| 1 [2:102] | WaittabaAAoo ma tatloo alshshayateenuAAala mulki sulaymana wama kafara sulaymanuwalakinna alshshayateena kafarooyuAAallimoona alnnasa alssihra wamaonzila AAala almalakayni bibabila harootawamaroota wama yuAAallimani min ahadinhatta yaqoola innama nahnufitnatun fala takfur fayataAAallamoona minhuma mayufarriqoona bihi bayna almar-i wazawjihi wama hum bidarreenabihi min ahadin illa bi-ithni AllahiwayataAAallamoona ma yadurruhum walayanfaAAuhum walaqad AAalimoo lamani ishtarahu malahu fee al-akhirati min khalaqin walabi/sa masharaw bihi anfusahum law kanoo yaAAlamoona |  واتبعوا ما تتلو الشياطين على ملك سليمان وما كفر سليمان ولكن الشياطين كفروا يعلمون الناس السحر وما أنزل على الملكين ببابل هاروت وماروت وما يعلمان من أحد حتى يقولا إنما نحن فتنة فلا تكفر فيتعلمون منهما ما يفرقون به بين المرء وزوجه وما هم بضارين به من أحد إلا بإذن الله ويتعلمون ما يضرهم ولا ينفعهم ولقد علموا لمن اشتراه ما له في الآخرة من خلاق ولبئس ما شروا به أنفسهم لو كانوا يعلمونوَاتَّبَعُواْ مَا تَتْلُواْ الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَى مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَانَ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَلَـكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّى يَقُولاَ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلاَ تَكْفُرْ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلاَ يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُواْ لَمَنِ اشْتَرَاهُ مَا لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْاْ بِهِ أَنفُسَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واتبعوا - And they followed| ما - what| تتلو - recite(d)| الشياطين - the devils| على - over| ملك - (the) kingdom| سليمان - (of) Sulaiman.| وما - And not| كفر - disbelieved| سليمان - Sulaiman| ولكن - [and] but| الشياطين - the devils| كفروا - disbelieved,| يعلمون - they teach| الناس - the people| السحر - [the] magic| وما - and what| أنزل - was sent down| على - to| الملكين - the two angels| ببابل - in Babylon,| هاروت - Harut| وماروت - and Marut.| وما - And not| يعلمان - they both teach| من - any| أحد - one| حتى - unless| يقولا - they [both] say,| إنما - "Only| نحن - we| فتنة - (are) a trial,| فلا - so (do) not| تكفر - disbelieve."| فيتعلمون - But they learn| منهما - from those two| ما - what| يفرقون - [they] causes separation| به - with it| بين - between| المرء - the man| وزوجه - and his spouse.| وما - And not| هم - they (could)| بضارين - at all [be those who] harm| به - with it| من - any| أحد - one| إلا - except| بإذن - by permission| الله - (of) Allah.| ويتعلمون - And they learn| ما - what| يضرهم - harms them| ولا - and not| ينفعهم - profits them.| ولقد - And indeed| علموا - they knew| لمن - that whoever| اشتراه - buys it,| ما - not| له - for him| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| من - any| خلاق - share.| ولبئس - And surely evil| ما - (is) what| شروا - they sold| به - with it| أنفسهم - themselves,| لو - if| كانوا - they were| يعلمون - (to) know.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:174] | Fainqalaboo biniAAmatin mina Allahiwafadlin lam yamsas-hum soo-on waittabaAAoo ridwanaAllahi waAllahu thoo fadlinAAatheemin | فانقلبوا بنعمة من الله وفضل لم يمسسهم سوء واتبعوا رضوان الله والله ذو فضل عظيم فَانقَلَبُواْ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَفَضْلٍ لَّمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوءٌ وَاتَّبَعُواْ رِضْوَانَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |فانقلبوا - So they returned| بنعمة - with (the) Favor| من - of| الله - Allah| وفضل - and Bounty,| لم - not| يمسسهم - touched them| سوء - any harm.| واتبعوا - And they followed| رضوان - (the) pleasure| الله - (of) Allah,| والله - and Allah| ذو - (is) Possessor| فضل - (of) Bounty| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:157] | Allatheena yattabiAAoona alrrasoolaalnnabiyya al-ommiyya allathee yajidoonahumaktooban AAindahum fee alttawrati waal-injeeliya/muruhum bialmaAAroofi wayanhahum AAani almunkariwayuhillu lahumu alttayyibati wayuharrimuAAalayhimu alkhaba-itha wayadaAAu AAanhum israhumwaal-aghlala allatee kanat AAalayhim faallatheenaamanoo bihi waAAazzaroohu wanasaroohu waittabaAAooalnnoora allathee onzila maAAahu ola-ikahumu almuflihoona | الذين يتبعون الرسول النبي الأمي الذي يجدونه مكتوبا عندهم في التوراة والإنجيل يأمرهم بالمعروف وينهاهم عن المنكر ويحل لهم الطيبات ويحرم عليهم الخبائث ويضع عنهم إصرهم والأغلال التي كانت عليهم فالذين آمنوا به وعزروه ونصروه واتبعوا النور الذي أنزل معه أولئك هم المفلحون الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الرَّسُولَ النَّبِيَّ الْأُمِّيَّ الَّذِي يَجِدُونَهُ مَكْتُوبًا عِندَهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ يَأْمُرُهُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَاهُمْ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْخَبَآئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنْهُمْ إِصْرَهُمْ وَالْأَغْلاَلَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِهِ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَاتَّبَعُواْ النُّورَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ مَعَهُ أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يتبعون - follow| الرسول - the Messenger,| النبي - the Prophet,| الأمي - the unlettered,| الذي - whom| يجدونه - they find him| مكتوبا - written| عندهم - with them| في - in| التوراة - the Taurat| والإنجيل - and the Injeel.| يأمرهم - He commands them| بالمعروف - to the right| وينهاهم - and forbids them| عن - from| المنكر - the wrong,| ويحل - and he makes lawful| لهم - for them| الطيبات - the pure things| ويحرم - and makes unlawful| عليهم - for them| الخبائث - the impure things| ويضع - and he relieves| عنهم - from them| إصرهم - their burden| والأغلال - and the fetters| التي - which| كانت - were| عليهم - upon them.| فالذين - So those who| آمنوا - believe| به - in him| وعزروه - and honor him,| ونصروه - and help him| واتبعوا - and follow| النور - the light| الذي - which| أنزل - has been sent down| معه - with him -| أولئك - Those (are)| هم - [they]| المفلحون - the successful ones."| | ||||||
| 4 [11:59] | Watilka AAadun jahadoo bi-ayatirabbihim waAAasaw rusulahu waittabaAAoo amra kullijabbarin AAaneedin | وتلك عاد جحدوا بآيات ربهم وعصوا رسله واتبعوا أمر كل جبار عنيد وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ جَحَدُواْ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْاْ رُسُلَهُ وَاتَّبَعُواْ أَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And this| عاد - (was) Aad,| جحدوا - they rejected| بآيات - (the) Signs| ربهم - (of) their Lord| وعصوا - and disobeyed| رسله - His Messengers| واتبعوا - and followed| أمر - (the) command| كل - (of) every| جبار - tyrant| عنيد - obstinate.| | ||||||
| 5 [19:59] | Fakhalafa min baAAdihim khalfun adaAAooalssalata waittabaAAoo alshshahawatifasawfa yalqawna ghayyan | فخلف من بعدهم خلف أضاعوا الصلاة واتبعوا الشهوات فسوف يلقون غيا فَخَلَفَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَاتَّبَعُواْ الشَّهَوَاتِ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا | |||||
| Words | |فخلف - Then succeeded| من - after them| بعدهم - after them| خلف - successors,| أضاعوا - who neglected| الصلاة - the prayer| واتبعوا - and they followed| الشهوات - the lusts| فسوف - so soon,| يلقون - they will meet| غيا - evil| | ||||||
| 6 [39:55] | WaittabiAAoo ahsana maonzila ilaykum min rabbikum min qabli an ya/tiyakumu alAAathabubaghtatan waantum la tashAAuroona | واتبعوا أحسن ما أنزل إليكم من ربكم من قبل أن يأتيكم العذاب بغتة وأنتم لا تشعرون وَاتَّبِعُوا أَحْسَنَ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ العَذَابُ بَغْتَةً وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ | |||||

| 7 [40:7] | Allatheena yahmiloona alAAarshawaman hawlahu yusabbihoona bihamdi rabbihimwayu/minoona bihi wayastaghfiroona lillatheena amanoorabbana wasiAAta kulla shay-in rahmatan waAAilmanfaighfir lillatheena taboo waittabaAAoosabeelaka waqihim AAathaba aljaheemi | الذين يحملون العرش ومن حوله يسبحون بحمد ربهم ويؤمنون به ويستغفرون للذين آمنوا ربنا وسعت كل شيء رحمة وعلما فاغفر للذين تابوا واتبعوا سبيلك وقهم عذاب الجحيم الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يحملون - bear| العرش - the Throne| ومن - and who| حوله - (are) around it| يسبحون - glorify| بحمد - (the) praises| ربهم - (of) their Lord| ويؤمنون - and believe| به - in Him| ويستغفرون - and ask forgiveness| للذين - for those who| آمنوا - believe,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| وسعت - You encompass| كل - all| شيء - things| رحمة - (by Your) Mercy| وعلما - and knowledge,| فاغفر - so forgive| للذين - those who| تابوا - repent| واتبعوا - and follow| سبيلك - Your Way| وقهم - and save them (from)| عذاب - (the) punishment| الجحيم - (of) the Hellfire.| | ||||||
| 8 [47:14] | Afaman kana AAala bayyinatinmin rabbihi kaman zuyyina lahu soo-o AAamalihi waittabaAAooahwaahum | أفمن كان على بينة من ربه كمن زين له سوء عمله واتبعوا أهواءهم أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِ كَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Then is (he) who| كان - is| على - on| بينة - a clear proof| من - from| ربه - his Lord| كمن - like (he) who,| زين - is made attractive| له - to him| سوء - (the) evil| عمله - (of) his deeds| واتبعوا - while they follow| أهواءهم - their desires.| | ||||||
| 9 [47:16] | Waminhum man yastamiAAu ilayka hattaitha kharajoo min AAindika qaloo lillatheenaootoo alAAilma matha qala anifan ola-ikaallatheena tabaAAa Allahu AAalaquloobihim waittabaAAoo ahwaahum | ومنهم من يستمع إليك حتى إذا خرجوا من عندك قالوا للذين أوتوا العلم ماذا قال آنفا أولئك الذين طبع الله على قلوبهم واتبعوا أهواءهم وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّى إِذَا خَرَجُوا مِنْ عِندِكَ قَالُوا لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ مَاذَا قَالَ آنِفًا أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And among them| من - (are some) who| يستمع - listen| إليك - to you,| حتى - until| إذا - when| خرجوا - they depart| من - from| عندك - you,| قالوا - they say| للذين - to those who| أوتوا - were given| العلم - the knowledge,| ماذا - "What| قال - (has) he said| آنفا - just now?"| أولئك - Those -| الذين - (are) the ones| طبع - Allah has set a seal| الله - Allah has set a seal| على - upon| قلوبهم - their hearts| واتبعوا - and they follow| أهواءهم - their desires.| | ||||||
| 10 [54:3] | Wakaththaboo waittabaAAoo ahwaahumwakullu amrin mustaqirrun | وكذبوا واتبعوا أهواءهم وكل أمر مستقر وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ | |||||
| Words | |وكذبوا - And they denied| واتبعوا - and followed| أهواءهم - their desires,| وكل - but (for) every| أمر - matter| مستقر - (will be a) settlement.| | ||||||
| 11 [71:21] | Qala noohun rabbi innahum AAasawneewaittabaAAoo man lam yazidhu maluhu wawaladuhu illakhasaran | قال نوح رب إنهم عصوني واتبعوا من لم يزده ماله وولده إلا خسارا قَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِي وَاتَّبَعُوا مَن لَّمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ إِلَّا خَسَارًا | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| نوح - Nuh,| رب - "My Lord!| إنهم - Indeed, they| عصوني - disobeyed me| واتبعوا - and followed| من - (the one) who,| لم - (did) not| يزده - increase him| ماله - his wealth,| وولده - and his children| إلا - except| خسارا - (in) loss.| | ||||||
