| 1 [2:117] | BadeeAAu alssamawatiwaal-ardi wa-itha qada amran fa-innamayaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu |  بديع السماوات والأرض وإذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكونبَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَإِذَا قَضَى أَمْراً فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |بديع - (The) Originator| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth!| وإذا - And when| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter,| فإنما - [so] only| يقول - He says| له - to it| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and it becomes.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:47] | Qalat rabbi anna yakoonu leewaladun walam yamsasnee basharun qala kathaliki Allahuyakhluqu ma yashao itha qada amranfa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu | قالت رب أنى يكون لي ولد ولم يمسسني بشر قال كذلك الله يخلق ما يشاء إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَذَلِكِ اللّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| رب - "My Lord| أنى - how| يكون - is [it]| لي - for me| ولد - a boy,| ولم - and (has) not| يمسسني - touch(ed) me| بشر - any man?"| قال - He said,| كذلك - "Thus| الله - Allah| يخلق - creates| ما - what| يشاء - He wills.| إذا - When| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and it becomes.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:2] | Huwa allathee khalaqakum min teeninthumma qada ajalan waajalun musamman AAindahu thumma antumtamtaroona | هو الذي خلقكم من طين ثم قضى أجلا وأجل مسمى عنده ثم أنتم تمترون هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَى أَجَلاً وَأَجَلٌ مُّسمًّى عِندَهُ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| خلقكم - created you| من - from| طين - clay| ثم - then| قضى - He decreed| أجلا - a term -| وأجل - and a term| مسمى - specified| عنده - with Him,| ثم - yet| أنتم - you| تمترون - doubt.| | ||||||
| 4 [19:35] | Ma kana lillahi anyattakhitha min waladin subhanahu itha qadaamran fa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu | ما كان لله أن يتخذ من ولد سبحانه إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍ سُبْحَانَهُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - (it) is| لله - for Allah| أن - that| يتخذ - He should take| من - any son.| ولد - any son.| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| إذا - When| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter,| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be"| فيكون - and it is.| | ||||||
| 5 [28:29] | Falamma qada moosaal-ajala wasara bi-ahlihi anasa min janibi alttoorinaran qala li-ahlihi omkuthoo innee anastu naranlaAAallee ateekum minha bikhabarin aw jathwatinmina alnnari laAAallakum tastaloona | فلما قضى موسى الأجل وسار بأهله آنس من جانب الطور نارا قال لأهله امكثوا إني آنست نارا لعلي آتيكم منها بخبر أو جذوة من النار لعلكم تصطلون فَلَمَّا قَضَى مُوسَى الْأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَهْلِهِ آنَسَ مِن جَانِبِ الطُّورِ نَارًا قَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ امْكُثُوا إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا لَّعَلِّي آتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ جَذْوَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| قضى - Musa fulfilled| موسى - Musa fulfilled| الأجل - the term| وسار - and was traveling| بأهله - with his family,| آنس - he saw| من - in| جانب - (the) direction| الطور - (of) Mount Tur| نارا - a fire.| قال - He said| لأهله - to his family,| امكثوا - "Stay here;| إني - indeed, I| آنست - [I] perceive| نارا - a fire.| لعلي - Perhaps| آتيكم - I will bring you| منها - from there| بخبر - some information| أو - or| جذوة - a burning wood| من - from| النار - the fire| لعلكم - so that you may| تصطلون - warm yourselves."| | ||||||
| 6 [33:23] | Mina almu/mineena rijalun sadaqooma AAahadoo Allaha AAalayhi faminhum man qadanahbahu waminhum man yantathiru wamabaddaloo tabdeelan | من المؤمنين رجال صدقوا ما عاهدوا الله عليه فمنهم من قضى نحبه ومنهم من ينتظر وما بدلوا تبديلا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |من - Among| المؤمنين - the believers| رجال - (are) men| صدقوا - (who) have been true| ما - (to) what| عاهدوا - they promised Allah| الله - they promised Allah| عليه - [on it].| فمنهم - And among them| من - (is he) who| قضى - has fulfilled| نحبه - his vow| ومنهم - and among them| من - (is he) who| ينتظر - awaits.| وما - And not| بدلوا - they alter| تبديلا - (by) any alteration -| | ||||||
| 7 [33:36] | Wama kana limu/minin walamu/minatin itha qada Allahu warasooluhuamran an yakoona lahumu alkhiyaratu min amrihim waman yaAAsiAllaha warasoolahu faqad dalla dalalanmubeenan | وما كان لمؤمن ولا مؤمنة إذا قضى الله ورسوله أمرا أن يكون لهم الخيرة من أمرهم ومن يعص الله ورسوله فقد ضل ضلالا مبينا وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - (it) is| لمؤمن - for a believing man| ولا - and not| مؤمنة - (for) a believing woman,| إذا - when| قضى - Allah has decided| الله - Allah has decided| ورسوله - and His Messenger| أمرا - a matter| أن - that| يكون - (there) should be| لهم - for them| الخيرة - (any) choice| من - about| أمرهم - their affair.| ومن - And whoever| يعص - disobeys| الله - Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger| فقد - certainly,| ضل - he (has) strayed| ضلالا - (into) error| مبينا - clear.| | ||||||
| 8 [33:37] | Wa-ith taqoolu lillatheeanAAama Allahu AAalayhi waanAAamta AAalayhi amsik AAalaykazawjaka waittaqi Allaha watukhfee fee nafsika maAllahu mubdeehi watakhsha alnnasa waAllahuahaqqu an takhshahu falamma qadazaydun minha wataran zawwajnakahalikay la yakoona AAala almu/mineena harajunfee azwaji adAAiya-ihim itha qadawminhunna wataran wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan | وإذ تقول للذي أنعم الله عليه وأنعمت عليه أمسك عليك زوجك واتق الله وتخفي في نفسك ما الله مبديه وتخشى الناس والله أحق أن تخشاه فلما قضى زيد منها وطرا زوجناكها لكي لا يكون على المؤمنين حرج في أزواج أدعيائهم إذا قضوا منهن وطرا وكان أمر الله مفعولا وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| تقول - you said| للذي - to the one,| أنعم - Allah bestowed favor| الله - Allah bestowed favor| عليه - on him| وأنعمت - and you bestowed favor| عليه - on him,| أمسك - "Keep| عليك - to yourself| زوجك - your wife| واتق - and fear| الله - Allah."| وتخفي - But you concealed| في - within| نفسك - yourself| ما - what| الله - Allah| مبديه - (was to) disclose.| وتخشى - And you fear| الناس - the people,| والله - while Allah| أحق - has more right| أن - that| تخشاه - you (should) fear Him.| فلما - So when| قضى - ended| زيد - Zaid| منها - from her| وطرا - necessary (formalities),| زوجناكها - We married her to you| لكي - so that| لا - not| يكون - there be| على - on| المؤمنين - the believers| حرج - any discomfort| في - concerning| أزواج - the wives| أدعيائهم - (of) their adopted sons| إذا - when| قضوا - they have ended| منهن - from them| وطرا - necessary (formalities).| وكان - And is| أمر - (the) Command| الله - (of) Allah| مفعولا - accomplished.| | ||||||
| 9 [39:42] | Allahu yatawaffa al-anfusa heenamawtiha waallatee lam tamut fee manamihafayumsiku allatee qada AAalayha almawta wayursilual-okhra ila ajalin musamman inna fee thalikalaayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona | الله يتوفى الأنفس حين موتها والتي لم تمت في منامها فيمسك التي قضى عليها الموت ويرسل الأخرى إلى أجل مسمى إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِي قَضَى عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ الْأُخْرَى إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| يتوفى - takes| الأنفس - the souls| حين - (at the) time| موتها - (of) their death,| والتي - and the one who| لم - (does) not| تمت - die| في - in| منامها - their sleep.| فيمسك - Then He keeps| التي - the one whom,| قضى - He has decreed| عليها - for them| الموت - the death,| ويرسل - and sends| الأخرى - the others| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - specified.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who ponder.| | ||||||
| 10 [40:68] | Huwa allathee yuhyee wayumeetufa-itha qada amran fa-innama yaqoolu lahukun fayakoonu | هو الذي يحيي ويميت فإذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون هُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ فَإِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
