| 1 [3:24] | Thalika bi-annahum qaloo lantamassana alnnaru illa ayyamanmaAAdoodatin wagharrahum fee deenihim ma kanooyaftaroona |  ذلك بأنهم قالوا لن تمسنا النار إلا أياما معدودات وغرهم في دينهم ما كانوا يفترونذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ لَن تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلاَّ أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِي دِينِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قالوا - say,| لن - "Never| تمسنا - will touch us| النار - the Fire| إلا - except| أياما - (for) days| معدودات - numbered."| وغرهم - And deceived them| في - in| دينهم - their religion| ما - what| كانوا - they were| يفترون - inventing.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:50] | Onthur kayfa yaftaroona AAalaAllahi alkathiba wakafa bihi ithman mubeenan | انظر كيف يفترون على الله الكذب وكفى به إثما مبينا انظُرْ كَيفَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الكَذِبَ وَكَفَى بِهِ إِثْمًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |انظر - See| كيف - how| يفترون - they invent| على - about| الله - Allah| الكذب - [the] lie,| وكفى - and sufficient| به - is it -| إثما - (as) a sin| مبينا - manifest.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:103] | Ma jaAAala Allahu min baheeratinwala sa-ibatin wala waseelatin walahamin walakinna allatheena kafarooyaftaroona AAala Allahi alkathibawaaktharuhum la yaAAqiloona | ما جعل الله من بحيرة ولا سائبة ولا وصيلة ولا حام ولكن الذين كفروا يفترون على الله الكذب وأكثرهم لا يعقلون مَا جَعَلَ اللّهُ مِن بَحِيرَةٍ وَلاَ سَآئِبَةٍ وَلاَ وَصِيلَةٍ وَلاَ حَامٍ وَلَـكِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| جعل - has (been) made| الله - (by) Allah| من - of| بحيرة - a Bahirah| ولا - and not| سائبة - a Saibah| ولا - and not| وصيلة - a Wasilah| ولا - and not| حام - a Hami.| ولكن - [And] but| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| يفترون - they invent| على - against| الله - Allah| الكذب - the lie,| وأكثرهم - and most of them| لا - (do) not| يعقلون - use reason.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:24] | Onthur kayfa kathabooAAala anfusihim wadalla AAanhum ma kanooyaftaroona | انظر كيف كذبوا على أنفسهم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون انظُرْ كَيْفَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |انظر - Look| كيف - how| كذبوا - they lied| على - against| أنفسهم - themselves.| وضل - And lost| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 5 [6:112] | Wakathalika jaAAalna likullinabiyyin AAaduwwan shayateena al-insi waaljinni yooheebaAAduhum ila baAAdin zukhrufa alqawlighurooran walaw shaa rabbuka ma faAAaloohu fatharhumwama yaftaroona | وكذلك جعلنا لكل نبي عدوا شياطين الإنس والجن يوحي بعضهم إلى بعض زخرف القول غرورا ولو شاء ربك ما فعلوه فذرهم وما يفترون وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيَاطِينَ الْإِنسِ وَالْجِنِّ يُوحِي بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ الْقَوْلِ غُرُورًا وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| جعلنا - We made| لكل - for every| نبي - Prophet| عدوا - an enemy -| شياطين - devils| الإنس - (from) the mankind| والجن - and the jinn,| يوحي - inspiring| بعضهم - some of them| إلى - to| بعض - others| زخرف - (with) decorative| القول - [the] speech| غرورا - (in) deception.| ولو - But if| شاء - (had) willed| ربك - your Lord| ما - not| فعلوه - they (would) have done it,| فذرهم - so leave them| وما - and what| يفترون - they invent.| | ||||||
| 6 [6:137] | Wakathalika zayyana likatheerin minaalmushrikeena qatla awladihim shurakaohumliyurdoohum waliyalbisoo AAalayhim deenahum walaw shaa Allahuma faAAaloohu fatharhum wama yaftaroona | وكذلك زين لكثير من المشركين قتل أولادهم شركاؤهم ليردوهم وليلبسوا عليهم دينهم ولو شاء الله ما فعلوه فذرهم وما يفترون وَكَذَلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٍ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَتْلَ أَوْلاَدِهِمْ شُرَكَآؤُهُمْ لِيُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِيَلْبِسُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ دِينَهُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And likewise| زين - made pleasing| لكثير - to many| من - of| المشركين - the polytheists -| قتل - (the) killing| أولادهم - (of) their children -| شركاؤهم - their partners -| ليردوهم - so that they may ruin them| وليلبسوا - and that they make confusing| عليهم - to them| دينهم - their religion.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah| ما - not| فعلوه - (would) they have done so.| فذرهم - So leave them| وما - and what| يفترون - they invent.| | ||||||
| 7 [6:138] | Waqaloo hathihi anAAamunwaharthun hijrun la yatAAamuhailla man nashao bizaAAmihim waanAAamun hurrimatthuhooruha waanAAamun la yathkuroonaisma Allahi AAalayha iftiraan AAalayhisayajzeehim bima kanoo yaftaroona | وقالوا هذه أنعام وحرث حجر لا يطعمها إلا من نشاء بزعمهم وأنعام حرمت ظهورها وأنعام لا يذكرون اسم الله عليها افتراء عليه سيجزيهم بما كانوا يفترون وَقَالُواْ هَـذِهِ أَنْعَامٌ وَحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌ لاَّ يَطْعَمُهَا إِلاَّ مَن نَّشَاءُ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَأَنْعَامٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنْعَامٌ لاَّ يَذْكُرُونَ اسْمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْهَا افْتِرَاءً عَلَيْهِ سَيَجْزِيهِم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| هذه - "These| أنعام - (are) cattle| وحرث - and crops,| حجر - forbidden,| لا - no (one)| يطعمها - can eat them| إلا - except| من - whom| نشاء - we will,"| بزعمهم - by their claim.| وأنعام - And cattle,| حرمت - forbidden| ظهورها - (are) their backs| وأنعام - and cattle| لا - not| يذكرون - they mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليها - on it| افتراء - (as) an invention| عليه - against Him.| سيجزيهم - He will recompense them| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 8 [7:53] | Hal yanthuroona illata/weelahu yawma ya/tee ta/weeluhu yaqoolu allatheenanasoohu min qablu qad jaat rusulu rabbina bialhaqqifahal lana min shufaAAaa fayashfaAAoo lanaaw nuraddu fanaAAmala ghayra allathee kunnanaAAmalu qad khasiroo anfusahum wadalla AAanhum makanoo yaftaroona | هل ينظرون إلا تأويله يوم يأتي تأويله يقول الذين نسوه من قبل قد جاءت رسل ربنا بالحق فهل لنا من شفعاء فيشفعوا لنا أو نرد فنعمل غير الذي كنا نعمل قد خسروا أنفسهم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ تَأْوِيلَهُ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي تَأْوِيلُهُ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَاءَ فَيَشْفَعُواْ لَنَا أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ قَدْ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هل - Do| ينظرون - they wait| إلا - except| تأويله - (for) its fulfillment| يوم - (The) Day| يأتي - (will) come| تأويله - its fulfillment,| يقول - will say| الذين - those who| نسوه - had forgotten it| من - from| قبل - before,| قد - "Verily| جاءت - had come| رسل - (the) Messengers| ربنا - (of) our Lord| بالحق - with the truth,| فهل - so are (there)| لنا - for us| من - any| شفعاء - intercessors| فيشفعوا - so (that) they intercede| لنا - for us| أو - or| نرد - we are sent back| فنعمل - so (that) we do (deeds)| غير - other than| الذي - that which| كنا - we used to| نعمل - do."| قد - Verily,| خسروا - they lost| أنفسهم - themselves,| وضل - and strayed| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 9 [10:30] | Hunalika tabloo kullu nafsin maaslafat waruddoo ila Allahi mawlahumu alhaqqiwadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona | هنالك تبلو كل نفس ما أسلفت وردوا إلى الله مولاهم الحق وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون هُنَالِكَ تَبْلُو كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا أَسْلَفَتْ وَرُدُّواْ إِلَى اللّهِ مَوْلاَهُمُ الْحَقِّ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هنالك - There| تبلو - will be put to trial| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - (for) what| أسلفت - it did previously,| وردوا - and they will be returned| إلى - to| الله - Allah| مولاهم - their Lord| الحق - the true,| وضل - and will be lost| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used (to)| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 10 [10:60] | Wama thannu allatheenayaftaroona AAala Allahi alkathiba yawmaalqiyamati inna Allaha lathoo fadlinAAala alnnasi walakinna aktharahum layashkuroona | وما ظن الذين يفترون على الله الكذب يوم القيامة إن الله لذو فضل على الناس ولكن أكثرهم لا يشكرون وَمَا ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لاَ يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And what| ظن - (will be the) assumption| الذين - (of) those who| يفترون - invent| على - against| الله - Allah| الكذب - the lie| يوم - (on) the Day| القيامة - (of) the Judgment?| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لذو - (is) surely Full (of) Bounty| فضل - (is) surely Full (of) Bounty| على - to| الناس - the mankind,| ولكن - but| أكثرهم - most of them| لا - (are) not| يشكرون - grateful.| | ||||||
| 11 [10:69] | Qul inna allatheena yaftaroona AAalaAllahi alkathiba la yuflihoona | قل إن الذين يفترون على الله الكذب لا يفلحون قُلْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ لاَ يُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed| الذين - those who| يفترون - invent| على - against| الله - Allah| الكذب - the lie,| لا - they will not succeed."| يفلحون - they will not succeed."| | ||||||
| 12 [11:21] | Ola-ika allatheena khasirooanfusahum wadalla AAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona | أولئك الذين خسروا أنفسهم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who| خسروا - (have) lost| أنفسهم - their souls,| وضل - and lost| عنهم - from them| ما - (is) what| كانوا - they used| يفترون - (to) invent.| | ||||||
| 13 [16:87] | Waalqaw ila Allahi yawma-ithinalssalama wadalla AAanhum ma kanooyaftaroona | وألقوا إلى الله يومئذ السلم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون وَأَلْقَوْاْ إِلَى اللّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ السَّلَمَ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وألقوا - And they (will) offer| إلى - to| الله - Allah| يومئذ - (on) that Day| السلم - the submission,| وضل - and (is) lost| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used (to)| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 14 [16:116] | Wala taqooloo lima tasifualsinatukumu alkathiba hatha halalunwahatha haramun litaftaroo AAala Allahialkathiba inna allatheena yaftaroona AAalaAllahi alkathiba la yuflihoona | ولا تقولوا لما تصف ألسنتكم الكذب هذا حلال وهذا حرام لتفتروا على الله الكذب إن الذين يفترون على الله الكذب لا يفلحون وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ الْكَذِبَ هَـذَا حَلاَلٌ وَهَـذَا حَرَامٌ لِّتَفْتَرُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ لاَ يُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقولوا - say| لما - for that which| تصف - assert| ألسنتكم - your tongues,| الكذب - the lie,| هذا - "This| حلال - (is) lawful| وهذا - and this| حرام - (is) forbidden,"| لتفتروا - so that you invent| على - about| الله - Allah| الكذب - the lie.| إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يفترون - invent| على - about| الله - Allah| الكذب - the lie,| لا - they will not succeed.| يفلحون - they will not succeed.| | ||||||
| 15 [21:20] | Yusabbihoona allayla waalnnaharala yafturoona | يسبحون الليل والنهار لا يفترون يُسَبِّحُونَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يسبحون - They glorify (Him)| الليل - [the] night| والنهار - and [the] day,| لا - not| يفترون - they slacken.| | ||||||
| 16 [28:75] | WanazaAAna min kulli ommatinshaheedan faqulna hatoo burhanakumfaAAalimoo anna alhaqqa lillahi wadallaAAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona | ونزعنا من كل أمة شهيدا فقلنا هاتوا برهانكم فعلموا أن الحق لله وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوا أَنَّ الْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ونزعنا - And We will draw forth| من - from| كل - every| أمة - nation| شهيدا - a witness| فقلنا - and We will say,| هاتوا - "Bring| برهانكم - your proof?"| فعلموا - Then they will know| أن - that| الحق - the truth| لله - (is) for Allah| وضل - and (will be) lost| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used (to)| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 17 [29:13] | Walayahmilunna athqalahumwaathqalan maAAa athqalihim walayus-alunna yawmaalqiyamati AAamma kanoo yaftaroona | وليحملن أثقالهم وأثقالا مع أثقالهم وليسألن يوم القيامة عما كانوا يفترون وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَّعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ وَلَيُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وليحملن - But surely they will carry| أثقالهم - their burdens| وأثقالا - and burdens| مع - with| أثقالهم - their burdens,| وليسألن - and surely they will be questioned| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection| عما - about what| كانوا - they used| يفترون - (to) invent.| | ||||||
| 18 [46:28] | Falawla nasarahumu allatheenaittakhathoo min dooni Allahi qurbanan alihatanbal dalloo AAanhum wathalika ifkuhum wama kanooyaftaroona | فلولا نصرهم الذين اتخذوا من دون الله قربانا آلهة بل ضلوا عنهم وذلك إفكهم وما كانوا يفترون فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ قُرْبَانًا آلِهَةً بَلْ ضَلُّوا عَنْهُمْ وَذَلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلولا - Then why (did) not| نصرهم - help them| الذين - those whom| اتخذوا - they had taken| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| قربانا - gods as a way of approach?| آلهة - gods as a way of approach?| بل - Nay,| ضلوا - they were lost| عنهم - from them.| وذلك - And that| إفكهم - (was) their falsehood| وما - and what| كانوا - they were| يفترون - inventing.| | ||||||
