[60:6] | Laqad kana lakum feehim oswatun hasanatunliman kana yarjoo Allaha waalyawma al-akhirawaman yatawalla fa-inna Allaha huwa alghanniyyu alhameedu
|  لقد كان لكم فيهم أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الآخر ومن يتول فإن الله هو الغني الحميد
لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ |
| Words | |لقد - Certainly,| كان - (there) is| لكم - for you| فيهم - in them| أسوة - an example| حسنة - good| لمن - for (he) who| كان - is| يرجو - hopeful| الله - (in) Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last.| ومن - And whoever| يتول - turns away,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah,| هو - He,| الغني - (is) Free of need,| الحميد - the Praiseworthy.| |

| ለእናንተ አላህንና የመጨረሻውን ቀን ለሚፈራ ሰው በእነርሱ መልካም መከተል አልላችሁ፡፡ የሚዞርም ሰው (ራሱን ይጎዳል)፡፡ አላህ ተብቃቂው ምስጉኑ እርሱ ብቻ ነውና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { لقد كان لكم } يا أمة محمد جواب قسم مقدر { فيهم أسوة حسنة لمن كان } بدل اشتمال من كم بإعادة الجار { يرجوا الله واليوم الآخر } أي يخافهما أو يظن الثواب والعقاب { ومن يتول } بأن يوالي الكفار { فإن الله هو الغني } عن خلقه { الحميد } لأهل طاعته . |
| Ni$, i kunwi, amedya nnsen ucbiê, i wid iggunin Öebbi akked wass aneggaru. Ma d win iwexxôen, ihi, Öebbi d Asâay, d Amaâzuz! |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তোমরা যারা আল্লাহ ও পরকাল প্রত্যাশা কর, তোমাদের জন্য তাদের মধ্যে উত্তম আদর্শ রয়েছে। আর যে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তার জানা উচিত যে, আল্লাহ বেপরওয়া, প্রশংসার মালিক। |
| Literal | A good example/model (to follow) had been for you in them, to who was hoping/expecting God, and the Day the Last/Resurrection Day; and who turns away, so then God, He is the rich, the praiseworthy/commendable. |
| Yusuf Ali | There was indeed in them an excellent example for you to follow,- for those whose hope is in Allah and in the Last Day. But if any turn away, truly Allah is Free of all Wants, Worthy of all Praise. |
