| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[16:87] | Waalqaw ila Allahi yawma-ithinalssalama wadalla AAanhum ma kanooyaftaroona
|  وألقوا إلى الله يومئذ السلم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون
وَأَلْقَوْاْ إِلَى اللّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ السَّلَمَ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ |
| Words | |وألقوا - And they (will) offer| إلى - to| الله - Allah| يومئذ - (on) that Day| السلم - the submission,| وضل - and (is) lost| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used (to)| يفترون - invent.| |

| (አጋሪዎቹ) በዚያ ቀንም ታዛዥነታቸውን ወደ አላህ ያቀርባሉ፡፡ ይቀጣጥፉት የነበሩትም ሁሉ ከእነርሱ ይጠፋቸዋል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وألقوا إلى الله يومئذ السلم } أي استسلموا لحكمه { وضل } غاب { عنهم ما كانوا يفترون } من أن آلهتهم تشفع لهم . |
| Assen, ad fken mayna i Öebbi. Itelf iten wayen d snulfuyen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সেদিন তারা আল্লাহর সামনে আত্নসমর্পন করবে এবং তারা যে মিথ্যা অপবাদ দিত তা বিস্মৃত হবে। |
| Literal | And they threw to God (on) that day/time the submission/surrender , and what they were fabricating/cutting and splitting (was) wasted/nullified/lost from them. |
| Yusuf Ali | That Day shall they (openly) show (their) submission to Allah; and all their inventions shall leave them in the lurch. |
| Pickthal | And they proffer unto Allah submission on that day, and all that they used to invent hath failed them. |
| Arberry | And they will offer God surrender that day, and there shall go astray from them that they were forging. |
| Shakir | And they shall tender submission to Allah on that day; and what they used to forge shall depart from them. |
| Sarwar | (On the Day of Judgment) the disbelievers will submit themselves to God and whatever they had falsely invented will disappear. |
