| 1 [2:129] | Rabbana waibAAath feehimrasoolan minhum yatloo AAalayhim ayatikawayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmatawayuzakkeehim innaka anta alAAazeezu alhakeemu |  ربنا وابعث فيهم رسولا منهم يتلو عليهم آياتك ويعلمهم الكتاب والحكمة ويزكيهم إنك أنت العزيز الحكيمرَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ العَزِيزُ الحَكِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| وابعث - [And] raise up| فيهم - in them| رسولا - a Messenger| منهم - from them| يتلو - (who) will recite| عليهم - to them| آياتك - Your Verses| ويعلمهم - and will teach them| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and the wisdom| ويزكيهم - and purify them.| إنك - Indeed You!| أنت - You (are)| العزيز - the All-Mighty| الحكيم - the All-Wise."| | ||||||
| 2 [3:164] | Laqad manna Allahu AAalaalmu/mineena ith baAAatha feehim rasoolan min anfusihimyatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehimwayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wa-inkanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeenin | لقد من الله على المؤمنين إذ بعث فيهم رسولا من أنفسهم يتلو عليهم آياته ويزكيهم ويعلمهم الكتاب والحكمة وإن كانوا من قبل لفي ضلال مبين لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللّهُ عَلَى الْمُؤمِنِينَ إِذْ بَعَثَ فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly| من - bestowed a Favor| الله - Allah| على - upon| المؤمنين - the believers| إذ - as| بعث - He raised| فيهم - among them| رسولا - a Messenger| من - from| أنفسهم - themselves| يتلو - reciting| عليهم - to them| آياته - His Verses| ويزكيهم - and purifying them,| ويعلمهم - and teaching them| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and the wisdom,| وإن - although| كانوا - they were| من - from| قبل - before (that)| لفي - certainly in| ضلال - (the) error| مبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:102] | Wa-itha kunta feehim faaqamta lahumualssalata faltaqum ta-ifatun minhummaAAaka walya/khuthoo aslihatahum fa-ithasajadoo falyakoonoo min wara-ikum walta/ti ta-ifatunokhra lam yusalloo falyusalloo maAAakawalya/khuthoo hithrahum waaslihatahumwadda allatheena kafaroo law taghfuloona AAan aslihatikumwaamtiAAatikum fayameeloona AAalaykum maylatan wahidatanwala junaha AAalaykum in kana bikum athanmin matarin aw kuntum marda an tadaAAoo aslihatakumwakhuthoo hithrakum inna AllahaaAAadda lilkafireena AAathaban muheenan | وإذا كنت فيهم فأقمت لهم الصلاة فلتقم طائفة منهم معك وليأخذوا أسلحتهم فإذا سجدوا فليكونوا من ورائكم ولتأت طائفة أخرى لم يصلوا فليصلوا معك وليأخذوا حذرهم وأسلحتهم ود الذين كفروا لو تغفلون عن أسلحتكم وأمتعتكم فيميلون عليكم ميلة واحدة ولا جناح عليكم إن كان بكم أذى من مطر أو كنتم مرضى أن تضعوا أسلحتكم وخذوا حذركم إن الله أعد للكافرين عذابا مهينا وَإِذَا كُنتَ فِيهِمْ فَأَقَمْتَ لَهُمُ الصَّلاَةَ فَلْتَقُمْ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُم مَّعَكَ وَلْيَأْخُذُواْ أَسْلِحَتَهُمْ فَإِذَا سَجَدُواْ فَلْيَكُونُواْ مِن وَرَآئِكُمْ وَلْتَأْتِ طَآئِفَةٌ أُخْرَى لَمْ يُصَلُّواْ فَلْيُصَلُّواْ مَعَكَ وَلْيَأْخُذُواْ حِذْرَهُمْ وَأَسْلِحَتَهُمْ وَدَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْ تَغْفُلُونَ عَنْ أَسْلِحَتِكُمْ وَأَمْتِعَتِكُمْ فَيَمِيلُونَ عَلَيْكُم مَّيْلَةً وَاحِدَةً وَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِن كَانَ بِكُمْ أَذًى مِّن مَّطَرٍ أَوْ كُنتُم مَّرْضَى أَن تَضَعُواْ أَسْلِحَتَكُمْ وَخُذُواْ حِذْرَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| كنت - you are| فيهم - among them| فأقمت - and you lead| لهم - for them| الصلاة - the prayer,| فلتقم - then let stand| طائفة - a group| منهم - of them| معك - with you| وليأخذوا - and let them take| أسلحتهم - their arms.| فإذا - Then when| سجدوا - they have prostrated,| فليكونوا - then let them be| من - from| ورائكم - behind you| ولتأت - and let come (forward)| طائفة - a group -| أخرى - other,| لم - (which has) not| يصلوا - prayed,| فليصلوا - and let them pray| معك - with you| وليأخذوا - and let them take| حذرهم - their precautions| وأسلحتهم - and their arms.| ود - Wished| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| لو - if| تغفلون - you neglect| عن - [about]| أسلحتكم - your arms| وأمتعتكم - and your baggage,| فيميلون - so (that) they (can) assault| عليكم - [upon] you| ميلة - (in) an attack,| واحدة - single.| ولا - But (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليكم - upon you| إن - if| كان - was| بكم - with you| أذى - any trouble| من - (because) of| مطر - rain| أو - or| كنتم - you are| مرضى - sick| أن - that| تضعوا - you lay down| أسلحتكم - your arms,| وخذوا - but take| حذركم - your precautions.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| أعد - has prepared| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| عذابا - a punishment| مهينا - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:52] | Fatara allatheena feequloobihim maradun yusariAAoona feehim yaqooloonanakhsha an tuseebana da-iratun faAAasaAllahu an ya/tiya bialfathi aw amrin minAAindihi fayusbihoo AAala ma asarroofee anfusihim nadimeena | فترى الذين في قلوبهم مرض يسارعون فيهم يقولون نخشى أن تصيبنا دائرة فعسى الله أن يأتي بالفتح أو أمر من عنده فيصبحوا على ما أسروا في أنفسهم نادمين فَتَرَى الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ يُسَارِعُونَ فِيهِمْ يَقُولُونَ نَخْشَى أَن تُصِيبَنَا دَآئِرَةٌ فَعَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْرٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ فَيُصْبِحُواْ عَلَى مَا أَسَرُّواْ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ نَادِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فترى - And you see| الذين - those -| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts| مرض - (is) a disease| يسارعون - they hasten| فيهم - to them| يقولون - saying,| نخشى - "We fear| أن - that| تصيبنا - (may) strike us| دائرة - a misfortune."| فعسى - But perhaps| الله - Allah| أن - [that]| يأتي - will bring| بالفتح - the victory| أو - or| أمر - a decision| من - from| عنده - (of) Him.| فيصبحوا - Then they will become| على - for| ما - what| أسروا - they had concealed| في - within| أنفسهم - themselves,| نادمين - regretful.| | ||||||
| 5 [5:117] | Ma qultu lahum illa maamartanee bihi ani oAAbudoo Allaha rabbee warabbakumwakuntu AAalayhim shaheedan ma dumtu feehim falammatawaffaytanee kunta anta alrraqeeba AAalayhim waanta AAalakulli shay-in shaheedun | ما قلت لهم إلا ما أمرتني به أن اعبدوا الله ربي وربكم وكنت عليهم شهيدا ما دمت فيهم فلما توفيتني كنت أنت الرقيب عليهم وأنت على كل شيء شهيد مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلاَّ مَا أَمَرْتَنِي بِهِ أَنِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ وَكُنتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَّا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنتَ أَنتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| قلت - I said| لهم - to them| إلا - except| ما - what| أمرتني - You commanded me| به - [with it]| أن - that| اعبدوا - "You worship| الله - Allah,| ربي - my Lord| وربكم - and your Lord."| وكنت - And I was| عليهم - over them| شهيدا - a witness| ما - that| دمت - as long as I| فيهم - (was) among them,| فلما - then when| توفيتني - You raised me| كنت - You were| أنت - [You]| الرقيب - the Watcher| عليهم - over them,| وأنت - and You| على - (are) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| شهيد - a Witness.| | ||||||
| 6 [8:23] | Walaw AAalima Allahu feehim khayranlaasmaAAahum walaw asmaAAahum latawallaw wahum muAAridoona | ولو علم الله فيهم خيرا لأسمعهم ولو أسمعهم لتولوا وهم معرضون وَلَوْ عَلِمَ اللّهُ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا لَّأَسْمَعَهُمْ وَلَوْ أَسْمَعَهُمْ لَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| علم - (had) known| الله - Allah| فيهم - in them| خيرا - any good,| لأسمعهم - surely, He (would) have made them hear.| ولو - And if| أسمعهم - He had made them hear,| لتولوا - surely they would have turned away,| وهم - while they| معرضون - (were) averse.| | ||||||
| 7 [8:33] | Wama kana AllahuliyuAAaththibahum waanta feehim wama kanaAllahu muAAaththibahum wahum yastaghfiroona | وما كان الله ليعذبهم وأنت فيهم وما كان الله معذبهم وهم يستغفرون وَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمْ وَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - But not| كان - is| الله - (for) Allah| ليعذبهم - that He punishes them| وأنت - while you| فيهم - (are) among them,| وما - and not| كان - is| الله - Allah| معذبهم - the One Who punishes them| وهم - while they| يستغفرون - seek forgiveness.| | ||||||
| 8 [16:27] | Thumma yawma alqiyamati yukhzeehimwayaqoolu ayna shuraka-iya allatheena kuntum tushaqqoonafeehim qala allatheena ootoo alAAilma inna alkhizyaalyawma waalssoo-a AAala alkafireena | ثم يوم القيامة يخزيهم ويقول أين شركائي الذين كنتم تشاقون فيهم قال الذين أوتوا العلم إن الخزي اليوم والسوء على الكافرين ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُخْزِيهِمْ وَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآئِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تُشَاقُّونَ فِيهِمْ قَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْعِلْمَ إِنَّ الْخِزْيَ الْيَوْمَ وَالْسُّوءَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| يوم - (on) the Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection,| يخزيهم - He will disgrace them| ويقول - and say,| أين - "Where| شركائي - (are) My partners| الذين - those (for) whom| كنتم - you used (to)| تشاقون - oppose| فيهم - [in them]?"| قال - Will say| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| العلم - the knowledge,| إن - "Indeed,| الخزي - the disgrace,| اليوم - this Day| والسوء - and evil| على - (are) upon| الكافرين - the disbelievers"| | ||||||
| 9 [18:22] | Sayaqooloona thalathatun rabiAAuhumkalbuhum wayaqooloona khamsatun sadisuhum kalbuhum rajmanbialghaybi wayaqooloona sabAAatun wathaminuhumkalbuhum qul rabbee aAAlamu biAAiddatihim ma yaAAlamuhumilla qaleelun fala tumari feehim illamiraan thahiran wala tastaftifeehim minhum ahadan | سيقولون ثلاثة رابعهم كلبهم ويقولون خمسة سادسهم كلبهم رجما بالغيب ويقولون سبعة وثامنهم كلبهم قل ربي أعلم بعدتهم ما يعلمهم إلا قليل فلا تمار فيهم إلا مراء ظاهرا ولا تستفت فيهم منهم أحدا سَيَقُولُونَ ثَلاَثَةٌ رَّابِعُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ خَمْسَةٌ سَادِسُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ رَجْمًا بِالْغَيْبِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَبْعَةٌ وَثَامِنُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ قُل رَّبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِم مَّا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلٌ فَلاَ تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلاَّ مِرَاءً ظَاهِرًا وَلاَ تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |سيقولون - They say,| ثلاثة - (they were) three,| رابعهم - the forth of them| كلبهم - their dog;| ويقولون - and they say| خمسة - (they were) five| سادسهم - the sixth of them| كلبهم - their dog -| رجما - guessing| بالغيب - about the unseen;| ويقولون - and they say,| سبعة - (they were) seven| وثامنهم - and the eight of them| كلبهم - their dog.| قل - Say,| ربي - "My Lord,| أعلم - knows best| بعدتهم - their number.| ما - None| يعلمهم - knows them| إلا - except| قليل - a few.| فلا - So (do) not| تمار - argue| فيهم - about them| إلا - except| مراء - (with) an argument| ظاهرا - obvious,| ولا - and (do) not| تستفت - inquire| فيهم - about them| منهم - among them| أحدا - (from) anyone."| | ||||||
| 10 [18:86] | Hatta itha balaghamaghriba alshshamsi wajadaha taghrubu fee AAaynin hami-atinwawajada AAindaha qawman qulna ya thaalqarnayni imma an tuAAaththiba wa-imma antattakhitha feehim husnan | حتى إذا بلغ مغرب الشمس وجدها تغرب في عين حمئة ووجد عندها قوما قلنا يا ذا القرنين إما أن تعذب وإما أن تتخذ فيهم حسنا حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ مَغْرِبَ الشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَغْرُبُ فِي عَيْنٍ حَمِئَةٍ وَوَجَدَ عِندَهَا قَوْمًا قُلْنَا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِمَّا أَن تُعَذِّبَ وَإِمَّا أَن تَتَّخِذَ فِيهِمْ حُسْنًا | |||||
| Words | |حتى - Until,| إذا - when| بلغ - he reached| مغرب - (the) setting place| الشمس - (of) the sun,| وجدها - he found it| تغرب - setting| في - in| عين - a spring| حمئة - (of) dark mud,| ووجد - and he found| عندها - near it| قوما - a community.| قلنا - We said,| يا - O| ذا - "O Dhul-qarnain!| القرنين - "O Dhul-qarnain!| إما - Either| أن - [that]| تعذب - you punish| وإما - or| أن - [that]| تتخذ - you take| فيهم - [in] them| حسنا - (with) goodness."| | ||||||
| 11 [23:32] | Faarsalna feehim rasoolan minhum anioAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhuafala tattaqoona | فأرسلنا فيهم رسولا منهم أن اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره أفلا تتقون فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِنْهُمْ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فأرسلنا - And We sent| فيهم - among them| رسولا - a Messenger| منهم - from themselves| أن - [that]| اعبدوا - "Worship| الله - Allah;| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - (is) any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| أفلا - Then will not| تتقون - you fear?"| | ||||||
| 12 [24:33] | WalyastaAAfifi allatheena layajidoona nikahan hatta yughniyahumu Allahumin fadlihi waallatheena yabtaghoona alkitabamimma malakat aymanukum fakatiboohum inAAalimtum feehim khayran waatoohum min mali Allahiallathee atakum wala tukrihoo fatayatikumAAala albigha-i in aradna tahassunanlitabtaghoo AAarada alhayati alddunyawaman yukrihhunna fa-inna Allaha min baAAdi ikrahihinnaghafoorun raheemun | وليستعفف الذين لا يجدون نكاحا حتى يغنيهم الله من فضله والذين يبتغون الكتاب مما ملكت أيمانكم فكاتبوهم إن علمتم فيهم خيرا وآتوهم من مال الله الذي آتاكم ولا تكرهوا فتياتكم على البغاء إن أردن تحصنا لتبتغوا عرض الحياة الدنيا ومن يكرههن فإن الله من بعد إكراههن غفور رحيم وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ الَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ نِكَاحًا حَتَّى يُغْنِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَالَّذِينَ يَبْتَغُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا وَآتُوهُم مِّن مَّالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي آتَاكُمْ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَ تَحَصُّنًا لِّتَبْتَغُوا عَرَضَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَن يُكْرِههُّنَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مِن بَعْدِ إِكْرَاهِهِنَّ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وليستعفف - And let be chaste| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يجدون - find| نكاحا - (means for) marriage| حتى - until| يغنيهم - Allah enriches them| الله - Allah enriches them| من - from| فضله - His Bounty.| والذين - And those who| يبتغون - seek| الكتاب - the writing| مما - from (those) whom| ملكت - possess| أيمانكم - your right hands,| فكاتبوهم - then give them (the) writing| إن - if| علمتم - you know| فيهم - in them| خيرا - any good| وآتوهم - and give them| من - from| مال - the wealth of Allah| الله - the wealth of Allah| الذي - which| آتاكم - He has given you.| ولا - And (do) not| تكرهوا - compel| فتياتكم - your slave girls| على - to| البغاء - [the] prostitution,| إن - if| أردن - they desire| تحصنا - chastity| لتبتغوا - that you may seek| عرض - temporary gain| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| ومن - And whoever| يكرههن - compels them,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| من - after| بعد - after| إكراههن - their compulsion| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 13 [29:14] | Walaqad arsalna noohan ilaqawmihi falabitha feehim alfa sanatin illa khamseena AAamanfaakhathahumu alttoofanu wahum thalimoona | ولقد أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه فلبث فيهم ألف سنة إلا خمسين عاما فأخذهم الطوفان وهم ظالمون وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أرسلنا - We sent| نوحا - Nuh| إلى - to| قومه - his people,| فلبث - and he remained| فيهم - among them| ألف - a thousand| سنة - year(s),| إلا - save| خمسين - fifty| عاما - year(s),| فأخذهم - then seized them| الطوفان - the flood,| وهم - while they| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 14 [37:72] | Walaqad arsalna feehim munthireena | ولقد أرسلنا فيهم منذرين وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ | |||||

| 15 [60:6] | Laqad kana lakum feehim oswatun hasanatunliman kana yarjoo Allaha waalyawma al-akhirawaman yatawalla fa-inna Allaha huwa alghanniyyu alhameedu | لقد كان لكم فيهم أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الآخر ومن يتول فإن الله هو الغني الحميد لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ | |||||
