| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[21:36] | Wa-itha raaka allatheenakafaroo in yattakhithoonaka illa huzuwan ahathaallathee yathkuru alihatakum wahum bithikrialrrahmani hum kafiroona
|  وإذا رآك الذين كفروا إن يتخذونك إلا هزوا أهذا الذي يذكر آلهتكم وهم بذكر الرحمن هم كافرون
وَإِذَا رَآكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَذَا الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَهُم بِذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَنِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ |
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رآك - they see you,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| إن - not| يتخذونك - they take you| إلا - except| هزوا - (in) ridicule,| أهذا - "Is this| الذي - the one who| يذكر - mentions| آلهتكم - your gods?"| وهم - And they| بذكر - at (the) mention| الرحمن - (of) the Most Gracious| هم - [they]| كافرون - (are) disbelievers.| |

| እነዚያም የካዱት ሰዎች ባዩህ ጊዜ መሳለቂያ አድርገው እንጂ አይይዙህም፡፡ እነሱ በአልረሕማን መወሳት እነርሱ ከሓዲዎች ሲሆኑ «ያ አማልክቶቻችሁን (በክፉ) የሚያነሳው ይህ ነውን» (ይላሉ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإذا رآك الذين كفروا إن } ما { يتخذونك إلا هزواً } أي مهزوءاً به يقولون { أهذا الذي يذكر آلهتكم } أي يعيبها { وهم بذكر الرحمن } لهم { هم } تأكيد { كافرون } به إذا قالوا ما نعرفه. |
| Mara k id walin wid ijehlen, pmmaâliken kan fellak: "d wagi id ikkaten deg iôebbiten nnwen"? Nitni nekôen asmekti n Uênin. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | কাফেররা যখন আপনাকে দেখে তখন আপনার সাথে ঠাট্টা করা ছাড়া তাদের আর কোন কাজ থাকে না, একি সেই ব্যক্তি, যে তোমাদের দেব-দেবীদের সমালোচনা করে? এবং তারাই তো রহমান’ এর আলোচনায় অস্বীকার করে। |
| Literal | And if those who disbelieved saw you, that they take you except mockingly/making fun, is that who mentions/remembers your gods? And they are with mentioning/remembering the merciful they are225disbelieving. |
| Yusuf Ali | When the Unbelievers see thee, they treat thee not except with ridicule. "Is this," (they say), "the one who talks of your gods?" and they blaspheme at the mention of (Allah) Most Gracious! |

[Sc., "and dares to deny their reality although he is a mere mortal like ourselves?"] and yet, it is they themselves who, at [every] mention of the Most Gracious, are wont to deny the truth! [I.e., although they resent any aspersion cast on whatever things or forces they unthinkingly worship, they refuse to acknowledge God's planning will manifested in every aspect of His creation.] |
| Khalifa** | When those who disbelieve see you, they ridicule you: "Is this the one who challenges your gods?" Meanwhile, they remain totally heedless of the message from the Most Gracious. |
