| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[21:35] | Kullu nafsin tha-iqatu almawtiwanablookum bialshsharri waalkhayri fitnatanwa-ilayna turjaAAoona
|  كل نفس ذائقة الموت ونبلوكم بالشر والخير فتنة وإلينا ترجعون
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَنَبْلُوكُم بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ |
| Words | |كل - Every| نفس - soul| ذائقة - (will) taste| الموت - [the] death.| ونبلوكم - And We test you| بالشر - with [the] bad| والخير - and [the] good| فتنة - (as) a trial;| وإلينا - and to Us| ترجعون - you will be returned.| |

| ነፍስ ሁሉ ሞትን ቀማሽ ናት፡፡ ለመፈተንም በክፉም በበጎም እንሞክራችኋለን፡፡ ወደኛም ትመለሳላችሁ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { كل نفس ذائقة الموت } في الدنيا { ونبلوكم } نختبركم { بالشر والخير } كفقر وغنى وسقم وصحة { فتنة } مفعول له، أي لننظر أتصبرون وتشكرون أم لا { وإلينا ترجعون } فنجازيكم . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | প্রত্যেককে মৃত্যুর স্বাদ আস্বাদন করতে হবে। আমি তোমাদেরকে মন্দ ও ভাল দ্বারা পরীক্ষা করে থাকি এবং আমারই কাছে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে। |
| Literal | Every self (is) tasting/experiencing the death/lifelessness, and We test you with the bad/harm and the good/generosity (as) a test , and to Us you are being returned. |
