| 1 [7:176] | Walaw shi/na larafaAAnahu bihawalakinnahu akhlada ila al-ardi waittabaAAahawahu famathaluhu kamathali alkalbi in tahmilAAalayhi yalhath aw tatruk-hu yalhath thalika mathalualqawmi allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinafaoqsusi alqasasa laAAallahumyatafakkaroona |  ولو شئنا لرفعناه بها ولكنه أخلد إلى الأرض واتبع هواه فمثله كمثل الكلب إن تحمل عليه يلهث أو تتركه يلهث ذلك مثل القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فاقصص القصص لعلهم يتفكرونوَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَرَفَعْنَاهُ بِهَا وَلَـكِنَّهُ أَخْلَدَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ فَمَثَلُهُ كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ إِن تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْهِ يَلْهَثْ أَوْ تَتْرُكْهُ يَلْهَث ذَّلِكَ مَثَلُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا فَاقْصُصِ الْقَصَصَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| شئنا - We willed| لرفعناه - surely, We (could) have raised him| بها - with these| ولكنه - [and] but he| أخلد - adhered| إلى - to| الأرض - the earth| واتبع - and followed| هواه - his (vain) desires.| فمثله - So his example| كمثل - (is) like (the) example| الكلب - (of) the dog,| إن - if| تحمل - you attack| عليه - [on] him,| يلهث - he lolls out his tongue| أو - or| تتركه - if you leave him,| يلهث - he lolls out his tongue.| ذلك - That| مثل - (is the) example| القوم - (of) the people| الذين - who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - [in] Our Signs.| فاقصص - So relate| القصص - the story| لعلهم - so that they may| يتفكرون - reflect.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:24] | Innama mathalu alhayatialddunya kama-in anzalnahu mina alssama-ifaikhtalata bihi nabatu al-ardi mimmaya/kulu alnnasu waal-anAAamu hattaitha akhathati al-ardu zukhrufaha waizzayyanatwathanna ahluha annahum qadiroonaAAalayha ataha amruna laylan aw naharanfajaAAalnaha haseedan kaan lam taghnabial-amsi kathalika nufassilu al-ayatiliqawmin yatafakkaroona | إنما مثل الحياة الدنيا كماء أنزلناه من السماء فاختلط به نبات الأرض مما يأكل الناس والأنعام حتى إذا أخذت الأرض زخرفها وازينت وظن أهلها أنهم قادرون عليها أتاها أمرنا ليلا أو نهارا فجعلناها حصيدا كأن لم تغن بالأمس كذلك نفصل الآيات لقوم يتفكرون إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاءٍ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَاخْتَلَطَ بِهِ نَبَاتُ الْأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالْأَنْعَامُ حَتَّىَ إِذَا أَخَذَتِ الْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَا أَنَّهُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَاهَا أَمْرُنَا لَيْلاً أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَاهَا حَصِيدًا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِالْأَمْسِ كَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| مثل - (the) example| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| كماء - (is) like (the) water| أنزلناه - which We sent down| من - from| السماء - the sky,| فاختلط - so absorbs| به - [with] it,| نبات - (the) plants| الأرض - (of) the earth| مما - from which| يأكل - eat| الناس - the men| والأنعام - and the cattle,| حتى - until| إذا - when| أخذت - takes| الأرض - the earth| زخرفها - its adornment| وازينت - and is beautified| وظن - and think| أهلها - its people| أنهم - that they| قادرون - have the power| عليها - over it,| أتاها - comes (to) it| أمرنا - Our command| ليلا - (by) night| أو - or| نهارا - (by) day,| فجعلناها - and We make it| حصيدا - a harvest clean-mown,| كأن - as if| لم - not| تغن - it had flourished| بالأمس - yesterday.| كذلك - Thus| نفصل - We explain| الآيات - the Signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who reflect.| | ||||||
| 3 [13:3] | Wahuwa allathee madda al-ardawajaAAala feeha rawasiya waanharan waminkulli alththamarati jaAAala feeha zawjayniithnayni yughshee allayla alnnahara inna fee thalikalaayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona | وهو الذي مد الأرض وجعل فيها رواسي وأنهارا ومن كل الثمرات جعل فيها زوجين اثنين يغشي الليل النهار إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَدَّ الْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْهَارًا وَمِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| مد - spread| الأرض - the earth,| وجعل - and placed| فيها - in it| رواسي - firm mountains| وأنهارا - and rivers,| ومن - and from| كل - all| الثمرات - (of) the fruits| جعل - He made| فيها - in it| زوجين - pairs| اثنين - two.| يغشي - He covers| الليل - the night| النهار - (with) the day.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) Signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who ponder.| | ||||||
| 4 [16:11] | Yunbitu lakum bihi alzzarAAa waalzzaytoonawaalnnakheela waal-aAAnaba wamin kulli alththamaratiinna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yatafakkaroona | ينبت لكم به الزرع والزيتون والنخيل والأعناب ومن كل الثمرات إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يتفكرون يُنبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ الزَّرْعَ وَالزَّيْتُونَ وَالنَّخِيلَ وَالْأَعْنَابَ وَمِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ينبت - He causes to grow| لكم - for you| به - with it,| الزرع - the crops| والزيتون - and the olives| والنخيل - and the date-palms| والأعناب - and the grapes| ومن - and of| كل - every kind| الثمرات - (of) fruits.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - surely (is) a sign| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who reflect.| | ||||||
| 5 [16:44] | Bialbayyinati waalzzuburiwaanzalna ilayka alththikra litubayyina lilnnasima nuzzila ilayhim walaAAallahum yatafakkaroona | بالبينات والزبر وأنزلنا إليك الذكر لتبين للناس ما نزل إليهم ولعلهم يتفكرون بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |بالبينات - With the clear proofs| والزبر - and the Books.| وأنزلنا - And We sent down| إليك - to you| الذكر - the Remembrance,| لتبين - that you may make clear| للناس - to the mankind,| ما - what| نزل - has been sent down| إليهم - to them| ولعلهم - and that they may| يتفكرون - reflect.| | ||||||
| 6 [16:69] | Thumma kulee min kulli alththamaratifaoslukee subula rabbiki thululan yakhruju min butoonihasharabun mukhtalifun alwanuhu feehi shifaonlilnnasi inna fee thalika laayatanliqawmin yatafakkaroona | ثم كلي من كل الثمرات فاسلكي سبل ربك ذللا يخرج من بطونها شراب مختلف ألوانه فيه شفاء للناس إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يتفكرون ثُمَّ كُلِي مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ فَاسْلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلاً يَخْرُجُ مِن بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِّلنَّاسِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| كلي - eat| من - from| كل - all| الثمرات - the fruits| فاسلكي - and follow| سبل - (the) ways| ربك - (of) your Lord| ذللا - made smooth."| يخرج - Comes forth| من - from| بطونها - their bellies| شراب - a drink| مختلف - (of) varying| ألوانه - colors,| فيه - in it| شفاء - (is) a healing| للناس - for the mankind.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - (is) surely a Sign| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who reflect.| | ||||||
| 7 [30:21] | Wamin ayatihi an khalaqa lakummin anfusikum azwajan litaskunoo ilayha wajaAAalabaynakum mawaddatan warahmatan inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yatafakkaroona | ومن آياته أن خلق لكم من أنفسكم أزواجا لتسكنوا إليها وجعل بينكم مودة ورحمة إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| آياته - His Signs| أن - (is) that| خلق - He created| لكم - for you| من - from| أنفسكم - yourselves| أزواجا - mates| لتسكنوا - that you may find tranquility| إليها - in them;| وجعل - and He placed| بينكم - between you| مودة - love| ورحمة - and mercy.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) Signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who reflect.| | ||||||
| 8 [39:42] | Allahu yatawaffa al-anfusa heenamawtiha waallatee lam tamut fee manamihafayumsiku allatee qada AAalayha almawta wayursilual-okhra ila ajalin musamman inna fee thalikalaayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona | الله يتوفى الأنفس حين موتها والتي لم تمت في منامها فيمسك التي قضى عليها الموت ويرسل الأخرى إلى أجل مسمى إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِي قَضَى عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ الْأُخْرَى إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| يتوفى - takes| الأنفس - the souls| حين - (at the) time| موتها - (of) their death,| والتي - and the one who| لم - (does) not| تمت - die| في - in| منامها - their sleep.| فيمسك - Then He keeps| التي - the one whom,| قضى - He has decreed| عليها - for them| الموت - the death,| ويرسل - and sends| الأخرى - the others| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - specified.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who ponder.| | ||||||
| 9 [45:13] | Wasakhkhara lakum ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi jameeAAan minhu inna fee thalikalaayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona | وسخر لكم ما في السماوات وما في الأرض جميعا منه إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مِّنْهُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لَّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وسخر - And He has subjected| لكم - to you| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth -| جميعا - all| منه - from Him.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely are Signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who give thought.| | ||||||
| 10 [59:21] | Law anzalna hatha alqur-anaAAala jabalin laraaytahu khashiAAan mutasaddiAAanmin khashyati Allahi watilka al-amthalu nadribuhalilnnasi laAAallahum yatafakkaroona | لو أنزلنا هذا القرآن على جبل لرأيته خاشعا متصدعا من خشية الله وتلك الأمثال نضربها للناس لعلهم يتفكرون لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
