| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[17:41] | Walaqad sarrafna fee hathaalqur-ani liyaththakkaroo wama yazeeduhumilla nufooran
|  ولقد صرفنا في هذا القرآن ليذكروا وما يزيدهم إلا نفورا
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَـذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلاَّ نُفُورًا |
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| صرفنا - We have explained| في - in| هذا - this| القرآن - the Quran,| ليذكروا - that they may take heed,| وما - but not| يزيدهم - it increases them| إلا - except| نفورا - (in) aversion.| |

| ይገሰጹም ዘንድ በዚህ ቁርኣን ውስጥ ደጋግመን በእርግጥ ገለጽን፡፡ መበርገግንም እንጂ ሌላን አይጨመርላቸውም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولقد صرفنا } بينا { في هذا القرآن } من الأمثال والوعد والوعيد { ليذكروا } يتعظوا { وما يزيدهم } ذلك { إلا نفروا } عن الحق . |
| Ih, ay d Nebbwi di Leqwôan agi, iwakken a d mmektin. I yasen d irna, siwa a$unfu. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি এই কোরআনে নানাভাবে বুঝিয়েছি, যাতে তারা চিন্তা করে। অথচ এতে তাদের কেবল বিমুখতাই বৃদ্ধি পায়। |
| Literal | And We had laid out/detailed linguistically in this the Koran, (so) they mention/remember (E) , and it does not increase them except hastening away with aversion. |
| Yusuf Ali | We have explained (things) in various (ways) in this Qur'an, in order that they may receive admonition, but it only increases their flight (from the Truth)! |
| Pickthal | We verily have displayed (Our warnings) in this Qur'an that they may take heed, but it increaseth them in naught save aversion. |
| Arberry | We have turned about in this Koran, that they may remember; and it increases them only in aversion. |

| George Sale | And now have we used various arguments and repetitions in this Koran, that they may be warned; yet it only rendereth them more disposed to fly from the truth. |
