| 1 [3:151] | Sanulqee fee quloobi allatheenakafaroo alrruAAba bima ashrakoo biAllahima lam yunazzil bihi sultanan wama/wahumu alnnaruwabi/sa mathwa alththalimeena |  سنلقي في قلوب الذين كفروا الرعب بما أشركوا بالله ما لم ينزل به سلطانا ومأواهم النار وبئس مثوى الظالمينسَنُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الرُّعْبَ بِمَا أَشْرَكُواْ بِاللّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |سنلقي - We will cast| في - in| قلوب - (the) hearts| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieve| الرعب - [the] terror| بما - because| أشركوا - they associated partners| بالله - with Allah,| ما - what| لم - not| ينزل - He sent down| به - about it| سلطانا - any authority,| ومأواهم - and their refuge| النار - (will be) the Fire| وبئس - and wretched| مثوى - (is the) abode| الظالمين - [of] the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:101] | Tilka alqura naqussu AAalaykamin anba-iha walaqad jaat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinatifama kanoo liyu/minoo bima kaththaboomin qablu kathalika yatbaAAu Allahu AAalaquloobi alkafireena | تلك القرى نقص عليك من أنبائها ولقد جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فما كانوا ليؤمنوا بما كذبوا من قبل كذلك يطبع الله على قلوب الكافرين تِلْكَ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَآئِهَا وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |تلك - These| القرى - (were) the cities -| نقص - We relate| عليك - to you| من - of| أنبائها - their news.| ولقد - And certainly| جاءتهم - came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs,| فما - but not| كانوا - they were| ليؤمنوا - to believe| بما - in what| كذبوا - they (had) denied| من - from| قبل - before.| كذلك - Thus| يطبع - (has been) put a seal| الله - (by) Allah| على - on| قلوب - (the) hearts| الكافرين - (of) the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:179] | Walaqad thara/na lijahannamakatheeran mina aljinni waal-insi lahum quloobun layafqahoona biha walahum aAAyunun la yubsiroonabiha walahum athanun la yasmaAAoona bihaola-ika kaal-anAAami bal hum adalluola-ika humu alghafiloona | ولقد ذرأنا لجهنم كثيرا من الجن والإنس لهم قلوب لا يفقهون بها ولهم أعين لا يبصرون بها ولهم آذان لا يسمعون بها أولئك كالأنعام بل هم أضل أولئك هم الغافلون وَلَقَدْ ذَرَأْنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ لاَّ يَفْقَهُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ لاَّ يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ آذَانٌ لاَّ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| ذرأنا - We have created| لجهنم - for Hell| كثيرا - many| من - of| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and men.| لهم - For them| قلوب - (are) hearts| لا - (but) not| يفقهون - they understand| بها - with them,| ولهم - and for them| أعين - (are) eyes| لا - (but) not| يبصرون - they see| بها - with them,| ولهم - and for them| آذان - (are) ears| لا - (but) not| يسمعون - they hear| بها - with them.| أولئك - Those| كالأنعام - (are) like cattle,| بل - nay| هم - they| أضل - (are) more astray.| أولئك - Those -| هم - they| الغافلون - (are) the heedless.| | ||||||
| 4 [8:12] | Ith yoohee rabbuka ilaalmala-ikati annee maAAakum fathabbitoo allatheena amanoosaolqee fee quloobi allatheena kafaroo alrruAAba faidriboofawqa al-aAAnaqi waidriboo minhum kulla bananin | إذ يوحي ربك إلى الملائكة أني معكم فثبتوا الذين آمنوا سألقي في قلوب الذين كفروا الرعب فاضربوا فوق الأعناق واضربوا منهم كل بنان إِذْ يُوحِي رَبُّكَ إِلَى الْمَلآئِكَةِ أَنِّي مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُواْ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ سَأُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الرَّعْبَ فَاضْرِبُواْ فَوْقَ الْأَعْنَاقِ وَاضْرِبُواْ مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| يوحي - inspired| ربك - your Lord| إلى - to| الملائكة - the Angels,| أني - "I am| معكم - with you,| فثبتوا - so strengthen| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed.| سألقي - I will cast| في - in| قلوب - (the) hearts| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved -| الرعب - the terror,| فاضربوا - so strike| فوق - above| الأعناق - the necks| واضربوا - and strike| منهم - from them| كل - every| بنان - fingertip[s]."| | ||||||
| 5 [9:117] | Laqad taba Allahu AAalaalnnabiyyi waalmuhajireena waal-ansariallatheena ittabaAAoohu fee saAAati alAAusrati minbaAAdi ma kada yazeeghu quloobu fareeqin minhumthumma taba AAalayhim innahu bihim raoofun raheemun | لقد تاب الله على النبي والمهاجرين والأنصار الذين اتبعوه في ساعة العسرة من بعد ما كاد يزيغ قلوب فريق منهم ثم تاب عليهم إنه بهم رءوف رحيم لَقَد تَّابَ الله عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنصَارِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ فِي سَاعَةِ الْعُسْرَةِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيقٍ مِّنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّهُ بِهِمْ رَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Verily,| تاب - Allah turned (in mercy)| الله - Allah turned (in mercy)| على - to| النبي - the Prophet,| والمهاجرين - and the emigrants,| والأنصار - and the helpers| الذين - [those] who| اتبعوه - followed him,| في - in| ساعة - (the) hour| العسرة - (of) difficulty| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| كاد - had nearly| يزيغ - deviated| قلوب - (the) hearts| فريق - (of) a party| منهم - of them,| ثم - then| تاب - He turned (in mercy)| عليهم - to them.| إنه - Indeed, He| بهم - to them| رءوف - (is) Most Kind,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 6 [10:74] | Thumma baAAathna min baAAdihi rusulanila qawmihim fajaoohum bialbayyinatifama kanoo liyu/minoo bima kaththaboobihi min qablu kathalika natbaAAu AAalaquloobi almuAAtadeena | ثم بعثنا من بعده رسلا إلى قومهم فجاءوهم بالبينات فما كانوا ليؤمنوا بما كذبوا به من قبل كذلك نطبع على قلوب المعتدين ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ رُسُلاً إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآؤُوهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ بِهِ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَى قُلوبِ الْمُعْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| بعثنا - We sent| من - after him| بعده - after him| رسلا - Messengers| إلى - to| قومهم - their people,| فجاءوهم - and they came to them| بالبينات - with clear proofs.| فما - But not| كانوا - they were| ليؤمنوا - to believe| بما - what| كذبوا - they had denied| به - [it]| من - before.| قبل - before.| كذلك - Thus| نطبع - We seal| على - [on]| قلوب - the hearts| المعتدين - (of) the transgressors.| | ||||||
| 7 [15:12] | Kathalika naslukuhu fee quloobialmujrimeena | كذلك نسلكه في قلوب المجرمين كَذَلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||

| 8 [22:46] | Afalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fatakoonalahum quloobun yaAAqiloona biha aw athanunyasmaAAoona biha fa-innaha la taAAmaal-absaru walakin taAAma alquloobu allateefee alssudoori | أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فتكون لهم قلوب يعقلون بها أو آذان يسمعون بها فإنها لا تعمى الأبصار ولكن تعمى القلوب التي في الصدور أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَا أَوْ آذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الْأَبْصَارُ وَلَكِن تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ | |||||

| 9 [26:200] | Kathalika salaknahu feequloobi almujrimeena | كذلك سلكناه في قلوب المجرمين كَذَلِكَ سَلَكْنَاهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||

| 11 [39:45] | Wa-itha thukira Allahuwahdahu ishmaazzat quloobu allatheena layu/minoona bial-akhirati wa-itha thukiraallatheena min doonihi itha hum yastabshiroona | وإذا ذكر الله وحده اشمأزت قلوب الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة وإذا ذكر الذين من دونه إذا هم يستبشرون وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ اشْمَأَزَّتْ قُلُوبُ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ الَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ | |||||

| 12 [47:24] | Afala yatadabbaroona alqur-anaam AAala quloobin aqfaluha | أفلا يتدبرون القرآن أم على قلوب أقفالها أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَى قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَا | |||||
| Words | |أفلا - Then do not| يتدبرون - they ponder| القرآن - (over) the Quran| أم - or| على - upon| قلوب - (their) hearts| أقفالها - (are) locks?| | ||||||
| 13 [48:4] | Huwa allathee anzala alssakeenatafee quloobi almu/mineena liyazdadoo eemanan maAAaeemanihim walillahi junoodu alssamawatiwaal-ardi wakana Allahu AAaleeman hakeeman | هو الذي أنزل السكينة في قلوب المؤمنين ليزدادوا إيمانا مع إيمانهم ولله جنود السماوات والأرض وكان الله عليما حكيما هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيْمَانًا مَّعَ إِيْمَانِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| أنزل - sent down| السكينة - [the] tranquility| في - in(to)| قلوب - (the) hearts| المؤمنين - (of) the believers| ليزدادوا - that they may increase| إيمانا - (in) faith| مع - with| إيمانهم - their faith.| ولله - And for Allah| جنود - (are the) hosts| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| وكان - and Allah| الله - and Allah| عليما - (is) All-Knower,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 14 [57:27] | Thumma qaffayna AAala atharihimbirusulina waqaffayna biAAeesa ibni maryamawaataynahu al-injeela wajaAAalna fee quloobiallatheena ittabaAAoohu ra/fatan warahmatan warahbaniyyatanibtadaAAooha ma katabnaha AAalayhimilla ibtighaa ridwani Allahifama raAAawha haqqa riAAayatihafaatayna allatheena amanoo minhumajrahum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona | ثم قفينا على آثارهم برسلنا وقفينا بعيسى ابن مريم وآتيناه الإنجيل وجعلنا في قلوب الذين اتبعوه رأفة ورحمة ورهبانية ابتدعوها ما كتبناها عليهم إلا ابتغاء رضوان الله فما رعوها حق رعايتها فآتينا الذين آمنوا منهم أجرهم وكثير منهم فاسقون ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِم بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنجِيلَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ رَأْفَةً وَرَحْمَةً وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ابْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ رِضْوَانِ اللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا فَآتَيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| قفينا - We sent| على - on| آثارهم - their footsteps| برسلنا - Our Messengers| وقفينا - and We followed| بعيسى - with Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| وآتيناه - and We gave him| الإنجيل - the Injeel.| وجعلنا - And We placed| في - in| قلوب - (the) hearts| الذين - (of) those who| اتبعوه - followed him| رأفة - compassion| ورحمة - and mercy.| ورهبانية - But monasticism| ابتدعوها - they innovated -| ما - not| كتبناها - We prescribed it| عليهم - for them -| إلا - only| ابتغاء - seeking| رضوان - (the) pleasure| الله - (of) Allah,| فما - but not| رعوها - they observed it| حق - (with) right| رعايتها - observance.| فآتينا - So We gave| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed| منهم - among them| أجرهم - their reward,| وكثير - but most| منهم - of them| فاسقون - (are) defiantly disobediently.| | ||||||
| 15 [79:8] | Quloobun yawma-ithin wajifatun | قلوب يومئذ واجفة قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ | |||||
