| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[11:87] | Qaloo ya shuAAaybu asalatukata/muruka an natruka ma yaAAbudu abaonaaw an nafAAala fee amwalina ma nashaoinnaka laanta alhaleemu alrrasheedu
|  قالوا يا شعيب أصلاتك تأمرك أن نترك ما يعبد آباؤنا أو أن نفعل في أموالنا ما نشاء إنك لأنت الحليم الرشيد
قَالُواْ يَا شُعَيْبُ أَصَلاَتُكَ تَأْمُرُكَ أَن نَّتْرُكَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا أَوْ أَن نَّفْعَلَ فِي أَمْوَالِنَا مَا نَشَاءُ إِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ الْحَلِيمُ الرَّشِيدُ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| شعيب - "O Shuaib!| أصلاتك - Does your prayer| تأمرك - command you| أن - that| نترك - we leave| ما - what| يعبد - worship| آباؤنا - our forefathers,| أو - or| أن - that| نفعل - we do| في - concerning| أموالنا - our wealth| ما - what| نشاء - we will?| إنك - Indeed you,| لأنت - surely you| الحليم - (are) the forbearing,| الرشيد - the right-minded."| |

| «ሹዐይብ ሆይ! ስግደትህ አባቶቻችን የሚገዙትን ጣዖታት እንድንተው ወይም በገንዘቦቻችን የምንሻውን መሥራትን (እንድንተው) ታዝሃለችን አንተ በእርግጥ ታጋሹ ቅኑ አንተ ነህና» አሉት፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قالوا } له استهزاء { يا شعيب أصلاتك تأمرك } بتكليف { أن نترك ما يعبد آباؤنا } من الأصنام { أو } نترك { أن نفعل في أموالنا ما نشاء } المعنى هذا أمر باطل لا يدعو إليه داع بخير { إنك لأنت الحليم الرشيد } قالوا ذلك استهزاء . |
| Nnan: "a Cuâayeb, day a$ umôen wawalen ik, a neoo ayen âabden imezwura nne$? Ne$ a nexdem, deg wayla nne$, ayen ur a$ nehwi? Keçç, s tidep, d uêlim, d uûwib". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলল-হে শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) আপনার নামায কি আপনাকে ইহাই শিক্ষা দেয় যে, আমরা ঐসব উপাস্যদেরকে পরিত্যাগ করব আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যাদের উপাসনা করত? অথবা আমাদের ধন-সম্পদে ইচ্ছামত যা কিছু করে থাকি, তা ছেড়ে দেব? আপনি তো একজন খাস মহৎ ব্যক্তি ও সৎপথের পথিক। |
