| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:42] | Qul law kana maAAahu alihatunkama yaqooloona ithan laibtaghaw ila theealAAarshi sabeelan
|  قل لو كان معه آلهة كما يقولون إذا لابتغوا إلى ذي العرش سبيلا
قُل لَّوْ كَانَ مَعَهُ آلِهَةٌ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذًا لاَّبْتَغَوْاْ إِلَى ذِي الْعَرْشِ سَبِيلاً |
| Words | |قل - Say,| لو - "If| كان - (there) were| معه - with Him| آلهة - gods| كما - as| يقولون - they say,| إذا - then| لابتغوا - surely they (would) have sought| إلى - to| ذي - (the) Owner| العرش - (of) the Throne| سبيلا - a way."| |

| (ሙሐመድ ሆይ) በላቸው «እንደምትሉት ከእርሱ ጋር አማልክት በነበሩ ኖሮ ያን ጊዜ ወደ ዐርሹ ባለቤት መንገድን በፈለጉ ነበር፡፡» |
| آل الجلالين | { قل } لهم { لو كان معه } أي الله { آلهة كما يقولون إذا لابتغوْا } طلبوا { إلى ذي العرش } أي الله { سبيلاً } ليقاتلوه . |
| Ini: "lemmer llin yides iôebbiten, akken la d qqaôen, yili ad nadin abrid ara ten iawin ar n Bab n usgeld". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | বলুনঃ তাদের কথামত যদি তাঁর সাথে অন্যান্য উপাস্য থাকত; তবে তারা আরশের মালিক পর্যন্ত পৌছার পথ অন্বেষন করত। |
| Literal | Say: "If there were/are gods with Him as/like they say, then they would have wished/desired a way/path to (the owner) of the throne ." |
