[7:178] | Man yahdi Allahu fahuwa almuhtadeewaman yudlil faola-ika humu alkhasiroona
|  من يهد الله فهو المهتدي ومن يضلل فأولئك هم الخاسرون
مَن يَهْدِ اللّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِي وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ |
| Words | |من - Whoever| يهد - (is) guided| الله - (by) Allah| فهو - then he| المهتدي - (is) the guided one| ومن - while whoever| يضلل - He lets go astray| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| الخاسرون - (are) the losers.| |

| አላህ የሚያቀናው ሰው ቅን እርሱ ነው፡፡ የሚያጠመውም ሰው እነዚያ ከሳሪዎቹ እነሱ ናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { من يهَدِ الله فهو المهتدي ومن يُضْللْ فأولئك هم الخاسرون } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যাকে আল্লাহ পথ দেখাবেন, সেই পথপ্রাপ্ত হবে। আর যাকে তিনি পথ ভ্রষ্ট করবেন, সে হবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত। |
| Literal | Who God guides, so he is the guided, and who He misguides, so those (are) the losing/misguiding and perishing. |
