| 1 [2:74] | Thumma qasat quloobukum min baAAdi thalikafahiya kaalhijarati aw ashaddu qaswatanwa-inna mina alhijarati lama yatafajjaruminhu al-anharu wa-inna minha lamayashshaqqaqu fayakhruju minhu almao wa-inna minhalama yahbitu min khashyati Allahi wamaAllahu bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona |  ثم قست قلوبكم من بعد ذلك فهي كالحجارة أو أشد قسوة وإن من الحجارة لما يتفجر منه الأنهار وإن منها لما يشقق فيخرج منه الماء وإن منها لما يهبط من خشية الله وما الله بغافل عما تعملونثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوبُكُم مِّنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَهِيَ كَالْحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ قَسْوَةً وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الأَنْهَارُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الْمَاءُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللّهِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| قست - hardened| قلوبكم - your hearts| من - from| بعد - after| ذلك - that| فهي - so they| كالحجارة - (became) like [the] stones| أو - or| أشد - stronger| قسوة - (in) hardness.| وإن - And indeed,| من - from| الحجارة - the stones| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يتفجر - gush forth| منه - from it| الأنهار - [the] rivers,| وإن - and indeed,| منها - from them| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يشقق - split,| فيخرج - so comes out| منه - from it| الماء - [the] water,| وإن - and indeed,| منها - from them| لما - certainly (there are some) which| يهبط - fall down| من - from| خشية - fear| الله - (of) Allah.| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:225] | La yu-akhithukumu Allahubiallaghwi fee aymanikum walakin yu-akhithukumbima kasabat quloobukum waAllahu ghafoorun haleemun | لا يؤاخذكم الله باللغو في أيمانكم ولكن يؤاخذكم بما كسبت قلوبكم والله غفور حليم لاَّ يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |لا - Not| يؤاخذكم - will take you to task| الله - Allah| باللغو - for (what is) unintentional| في - in| أيمانكم - your oaths,| ولكن - [and] but| يؤاخذكم - He takes you to task| بما - for what| كسبت - (have) earned| قلوبكم - your hearts.| والله - And Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| حليم - Most Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:103] | WaiAAtasimoo bihabliAllahi jameeAAan wala tafarraqoo waothkurooniAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith kuntum aAAdaanfaallafa bayna quloobikum faasbahtum biniAAmatihiikhwanan wakuntum AAala shafa hufratinmina alnnari faanqathakum minha kathalikayubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakumtahtadoona | واعتصموا بحبل الله جميعا ولا تفرقوا واذكروا نعمت الله عليكم إذ كنتم أعداء فألف بين قلوبكم فأصبحتم بنعمته إخوانا وكنتم على شفا حفرة من النار فأنقذكم منها كذلك يبين الله لكم آياته لعلكم تهتدون وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واعتصموا - And hold firmly| بحبل - to (the) rope| الله - (of) Allah| جميعا - all together| ولا - and (do) not| تفرقوا - be divided.| واذكروا - And remember| نعمت - (the) Favor| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - on you| إذ - when| كنتم - you were| أعداء - enemies| فألف - then He made friendship| بين - between| قلوبكم - your hearts| فأصبحتم - then you became| بنعمته - by His Favor| إخوانا - brothers.| وكنتم - And you were| على - on| شفا - (the) brink| حفرة - (of) pit| من - of| النار - the Fire| فأنقذكم - then He saved you| منها - from it.| كذلك - Thus| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| لكم - for you| آياته - His Verses| لعلكم - so that you may| تهتدون - (be) guided.| | ||||||
| 4 [3:126] | Wama jaAAalahu Allahu illabushra lakum walitatma-inna quloobukum bihi wamaalnnasru illa min AAindi AllahialAAazeezi alhakeemi | وما جعله الله إلا بشرى لكم ولتطمئن قلوبكم به وما النصر إلا من عند الله العزيز الحكيم وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللّهُ إِلاَّ بُشْرَى لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُكُم بِهِ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلاَّ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| جعله - made it| الله - Allah| إلا - except| بشرى - (as) good news| لكم - for you| ولتطمئن - and to reassure| قلوبكم - your hearts| به - with it.| وما - And (there is) no| النصر - [the] victory| إلا - except| من - from| عند - [near]| الله - Allah,| العزيز - the All-Mighty,| الحكيم - the All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 5 [3:154] | Thumma anzala AAalaykum min baAAdi alghammiamanatan nuAAasan yaghsha ta-ifatan minkumwata-ifatun qad ahammat-hum anfusuhum yathunnoonabiAllahi ghayra alhaqqi thannaaljahiliyyati yaqooloona hal lana mina al-amri minshay-in qul inna al-amra kullahu lillahi yukhfoona feeanfusihim ma la yubdoona laka yaqooloona law kanalana mina al-amri shay-on ma qutilna hahunaqul law kuntum fee buyootikum labaraza allatheena kutibaAAalayhimu alqatlu ila madajiAAihim waliyabtaliyaAllahu ma fee sudoorikum waliyumahhisama fee quloobikum waAllahu AAaleemun bithatialssudoori | ثم أنزل عليكم من بعد الغم أمنة نعاسا يغشى طائفة منكم وطائفة قد أهمتهم أنفسهم يظنون بالله غير الحق ظن الجاهلية يقولون هل لنا من الأمر من شيء قل إن الأمر كله لله يخفون في أنفسهم ما لا يبدون لك يقولون لو كان لنا من الأمر شيء ما قتلنا هاهنا قل لو كنتم في بيوتكم لبرز الذين كتب عليهم القتل إلى مضاجعهم وليبتلي الله ما في صدوركم وليمحص ما في قلوبكم والله عليم بذات الصدور ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً نُّعَاسًا يَغْشَى طَآئِفَةً مِّنكُمْ وَطَآئِفَةٌ قَدْ أَهَمَّتْهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ بِاللّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَقُولُونَ هَل لَّنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ مِن شَيْءٍ قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلَّهِ يُخْفُونَ فِي أَنفُسِهِم مَّا لاَ يُبْدُونَ لَكَ يَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ مَّا قُتِلْنَا هَاهُنَا قُل لَّوْ كُنتُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذِينَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ إِلَى مَضَاجِعِهِمْ وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ اللّهُ مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِيُمَحِّصَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| أنزل - He sent down| عليكم - upon you| من - from| بعد - after| الغم - the distress| أمنة - security -| نعاسا - slumber| يغشى - overcoming| طائفة - a group| منكم - of you,| وطائفة - while a group| قد - certainly| أهمتهم - worried [them]| أنفسهم - (about) themselves| يظنون - thinking| بالله - about Allah| غير - other than| الحق - the truth -| ظن - (the) thought| الجاهلية - (of) [the] ignorance.| يقولون - saying,| هل - "Is (there)| لنا - for us| من - from| الأمر - the matter| من - any| شيء - thing?"| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed| الأمر - the matter| كله - all (of) it| لله - (is) for Allah."| يخفون - They hide| في - in| أنفسهم - themselves| ما - what| لا - not| يبدون - they reveal| لك - to you,| يقولون - They say,| لو - "If| كان - was| لنا - for us| من - from| الأمر - the matter| شيء - anything| ما - not| قتلنا - we would have been killed| هاهنا - here."| قل - Say,| لو - "If| كنتم - you were| في - in| بيوتكم - your houses,| لبرز - surely (would have) come out| الذين - those who -| كتب - was decreed| عليهم - upon them| القتل - [the] death| إلى - towards| مضاجعهم - their places of death.| وليبتلي - And that might test| الله - Allah| ما - what| في - (is) in| صدوركم - your breasts| وليمحص - and that He may purge| ما - what| في - (is) in| قلوبكم - your hearts.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Aware| بذات - of what| الصدور - (is in) the breasts.| | ||||||
| 6 [6:46] | Qul araaytum in akhatha AllahusamAAakum waabsarakum wakhatama AAala quloobikumman ilahun ghayru Allahi ya/teekum bihi onthurkayfa nusarrifu al-ayati thumma hum yasdifoona | قل أرأيتم إن أخذ الله سمعكم وأبصاركم وختم على قلوبكم من إله غير الله يأتيكم به انظر كيف نصرف الآيات ثم هم يصدفون قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ سَمْعَكُمْ وَأَبْصَارَكُمْ وَخَتَمَ عَلَى قُلُوبِكُم مَّنْ إِلَـهٌ غَيْرُ اللّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِهِ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ ثُمَّ هُمْ يَصْدِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أرأيتم - "Have you seen| إن - if| أخذ - took away| الله - Allah| سمعكم - your hearing| وأبصاركم - and your sight| وختم - and sealed| على - [on]| قلوبكم - your hearts,| من - who| إله - (is the) god| غير - other than| الله - Allah| يأتيكم - to bring [back] to you| به - with it?| انظر - See| كيف - how| نصرف - We explain| الآيات - the Signs;| ثم - yet| هم - they| يصدفون - turn away."| | ||||||
| 7 [8:10] | Wama jaAAalahu Allahu illabushra walitatma-inna bihi quloobukum wama alnnasruilla min AAindi Allahi inna Allaha AAazeezunhakeemun | وما جعله الله إلا بشرى ولتطمئن به قلوبكم وما النصر إلا من عند الله إن الله عزيز حكيم وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللّهُ إِلاَّ بُشْرَى وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلاَّ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| جعله - (it was) made| الله - (by) Allah| إلا - but| بشرى - good tidings| ولتطمئن - and so that might be at rest| به - with it| قلوبكم - your hearts.| وما - And (there is) no| النصر - [the] victory| إلا - except| من - from| عند - [of]| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 8 [8:11] | Ith yughashsheekumu alnnuAAasaamanatan minhu wayunazzilu AAalaykum mina alssama-imaan liyutahhirakum bihi wayuthhiba AAankumrijza alshshaytani waliyarbita AAalaquloobikum wayuthabbita bihi al-aqdama | إذ يغشيكم النعاس أمنة منه وينزل عليكم من السماء ماء ليطهركم به ويذهب عنكم رجز الشيطان وليربط على قلوبكم ويثبت به الأقدام إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ النُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّن السَّمَاءِ مَاءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْأَقْدَامَ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| يغشيكم - He covered you| النعاس - with [the] slumber,| أمنة - a security| منه - from Him,| وينزل - and sent down| عليكم - upon you| من - from| السماء - the sky| ماء - water,| ليطهركم - so that He may purify you| به - with it,| ويذهب - and take away| عنكم - from you| رجز - evil (suggestions)| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan.| وليربط - And to strengthen| على - [on]| قلوبكم - your hearts| ويثبت - and make firm| به - with it| الأقدام - your feet.| | ||||||
| 9 [8:70] | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyuqul liman fee aydeekum mina al-asra in yaAAlami Allahufee quloobikum khayran yu/tikum khayran mimma okhithaminkum wayaghfir lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun | يا أيها النبي قل لمن في أيديكم من الأسرى إن يعلم الله في قلوبكم خيرا يؤتكم خيرا مما أخذ منكم ويغفر لكم والله غفور رحيم يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّمَن فِي أَيْدِيكُم مِّنَ الْأَسْرَى إِن يَعْلَمِ اللّهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ خَيْرًا يُؤْتِكُمْ خَيْرًا مِّمَّا أُخِذَ مِنكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||

| 10 [33:5] | OdAAoohum li-aba-ihim huwa aqsatuAAinda Allahi fa-in lam taAAlamoo abaahumfa-ikhwanukum fee alddeeni wamawaleekumwalaysa AAalaykum junahun feema akhta/tumbihi walakin ma taAAammadat quloobukum wakanaAllahu ghafooran raheeman | ادعوهم لآبائهم هو أقسط عند الله فإن لم تعلموا آباءهم فإخوانكم في الدين ومواليكم وليس عليكم جناح فيما أخطأتم به ولكن ما تعمدت قلوبكم وكان الله غفورا رحيما ادْعُوهُمْ لِآبَائِهِمْ هُوَ أَقْسَطُ عِندَ اللَّهِ فَإِن لَّمْ تَعْلَمُوا آبَاءَهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَمَوَالِيكُمْ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا أَخْطَأْتُم بِهِ وَلَكِن مَّا تَعَمَّدَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ادعوهم - Call them| لآبائهم - by their fathers;| هو - it| أقسط - (is) more just| عند - near| الله - Allah.| فإن - But if| لم - not| تعلموا - you know| آباءهم - their fathers -| فإخوانكم - then (they are) your brothers| في - in| الدين - [the] religion| ومواليكم - and your friends.| وليس - But not is| عليكم - upon you| جناح - any blame| فيما - in what| أخطأتم - you made a mistake| به - in it,| ولكن - but| ما - what| تعمدت - intended| قلوبكم - your hearts.| وكان - And Allah| الله - And Allah| غفورا - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 11 [33:51] | Turjee man tashao minhunna watu/weeilayka man tashao wamani ibtaghayta mimman AAazalta falajunaha AAalayka thalika adna an taqarraaAAyunuhunna wala yahzanna wayardayna bimaataytahunna kulluhunna waAllahu yaAAlamu mafee quloobikum wakana Allahu AAaleeman haleeman | ترجي من تشاء منهن وتؤوي إليك من تشاء ومن ابتغيت ممن عزلت فلا جناح عليك ذلك أدنى أن تقر أعينهن ولا يحزن ويرضين بما آتيتهن كلهن والله يعلم ما في قلوبكم وكان الله عليما حليما تُرْجِي مَن تَشَاءُُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَمَنِ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن تَقَرَّ أَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَا آتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ترجي - You may defer| من - whom| تشاء - you will| منهن - of them| وتؤوي - or you may take| إليك - to yourself| من - whom| تشاء - you will.| ومن - And whoever| ابتغيت - you desire| ممن - of those whom| عزلت - you (had) set aside -| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليك - upon you.| ذلك - That| أدنى - (is) more suitable| أن - that| تقر - may be cooled| أعينهن - their eyes| ولا - and not| يحزن - they grieve| ويرضين - and they may be pleased| بما - with what| آتيتهن - you have given them -| كلهن - all of them.| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| ما - what| في - (is) in| قلوبكم - your hearts.| وكان - And Allah is| الله - And Allah is| عليما - All-Knower,| حليما - Most Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 12 [48:12] | Bal thanantum an lan yanqalibaalrrasoolu waalmu/minoona ila ahleehimabadan wazuyyina thalika fee quloobikum wathanantumthanna alssaw-i wakuntum qawman booran | بل ظننتم أن لن ينقلب الرسول والمؤمنون إلى أهليهم أبدا وزين ذلك في قلوبكم وظننتم ظن السوء وكنتم قوما بورا بَلْ ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَنقَلِبَ الرَّسُولُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَى أَهْلِيهِمْ أَبَدًا وَزُيِّنَ ذَلِكَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَظَنَنتُمْ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا بُورًا | |||||
| Words | |بل - Nay,| ظننتم - you thought| أن - that| لن - (would) never| ينقلب - return| الرسول - the Messenger| والمؤمنون - and the believers| إلى - to| أهليهم - their families| أبدا - ever,| وزين - that was made fair-seeming| ذلك - that was made fair-seeming| في - in| قلوبكم - your hearts.| وظننتم - And you assumed| ظن - an assumption| السوء - evil,| وكنتم - and you became| قوما - a people| بورا - ruined."| | ||||||
| 13 [49:7] | WaiAAlamoo anna feekum rasoola Allahilaw yuteeAAukum fee katheerin mina al-amri laAAanittum walakinnaAllaha habbaba ilaykumu al-eemanawazayyanahu fee quloobikum wakarraha ilaykumu alkufra waalfusooqawaalAAisyana ola-ika humu alrrashidoona | واعلموا أن فيكم رسول الله لو يطيعكم في كثير من الأمر لعنتم ولكن الله حبب إليكم الإيمان وزينه في قلوبكم وكره إليكم الكفر والفسوق والعصيان أولئك هم الراشدون وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْإِيْمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الرَّاشِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واعلموا - And know| أن - that| فيكم - among you| رسول - (is the) Messenger of Allah.| الله - (is the) Messenger of Allah.| لو - If| يطيعكم - he were to obey you| في - in| كثير - much| من - of| الأمر - the matter,| لعنتم - surely you would be in difficulty,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| حبب - has endeared| إليكم - to you| الإيمان - the Faith| وزينه - and has made it pleasing| في - in| قلوبكم - your hearts| وكره - and has made hateful| إليكم - to you| الكفر - disbelief| والفسوق - and defiance| والعصيان - and disobedience.| أولئك - Those| هم - (are) they -| الراشدون - the guided ones.| | ||||||
| 14 [49:14] | Qalati al-aAArabu amannaqul lam tu/minoo walakin qooloo aslamna walammayadkhuli al-eemanu fee quloobikum wa-in tuteeAAooAllaha warasoolahu la yalitkum min aAAmalikumshay-an inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun | قالت الأعراب آمنا قل لم تؤمنوا ولكن قولوا أسلمنا ولما يدخل الإيمان في قلوبكم وإن تطيعوا الله ورسوله لا يلتكم من أعمالكم شيئا إن الله غفور رحيم قَالَتِ الْأَعْرَابُ آمَنَّا قُل لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَلَكِن قُولُوا أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ الْإِيْمَانُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَإِن تُطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَا يَلِتْكُم مِّنْ أَعْمَالِكُمْ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
