| 1 [2:177] | Laysa albirra an tuwalloo wujoohakum qibalaalmashriqi waalmaghribi walakinna albirra man amanabiAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri waalmala-ikatiwaalkitabi waalnnabiyyeena waataalmala AAala hubbihi thawee alqurbawaalyatama waalmasakeena waibnaalssabeeli waalssa-ileena wafee alrriqabiwaaqama alssalata waataalzzakata waalmoofoona biAAahdihim ithaAAahadoo waalssabireena fee alba/sa-iwaalddarra-i waheena alba/si ola-ikaallatheena sadaqoo waola-ika humualmuttaqoona |  ليس البر أن تولوا وجوهكم قبل المشرق والمغرب ولكن البر من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر والملائكة والكتاب والنبيين وآتى المال على حبه ذوي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل والسائلين وفي الرقاب وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة والموفون بعهدهم إذا عاهدوا والصابرين في البأساء والضراء وحين البأس أولئك الذين صدقوا وأولئك هم المتقونلَّيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَـكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَالسَّآئِلِينَ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُواْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ فِي الْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَحِينَ الْبَأْسِ أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَأُولَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ليس - It is not| البر - [the] righteousness| أن - that| تولوا - you turn| وجوهكم - your faces| قبل - towards| المشرق - the east| والمغرب - and the west,| ولكن - [and] but| البر - the righteous[ness]| من - (is he) who| آمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last,| والملائكة - and the Angels,| والكتاب - and the Book,| والنبيين - and the Prophets,| وآتى - and gives| المال - the wealth| على - in| حبه - spite of his love (for it)| ذوي - (to) those| القربى - (of) the near relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans,| والمساكين - and the needy,| وابن - and (of)| السبيل - the wayfarer,| والسائلين - and those who ask,| وفي - and in| الرقاب - freeing the necks (slaves)| وأقام - and (who) establish| الصلاة - the prayer,| وآتى - and give| الزكاة - the zakah,| والموفون - and those who fulfill| بعهدهم - their covenant| إذا - when| عاهدوا - they make it;| والصابرين - and those who are patient| في - in| البأساء - [the] suffering| والضراء - and [the] hardship,| وحين - and (the) time| البأس - (of) [the] stress.| أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who| صدقوا - are true| وأولئك - and those,| هم - [they]| المتقون - (are) the righteous.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:215] | Yas-aloonaka matha yunfiqoona qul maanfaqtum min khayrin falilwalidayni waal-aqrabeenawaalyatama waalmasakeeni waibnialssabeeli wama tafAAaloo min khayrin fa-inna Allahabihi AAaleemun | يسألونك ماذا ينفقون قل ما أنفقتم من خير فللوالدين والأقربين واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل وما تفعلوا من خير فإن الله به عليم يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلْ مَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالأَقْرَبِينَ وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| ماذا - what| ينفقون - they (should) spend.| قل - Say,| ما - "Whatever| أنفقتم - you spend| من - of| خير - good,| فللوالدين - (is) for parents,| والأقربين - and the relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans,| والمساكين - and the needy,| وابن - and (of)| السبيل - the wayfarer.| وما - And whatever| تفعلوا - you do| من - of| خير - good.| فإن - So indeed,| الله - Allah| به - of it| عليم - (is) All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:36] | WaoAAbudoo Allaha walatushrikoo bihi shay-an wabialwalidayni ihsananwabithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeniwaaljari thee alqurba waaljarialjunubi waalssahibi bialjanbi waibnialssabeeli wama malakat aymanukum inna Allahala yuhibbu man kana mukhtalan fakhooran | واعبدوا الله ولا تشركوا به شيئا وبالوالدين إحسانا وبذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين والجار ذي القربى والجار الجنب والصاحب بالجنب وابن السبيل وما ملكت أيمانكم إن الله لا يحب من كان مختالا فخورا وَاعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ وَلاَ تُشْرِكُواْ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَبِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْجَارِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْجَارِ الْجُنُبِ وَالصَّاحِبِ بِالْجَنْبِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالاً فَخُورًا | |||||
| Words | |واعبدوا - And worship| الله - Allah| ولا - And (do) not| تشركوا - associate| به - with Him| شيئا - anything,| وبالوالدين - and to the parents| إحسانا - (do) good,| وبذي - and with| القربى - the relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans,| والمساكين - and the needy| والجار - and the neighbor| ذي - (who is)| القربى - near,| والجار - and the neighbor| الجنب - (who is) farther away,| والصاحب - and the companion| بالجنب - by your side| وابن - and the| السبيل - traveler| وما - and what| ملكت - possess[ed]| أيمانكم - your right hands.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| من - (the one) who| كان - is| مختالا - [a] proud| فخورا - (and) [a] boastful.| | ||||||
| 4 [8:41] | WaiAAlamoo annama ghanimtummin shay-in faanna lillahi khumusahu walilrrasooliwalithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeniwaibni alssabeeli in kuntum amantum biAllahiwama anzalna AAala AAabdina yawmaalfurqani yawma iltaqa aljamAAani waAllahuAAala kulli shay-in qadeerun | واعلموا أنما غنمتم من شيء فأن لله خمسه وللرسول ولذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل إن كنتم آمنتم بالله وما أنزلنا على عبدنا يوم الفرقان يوم التقى الجمعان والله على كل شيء قدير وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ إِن كُنتُمْ آمَنتُمْ بِاللّهِ وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ الْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |واعلموا - And know| أنما - that what| غنمتم - you obtain (as) spoils of war| من - of| شيء - anything,| فأن - then that,| لله - for Allah| خمسه - (is) one fifth of it| وللرسول - and for the Messenger| ولذي - and for the| القربى - near relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans| والمساكين - and the needy| وابن - and the| السبيل - wayfarer,| إن - if| كنتم - you| آمنتم - believe| بالله - in Allah,| وما - and (in) what| أنزلنا - We sent down| على - to| عبدنا - Our slave| يوم - (on the) day| الفرقان - (of) the criterion,| يوم - (the) day| التقى - (when) met| الجمعان - the two forces.| والله - And Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 5 [9:60] | Innama alssadaqatulilfuqara-i waalmasakeeni waalAAamileenaAAalayha waalmu-allafati quloobuhum wafee alrriqabiwaalgharimeena wafee sabeeli Allahi waibnialssabeeli fareedatan mina Allahi waAllahuAAaleemun hakeemun | إنما الصدقات للفقراء والمساكين والعاملين عليها والمؤلفة قلوبهم وفي الرقاب والغارمين وفي سبيل الله وابن السبيل فريضة من الله والله عليم حكيم إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| الصدقات - the charities| للفقراء - (are) for the poor,| والمساكين - and the needy| والعاملين - and those who collect| عليها - them,| والمؤلفة - and the ones inclined| قلوبهم - their hearts,| وفي - and in| الرقاب - the (freeing of) the necks,| والغارمين - and for those in debt| وفي - and in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| وابن - and the wayfarer -| السبيل - and the wayfarer -| فريضة - an obligation| من - from| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knowing,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 6 [17:26] | Waati tha alqurba haqqahuwaalmiskeena waibna alssabeeli walatubaththir tabtheeran | وآت ذا القربى حقه والمسكين وابن السبيل ولا تبذر تبذيرا وَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَلاَ تُبَذِّرْ تَبْذِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وآت - And give| ذا - the relatives| القربى - the relatives| حقه - his right,| والمسكين - and the needy,| وابن - and the wayfarer,| السبيل - and the wayfarer,| ولا - and (do) not| تبذر - spend| تبذيرا - wastefully.| | ||||||
| 7 [30:38] | Faati tha alqurba haqqahuwaalmiskeena waibna alssabeeli thalikakhayrun lillatheena yureedoona wajha Allahi waola-ikahumu almuflihoona | فآت ذا القربى حقه والمسكين وابن السبيل ذلك خير للذين يريدون وجه الله وأولئك هم المفلحون فَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فآت - So give| ذا - the relative| القربى - the relative| حقه - his right| والمسكين - and the poor| وابن - and the wayfarer.| السبيل - and the wayfarer.| ذلك - That| خير - (is) best| للذين - for those who| يريدون - desire| وجه - (the) Countenance| الله - (of) Allah.| وأولئك - And those,| هم - they| المفلحون - (are) the successful ones.| | ||||||
| 8 [59:7] | Ma afaa Allahu AAalarasoolihi min ahli alqura falillahi walilrrasooliwalithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeniwaibni alssabeeli kay la yakoona doolatanbayna al-aghniya-i minkum wama atakumualrrasoolu fakhuthoohu wama nahakumAAanhu faintahoo waittaqoo Allaha inna Allahashadeedu alAAiqabi | ما أفاء الله على رسوله من أهل القرى فلله وللرسول ولذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل كي لا يكون دولة بين الأغنياء منكم وما آتاكم الرسول فخذوه وما نهاكم عنه فانتهوا واتقوا الله إن الله شديد العقاب مَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى فَلِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ كَيْ لَا يَكُونَ دُولَةً بَيْنَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ مِنكُمْ وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |ما - What| أفاء - (was) restored| الله - (by) Allah| على - to| رسوله - His Messenger| من - from| أهل - (the) people| القرى - (of) the towns,| فلله - (it is) for Allah| وللرسول - and His Messenger| ولذي - and for those| القربى - (of) the kindred| واليتامى - and the orphans| والمساكين - and the needy| وابن - and| السبيل - the wayfarer,| كي - that| لا - not| يكون - it becomes| دولة - a (perpetual) circulation| بين - between| الأغنياء - the rich| منكم - among you.| وما - And whatever| آتاكم - gives you| الرسول - the Messenger,| فخذوه - take it| وما - and whatever| نهاكم - he forbids you| عنه - from it,| فانتهوا - refrain.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) penalty.| | ||||||
