1 [33:5] | OdAAoohum li-aba-ihim huwa aqsatuAAinda Allahi fa-in lam taAAlamoo abaahumfa-ikhwanukum fee alddeeni wamawaleekumwalaysa AAalaykum junahun feema akhta/tumbihi walakin ma taAAammadat quloobukum wakanaAllahu ghafooran raheeman
| ادعوهم لآبائهم هو أقسط عند الله فإن لم تعلموا آباءهم فإخوانكم في الدين ومواليكم وليس عليكم جناح فيما أخطأتم به ولكن ما تعمدت قلوبكم وكان الله غفورا رحيما ادْعُوهُمْ لِآبَائِهِمْ هُوَ أَقْسَطُ عِندَ اللَّهِ فَإِن لَّمْ تَعْلَمُوا آبَاءَهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَمَوَالِيكُمْ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا أَخْطَأْتُم بِهِ وَلَكِن مَّا تَعَمَّدَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا |
Words | |ادعوهم - Call them| لآبائهم - by their fathers;| هو - it| أقسط - (is) more just| عند - near| الله - Allah.| فإن - But if| لم - not| تعلموا - you know| آباءهم - their fathers -| فإخوانكم - then (they are) your brothers| في - in| الدين - [the] religion| ومواليكم - and your friends.| وليس - But not is| عليكم - upon you| جناح - any blame| فيما - in what| أخطأتم - you made a mistake| به - in it,| ولكن - but| ما - what| تعمدت - intended| قلوبكم - your hearts.| وكان - And Allah| الله - And Allah| غفورا - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| |

| ለአባቶቻቸው (በማስጠጋት) ጥሯቸው፡፡ እርሱ አላህ ዘንድ ትክክለኛ ነው፡፡ አባቶቻቸውንም ባታውቁ በሃይማኖት ወንድሞቻችሁና ዘመዶቻችሁ ናቸው፡፡ በእርሱ በተሳሳታችሁበት ነገርም በእናንተ ላይ ኀጢአት የለባችሁም፡፡ ግን ልቦቻችሁ ዐውቀው በሠሩት (ኀጢአት አለባችሁ)፡፡ አላህም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | لكن {ادعوهم لآبائهم هو أقسطُ} أعدل {عند الله، فإن لم تعلموا آباءهم فإخوانكم في الدين ومواليكم} بنو عمكم { وليس عليكم جناح فيما أخطأتم به } في ذلك { ولكن } في { ما تعمدت قلوبكم } فيه أي بعد النهي { وكان الله غفورا} لما كان من قولكم قبل النهي {رحيما} بكم في ذلك. |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমরা তাদেরকে তাদের পিতৃপরিচয়ে ডাক। এটাই আল্লাহর কাছে ন্যায়সঙ্গত। যদি তোমরা তাদের পিতৃ-পরিচয় না জান, তবে তারা তোমাদের ধর্মীয় ভাই ও বন্ধুরূপে গণ্য হবে। এ ব্যাপারে তোমাদের কোন বিচ্যুতি হলে তাতে তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই, তবে ইচ্ছাকৃত হলে ভিন্ন কথা। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু। |
Literal | Call them to their fathers, it is more just/equitable at God, so if you did not/do not know their fathers so (they are) your brothers in the religion, and your allies/friends , and an offense/guilt/sin is not on you in what you mistook/erred with it, and but what your hearts/minds made intentionally/purposely, and God was/is a forgiver , merciful. |
Yusuf Ali | Call them by (the names of) their fathers: that is juster in the sight of Allah. But if ye know not their father's (names, call them) your Brothers in faith, or your maulas. But there is no blame on you if ye make a mistake therein: (what counts is) the intention of your hearts: and Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. |
