[21:11] | Wakam qasamna min qaryatin kanatthalimatan waansha/na baAAdahaqawman akhareena
|  وكم قصمنا من قرية كانت ظالمة وأنشأنا بعدها قوما آخرين
وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً وَأَنشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ |
| Words | |وكم - And how many| قصمنا - We (have) shattered| من - of| قرية - a town| كانت - (that) was| ظالمة - unjust,| وأنشأنا - and We produced| بعدها - after them| قوما - another people.| آخرين - another people.| |

| በዳይም ከነበረች ከተማ ያጠፋናትና ከኋላዋም ሌሎችን ሕዝቦች ያስገኘነው ብዙ ናት፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وكم قصمنا } أهلكنا { من قرية } أي أهلها { كانت ظالمة } كافرة { وأنشأنا بعدها قوماً آخرين } . |
| Acêal n temdinin idensen ay Neôéa! Nexleq, deffir sent, agdud nniven. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি কত জনপদের ধ্বংস সাধন করেছি যার অধিবাসীরা ছিল পাপী এবং তাদের পর সৃষ্টি করেছি অন্য জাতি। |
| Literal | And how many from a village/urban city We destroyed/broke , (it) was unjust/oppressive, and We created/formed after it a nation (of) others. |
| Yusuf Ali | How many were the populations We utterly destroyed because of their iniquities, setting up in their places other peoples? |
