| 1 [7:100] | Awa lam yahdi lillatheena yarithoonaal-arda min baAAdi ahliha an law nashao asabnahumbithunoobihim wanatbaAAu AAala quloobihimfahum la yasmaAAoona |  أولم يهد للذين يرثون الأرض من بعد أهلها أن لو نشاء أصبناهم بذنوبهم ونطبع على قلوبهم فهم لا يسمعونأَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لِلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْأَرْضَ مِن بَعْدِ أَهْلِهَا أَن لَّوْ نَشَاءُ أَصَبْنَاهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَنَطْبَعُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يَسْمَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولم - Would it not| يهد - guide| للذين - [for] those who| يرثون - inherit| الأرض - the land| من - from| بعد - after| أهلها - its people| أن - that| لو - if| نشاء - We willed,| أصبناهم - We (could) afflict them| بذنوبهم - for their sins| ونطبع - and We put a seal| على - over| قلوبهم - their hearts| فهم - so they| لا - (do) not| يسمعون - hear?| | ||||||
| 2 [7:178] | Man yahdi Allahu fahuwa almuhtadeewaman yudlil faola-ika humu alkhasiroona | من يهد الله فهو المهتدي ومن يضلل فأولئك هم الخاسرون مَن يَهْدِ اللّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِي وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |من - Whoever| يهد - (is) guided| الله - (by) Allah| فهو - then he| المهتدي - (is) the guided one| ومن - while whoever| يضلل - He lets go astray| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| الخاسرون - (are) the losers.| | ||||||
| 3 [17:97] | Waman yahdi Allahu fahuwa almuhtadiwaman yudlil falan tajida lahum awliyaa min doonihiwanahshuruhum yawma alqiyamati AAalawujoohihim AAumyan wabukman wasumman ma/wahumjahannamu kullama khabat zidnahum saAAeeran | ومن يهد الله فهو المهتد ومن يضلل فلن تجد لهم أولياء من دونه ونحشرهم يوم القيامة على وجوههم عميا وبكما وصما مأواهم جهنم كلما خبت زدناهم سعيرا وَمَن يَهْدِ اللّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِهِ وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ عُمْيًا وَبُكْمًا وَصُمًّا مَّأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ كُلَّمَا خَبَتْ زِدْنَاهُمْ سَعِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يهد - Allah guides| الله - Allah guides| فهو - then he (is)| المهتد - the guided one;| ومن - and whoever| يضلل - He lets go astray -| فلن - then never| تجد - you will find| لهم - for them| أولياء - protectors| من - besides Him.| دونه - besides Him.| ونحشرهم - And We will gather them| يوم - (on) the Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| على - on| وجوههم - their faces -| عميا - blind| وبكما - and dumb| وصما - and deaf.| مأواهم - Their abode| جهنم - (is) Hell;| كلما - every time| خبت - it subsides,| زدناهم - We (will) increase (for) them| سعيرا - the blazing fire.| | ||||||
| 4 [18:17] | Watara alshshamsa itha talaAAattazawaru AAan kahfihim thata alyameeni wa-ithagharabat taqriduhum thata alshshimaliwahum fee fajwatin minhu thalika min ayatiAllahi man yahdi Allahu fahuwa almuhtadi waman yudlilfalan tajida lahu waliyyan murshidan | وترى الشمس إذا طلعت تزاور عن كهفهم ذات اليمين وإذا غربت تقرضهم ذات الشمال وهم في فجوة منه ذلك من آيات الله من يهد الله فهو المهتد ومن يضلل فلن تجد له وليا مرشدا وَتَرَى الشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت تَّزَاوَرُ عَن كَهْفِهِمْ ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا غَرَبَت تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَهُمْ فِي فَجْوَةٍ مِّنْهُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ مَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ وَلِيًّا مُّرْشِدًا | |||||
| Words | |وترى - And you (might) have seen| الشمس - the sun,| إذا - when| طلعت - it rose,| تزاور - inclining away| عن - from| كهفهم - their cave| ذات - to| اليمين - the right,| وإذا - and when| غربت - it set,| تقرضهم - passing away from them| ذات - to| الشمال - the left| وهم - while they| في - (lay) in| فجوة - the open space| منه - thereof.| ذلك - That| من - (was) from| آيات - (the) Signs| الله - (of) Allah.| من - Whoever| يهد - Allah guides| الله - Allah guides| فهو - and he| المهتد - (is) the guided one,| ومن - and whoever| يضلل - He lets go astray| فلن - then never| تجد - you will find| له - for him| وليا - a protector,| مرشدا - a guide.| | ||||||
| 5 [20:128] | Afalam yahdi lahum kam ahlaknaqablahum mina alqurooni yamshoona fee masakinihim inna feethalika laayatin li-olee alnnuha | أفلم يهد لهم كم أهلكنا قبلهم من القرون يمشون في مساكنهم إن في ذلك لآيات لأولي النهى أَفَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ الْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِي مَسَاكِنِهِمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّأُوْلِي النُّهَى | |||||

| 6 [32:26] | Awa lam yahdi lahum kam ahlakna minqablihim mina alqurooni yamshoona fee masakinihim inna feethalika laayatin afala yasmaAAoona | أولم يهد لهم كم أهلكنا من قبلهم من القرون يمشون في مساكنهم إن في ذلك لآيات أفلا يسمعون أَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ الْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِي مَسَاكِنِهِمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ أَفَلَا يَسْمَعُونَ | |||||

| 7 [39:37] | Waman yahdi Allahu fama lahumin mudillin alaysa Allahu biAAazeezin theeintiqamin | ومن يهد الله فما له من مضل أليس الله بعزيز ذي انتقام وَمَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن مُّضِلٍّ أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِعَزِيزٍ ذِي انتِقَامٍ | |||||

| 8 [64:11] | Ma asaba min museebatinilla bi-ithni Allahi waman yu/min biAllahiyahdi qalbahu waAllahu bikulli shay-in AAaleemun | ما أصاب من مصيبة إلا بإذن الله ومن يؤمن بالله يهد قلبه والله بكل شيء عليم مَا أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| أصاب - strikes| من - any| مصيبة - disaster| إلا - except| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| ومن - And whoever| يؤمن - believes| بالله - in Allah,| يهد - He guides| قلبه - his heart.| والله - And Allah| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عليم - (is) All-Knowing.| | ||||||
