| 1 [2:243] | Alam tara ila allatheenakharajoo min diyarihim wahum oloofun hatharaalmawti faqala lahumu Allahu mootoo thumma ahyahuminna Allaha lathoo fadlin AAala alnnasiwalakinna akthara alnnasi layashkuroona |  ألم تر إلى الذين خرجوا من ديارهم وهم ألوف حذر الموت فقال لهم الله موتوا ثم أحياهم إن الله لذو فضل على الناس ولكن أكثر الناس لا يشكرونأَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ خَرَجُواْ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ وَهُمْ أُلُوفٌ حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِ فَقَالَ لَهُمُ اللّهُ مُوتُواْ ثُمَّ أَحْيَاهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Did not| تر - you see| إلى - [to]| الذين - those who| خرجوا - went out| من - from| ديارهم - their homes| وهم - and they| ألوف - (were in) thousands| حذر - (in) fear| الموت - (of) [the] death?| فقال - Then said| لهم - to them| الله - Allah,| موتوا - "Die;"| ثم - then| أحياهم - He restored them to life.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لذو - (is) surely Possessor| فضل - (of) bounty| على - for| الناس - [the] mankind| ولكن - [and] but| أكثر - most| الناس - (of) the people| لا - (are) not| يشكرون - grateful.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:58] | Waalbaladu alttayyibuyakhruju nabatuhu bi-ithni rabbihi waallatheekhabutha la yakhruju illa nakidan kathalikanusarrifu al-ayati liqawmin yashkuroona | والبلد الطيب يخرج نباته بإذن ربه والذي خبث لا يخرج إلا نكدا كذلك نصرف الآيات لقوم يشكرون وَالْبَلَدُ الطَّيِّبُ يَخْرُجُ نَبَاتُهُ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ وَالَّذِي خَبُثَ لاَ يَخْرُجُ إِلاَّ نَكِدًا كَذَلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والبلد - And the land -| الطيب - [the] pure,| يخرج - comes forth| نباته - its vegetation| بإذن - by (the) permission| ربه - (of) its Lord,| والذي - but which| خبث - is bad -| لا - (does) not| يخرج - come forth| إلا - except| نكدا - (with) difficulty.| كذلك - Thus| نصرف - We explain| الآيات - the Signs| لقوم - for a people| يشكرون - who are grateful.| | ||||||
| 3 [10:60] | Wama thannu allatheenayaftaroona AAala Allahi alkathiba yawmaalqiyamati inna Allaha lathoo fadlinAAala alnnasi walakinna aktharahum layashkuroona | وما ظن الذين يفترون على الله الكذب يوم القيامة إن الله لذو فضل على الناس ولكن أكثرهم لا يشكرون وَمَا ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لاَ يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And what| ظن - (will be the) assumption| الذين - (of) those who| يفترون - invent| على - against| الله - Allah| الكذب - the lie| يوم - (on) the Day| القيامة - (of) the Judgment?| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لذو - (is) surely Full (of) Bounty| فضل - (is) surely Full (of) Bounty| على - to| الناس - the mankind,| ولكن - but| أكثرهم - most of them| لا - (are) not| يشكرون - grateful.| | ||||||
| 4 [12:38] | WaittabaAAtu millata aba-eeibraheema wa-ishaqa wayaAAqooba ma kanalana an nushrika biAllahi min shay-in thalikamin fadli Allahi AAalayna waAAala alnnasiwalakinna akthara alnnasi layashkuroona | واتبعت ملة آبائي إبراهيم وإسحاق ويعقوب ما كان لنا أن نشرك بالله من شيء ذلك من فضل الله علينا وعلى الناس ولكن أكثر الناس لا يشكرون وَاتَّبَعْتُ مِلَّةَ آبَآئِـي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ مَا كَانَ لَنَا أَن نُّشْرِكَ بِاللّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ذَلِكَ مِن فَضْلِ اللّهِ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واتبعت - And I follow| ملة - (the) religion| آبائي - (of) my forefathers,| إبراهيم - Ibrahim,| وإسحاق - and Isaac| ويعقوب - and Yaqub.| ما - Not| كان - was| لنا - for us| أن - that| نشرك - we associate| بالله - with Allah| من - any| شيء - thing.| ذلك - That| من - (is) from| فضل - (the) Grace| الله - (of) Allah| علينا - upon us,| وعلى - and upon| الناس - the mankind| ولكن - but| أكثر - most| الناس - (of) the men| لا - (are) not| يشكرون - grateful.| | ||||||
| 5 [14:37] | Rabbana innee askantu min thurriyyateebiwadin ghayri thee zarAAin AAinda baytika almuharramirabbana liyuqeemoo alssalata faijAAalaf-idatan mina alnnasi tahwee ilayhim waorzuqhummina alththamarati laAAallahum yashkuroona | ربنا إني أسكنت من ذريتي بواد غير ذي زرع عند بيتك المحرم ربنا ليقيموا الصلاة فاجعل أفئدة من الناس تهوي إليهم وارزقهم من الثمرات لعلهم يشكرون رَّبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُم مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| إني - Indeed, I| أسكنت - [I] have settled| من - (some) of| ذريتي - my offsprings| بواد - in a valley| غير - not| ذي - with| زرع - cultivation| عند - near| بيتك - Your Sacred House,| المحرم - Your Sacred House,| ربنا - our Lord!| ليقيموا - That they may establish| الصلاة - the prayers.| فاجعل - So make| أفئدة - hearts| من - of| الناس - the men| تهوي - incline| إليهم - towards them,| وارزقهم - and provide them| من - with| الثمرات - the fruits| لعلهم - so that they may| يشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 6 [27:73] | Wa-inna rabbaka lathoo fadlinAAala alnnasi walakinna aktharahum layashkuroona | وإن ربك لذو فضل على الناس ولكن أكثرهم لا يشكرون وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| ربك - your Lord| لذو - (is) full of Bounty| فضل - (is) full of Bounty| على - for| الناس - the mankind,| ولكن - but| أكثرهم - most of them| لا - (are) not| يشكرون - grateful.| | ||||||
| 7 [36:35] | Liya/kuloo min thamarihi wamaAAamilat-hu aydeehim afala yashkuroona | ليأكلوا من ثمره وما عملته أيديهم أفلا يشكرون لِيَأْكُلُوا مِن ثَمَرِهِ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ليأكلوا - That they may eat| من - of| ثمره - its fruit.| وما - And not| عملته - made it| أيديهم - their hands.| أفلا - So will not| يشكرون - they be grateful?| | ||||||
| 8 [36:73] | Walahum feeha manafiAAu wamasharibuafala yashkuroona | ولهم فيها منافع ومشارب أفلا يشكرون وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولهم - And for them| فيها - therein| منافع - (are) benefits| ومشارب - and drinks,| أفلا - so (will) not| يشكرون - they give thanks?| | ||||||
| 9 [40:61] | Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumuallayla litaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiraninna Allaha lathoo fadlin AAala alnnasiwalakinna akthara alnnasi layashkuroona | الله الذي جعل لكم الليل لتسكنوا فيه والنهار مبصرا إن الله لذو فضل على الناس ولكن أكثر الناس لا يشكرون اللَّهُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
