ ይሳለቁበት የነበሩት (ቅጣት) ሰፈረባቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولقد استهزئ برسل من قبلك } فيه تسلية للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم { فحاق } نزل { بالذين سخروا منهم ما كانوا به يستهزءون } وهو العذاب فكذا يحيق بمن استهزأ بك . |
| Ni$ ttahan $ef imazanen, uqbel ik! Ayen i$ef mmaâlken, izzi d $ef wid, segsen, i ittahan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনার পূর্বেও অনেক রাসূলের সাথে ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রূপ করা হয়েছে। অতঃপর যে বিষয়ে তারা ঠাট্টা করত তা উল্টো ঠাট্টাকারীদের উপরই আপতিত হয়েছে। |
| Literal | And had been mocked/made fun of with messengers from before you, so surrounded with those who mocked from them, what they were with it mocking (so those who mocked were surrounded by their deeds). |
| Yusuf Ali | Mocked were (many) messenger before thee; But their scoffers were hemmed in by the thing that they mocked. |
| Pickthal | Messengers before thee, indeed, were mocked, but that whereat they mocked surrounded those who scoffed at them. |
| Arberry | Messengers indeed were mocked at before thee, but those that scoffed at them were encompassed by that they mocked at. |
