| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:55] | Warabbuka aAAlamu biman fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi walaqad faddalna baAAdaalnnabiyyeena AAala baAAdin waataynadawooda zabooran
|  وربك أعلم بمن في السماوات والأرض ولقد فضلنا بعض النبيين على بعض وآتينا داوود زبورا
وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَقَدْ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَ النَّبِيِّينَ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا |
| Words | |وربك - And your Lord| أعلم - (is) most knowing| بمن - of whoever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| ولقد - And verily| فضلنا - We have preferred| بعض - some| النبيين - (of) the Prophets| على - to| بعض - others.| وآتينا - And We gave| داوود - Dawood| زبورا - Zaboor.| |

| ጌታህም በሰማያትና በምድር ያለውን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው፡፡ ከፊሉንም ነቢያት በከፊሉ ላይ በእርግጥ አብልጠናል፡፡ ዳውድንም ዘቡርን ሰጥተነዋል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وربك أعلم بمن في السماوات والأرض } فيخصهم بما شاء على قدر أحوالهم { ولقد فضلنا بعض النبيين على بعض } بتخصيص كل منهم بفضيلة كموسى بالكلام وإبراهيم بالخلة ومحمد بالإسراء { وآتينا داود زبورا } . |
| Mass ik Yif akw akken Iéôa i illan di tmurt akked igenwan. Ni$ Nesmenyaf kra n lambiyya i wiyav. I Dawed Nefka Ihellilen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনার পালনকর্তা তাদের সম্পর্কে ভালভাবে জ্ঞাত আছেন, যারা আকাশসমূহে ও ভুপৃষ্ঠে রয়েছে। আমি তো কতক পয়গম্বরকে কতক পয়গম্বরের উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দান করেছি এবং দাউদকে যবুর দান করেছি। |
| Literal | And your Lord (is) more knowledgeable with (of) who (is) in the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth, and We had preferred/favoured some (of) the prophets over some, and We gave/brought David a Book. |
