بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [17:56] | Quli odAAu allatheena zaAAamtum mindoonihi fala yamlikoona kashfa alddurriAAankum wala tahweelan
| قل ادعوا الذين زعمتم من دونه فلا يملكون كشف الضر عنكم ولا تحويلا قُلِ ادْعُواْ الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن دُونِهِ فَلاَ يَمْلِكُونَ كَشْفَ الضُّرِّ عَنكُمْ وَلاَ تَحْوِيلاً |
Words | |قل - Say,| ادعوا - "Call| الذين - those whom| زعمتم - you claimed| من - besides Him,| دونه - besides Him,| فلا - [then] not| يملكون - they have power| كشف - (to) remove| الضر - the misfortunes| عنكم - from you| ولا - and not| تحويلا - (to) transfer (it)."| |

| «እነዚያን ከእርሱ ሌላ (አማልክት) የምትሏቸውን ጥሩ፡፡ ከእናንተም ላይ ጉዳትን ማስወገድን (ወደ ሌላ) ማዞርንም አይችሉም» በላቸው፡፤ |
آل الجلالين | { قل } لهم { ادعوا الذين زعمتم } أنهم آلهة { من دونه } كالملائكة وعيسى وعزير { فلا يملكون كشف الضر عنكم ولا تحويلا } له إلى غيركم . |
| Ini: "nujet $eô wid tepkabarem, war Neppa. Ur zmiren ad awen kksen ccqa, ne$ a t bedlen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | বলুনঃ আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদেরকে তোমরা উপাস্য মনে কর, তাদেরকে আহবান কর। অথচ ওরা তো তোমাদের কষ্ট দুর করার ক্ষমতা রাখে না এবং তা পরিবর্তনও করতে পারে না। |
Literal | Say: "Call those whom you claimed/alleged from other than Him, so they do not own/posses the harm's removals from you, and nor a change/movement ." |
Yusuf Ali | Say: "Call on those - besides Him - whom ye fancy: they have neither the power to remove your troubles from you nor to change them." |
Pickthal | Say: Cry unto those (saints and angels) whom ye assume (to be gods) beside Him, yet they have no power to rid you of misfortune nor to change. |
Arberry | Say: 'Call on those you asserted apart from Him; they have no power to remove affliction from you, or to transfer it. |
Shakir | Say: Call on those whom you assert besides Him, so they shall not control the removal of distress from you nor (its) transference. |
