| 1 [2:286] | La yukallifu Allahu nafsanilla wusAAaha laha ma kasabatwaAAalayha ma iktasabat rabbana latu-akhithna in naseena aw akhta/narabbana wala tahmil AAalayna isrankama hamaltahu AAala allatheena minqablina rabbana wala tuhammilnama la taqata lana bihi waoAAfuAAanna waighfir lana wairhamnaanta mawlana faonsurna AAalaalqawmi alkafireena |  لا يكلف الله نفسا إلا وسعها لها ما كسبت وعليها ما اكتسبت ربنا لا تؤاخذنا إن نسينا أو أخطأنا ربنا ولا تحمل علينا إصرا كما حملته على الذين من قبلنا ربنا ولا تحملنا ما لا طاقة لنا به واعف عنا واغفر لنا وارحمنا أنت مولانا فانصرنا على القوم الكافرينلاَ يُكَلِّفُ اللّهُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَآ أَنتَ مَوْلاَنَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - (Does) not| يكلف - burden| الله - Allah| نفسا - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - its capacity,| لها - for it| ما - what| كسبت - it earned,| وعليها - and against it| ما - what| اكتسبت - it earned.| ربنا - "Our Lord!| لا - (Do) not| تؤاخذنا - take us to task| إن - if| نسينا - we forget| أو - or| أخطأنا - we err.| ربنا - Our Lord!| ولا - And (do) not| تحمل - lay| علينا - upon us| إصرا - a burden| كما - like that| حملته - (which) You laid [it]| على - on| الذين - those who| من - (were) from| قبلنا - before us.| ربنا - Our Lord!| ولا - [And] (do) not| تحملنا - lay on us| ما - what| لا - not| طاقة - (the) strength| لنا - we have| به - [of it] (to bear).| واعف - And pardon| عنا - [from] us,| واغفر - and forgive| لنا - [for] us| وارحمنا - and have mercy on us.| أنت - You (are)| مولانا - our Protector,| فانصرنا - so help us| على - against| القوم - the people -| الكافرين - [the] disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:193] | Rabbana innana samiAAnamunadiyan yunadee lil-eemani an aminoobirabbikum faamanna rabbana faighfirlana thunoobana wakaffir AAannasayyi-atina watawaffana maAAa al-abrari | ربنا إننا سمعنا مناديا ينادي للإيمان أن آمنوا بربكم فآمنا ربنا فاغفر لنا ذنوبنا وكفر عنا سيئاتنا وتوفنا مع الأبرار رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord,| إننا - indeed we| سمعنا - [we] heard| مناديا - a caller| ينادي - calling| للإيمان - to the faith| أن - that| آمنوا - "Believe| بربكم - in your Lord,"| فآمنا - so we have believed.| ربنا - Our Lord| فاغفر - so forgive| لنا - for us| ذنوبنا - our sins| وكفر - and remove| عنا - from us| سيئاتنا - our evil deeds,| وتوفنا - and cause us to die| مع - with| الأبرار - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:37] | Faman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban aw kaththababi-ayatihi ola-ika yanaluhum naseebuhummina alkitabi hatta itha jaat-humrusuluna yatawaffawnahum qaloo ayna makuntum tadAAoona min dooni Allahi qaloo dallooAAanna washahidoo AAala anfusihim annahum kanookafireena | فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو كذب بآياته أولئك ينالهم نصيبهم من الكتاب حتى إذا جاءتهم رسلنا يتوفونهم قالوا أين ما كنتم تدعون من دون الله قالوا ضلوا عنا وشهدوا على أنفسهم أنهم كانوا كافرين فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يَنَالُهُمْ نَصِيبُهُم مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ قَالُواْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ قَالُواْ ضَلُّواْ عَنَّا وَشَهِدُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ كَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| افترى - invented| على - against| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie| أو - or| كذب - denies| بآياته - His Verses?| أولئك - Those -| ينالهم - will reach them| نصيبهم - their portion| من - from| الكتاب - the Book,| حتى - until| إذا - when| جاءتهم - comes to them| رسلنا - Our messengers (Angels)| يتوفونهم - (to) take them in death| قالوا - they say,| أين - "Where are| ما - those (whom)| كنتم - you used to| تدعون - invoke| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah?"| قالوا - They say,| ضلوا - "They strayed| عنا - from us,"| وشهدوا - and they (will) testify| على - against| أنفسهم - themselves| أنهم - that they| كانوا - were| كافرين - disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:134] | Walamma waqaAAa AAalayhimu alrrijzuqaloo ya moosa odAAu lana rabbaka bimaAAahida AAindaka la-in kashafta AAanna alrrijzalanu/minanna laka walanursilanna maAAaka banee isra-eela | ولما وقع عليهم الرجز قالوا يا موسى ادع لنا ربك بما عهد عندك لئن كشفت عنا الرجز لنؤمنن لك ولنرسلن معك بني إسرائيل وَلَمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّجْزُ قَالُواْ يَا مُوسَى ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ لَئِن كَشَفْتَ عَنَّا الرِّجْزَ لَنُؤْمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| وقع - fell| عليهم - on them| الرجز - the punishment,| قالوا - they said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| ادع - Invoke| لنا - for us| ربك - your Lord| بما - by what| عهد - He has promised| عندك - to you.| لئن - If| كشفت - you remove| عنا - from us| الرجز - the punishment| لنؤمنن - surely, we will believe| لك - [for] you| ولنرسلن - and surely, we will send| معك - with you| بني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel."| | ||||||
| 5 [14:21] | Wabarazoo lillahi jameeAAan faqalaaldduAAafao lillatheena istakbarooinna kunna lakum tabaAAan fahal antum mughnoonaAAanna min AAathabi Allahi min shay-in qaloolaw hadana Allahu lahadaynakum sawaonAAalayna ajaziAAna am sabarna malana min maheesin | وبرزوا لله جميعا فقال الضعفاء للذين استكبروا إنا كنا لكم تبعا فهل أنتم مغنون عنا من عذاب الله من شيء قالوا لو هدانا الله لهديناكم سواء علينا أجزعنا أم صبرنا ما لنا من محيص وَبَرَزُواْ لِلّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ قَالُواْ لَوْ هَدَانَا اللّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ | |||||
| Words | |وبرزوا - And they will come forth| لله - before Allah| جميعا - all together,| فقال - then will say| الضعفاء - the weak| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed we,| كنا - we were| لكم - your| تبعا - followers,| فهل - so can| أنتم - you (be)| مغنون - the one who avails| عنا - us| من - from| عذاب - (the) punishment| الله - (of) Allah| من - anything?"| شيء - anything?"| قالوا - They will say,| لو - "If| هدانا - Allah had guided us| الله - Allah had guided us| لهديناكم - surely we would have guided you.| سواء - (It is) same| علينا - for us| أجزعنا - whether we show intolerance| أم - or| صبرنا - we are patient,| ما - not| لنا - (is) for us| من - any| محيص - place of escape."| | ||||||
| 6 [25:65] | Waallatheena yaqooloona rabbanaisrif AAanna AAathaba jahannama inna AAathabahakana gharaman | والذين يقولون ربنا اصرف عنا عذاب جهنم إن عذابها كان غراما وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يقولون - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| اصرف - Avert| عنا - from us| عذاب - the punishment| جهنم - (of) Hell.| إن - Indeed,| عذابها - its punishment| كان - is| غراما - inseparable,| | ||||||
| 7 [35:34] | Waqaloo alhamdu lillahiallathee athhaba AAanna alhazana innarabbana laghafoorun shakoorun | وقالوا الحمد لله الذي أذهب عنا الحزن إن ربنا لغفور شكور وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they (will) say,| الحمد - "All praises| لله - (be) to Allah| الذي - the One Who| أذهب - (has) removed| عنا - from us| الحزن - the sorrow.| إن - Indeed,| ربنا - our Lord| لغفور - (is) surely Oft-Forgiving,| شكور - Most Appreciative,| | ||||||
| 8 [40:47] | Wa-ith yatahajjoona fee alnnarifayaqoolu aldduAAafao lillatheenaistakbaroo inna kunna lakum tabaAAan fahal antummughnoona AAanna naseeban mina alnnari | وإذ يتحاجون في النار فيقول الضعفاء للذين استكبروا إنا كنا لكم تبعا فهل أنتم مغنون عنا نصيبا من النار وَإِذْ يَتَحَاجُّونَ فِي النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يتحاجون - they will dispute| في - in| النار - the Fire,| فيقول - then will say| الضعفاء - the weak| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| إنا - "Indeed, we| كنا - [we] were| لكم - for you| تبعا - followers,| فهل - so can| أنتم - you| مغنون - avert| عنا - from us| نصيبا - a portion| من - of| النار - the Fire?"| | ||||||
| 9 [40:49] | Waqala allatheena fee alnnarilikhazanati jahannama odAAoo rabbakum yukhaffif AAannayawman mina alAAathabi | وقال الذين في النار لخزنة جهنم ادعوا ربكم يخفف عنا يوما من العذاب وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ فِي النَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ يُخَفِّفْ عَنَّا يَوْمًا مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And will say| الذين - those| في - in| النار - the Fire| لخزنة - to (the) keepers| جهنم - (of) Hell,| ادعوا - "Call| ربكم - your Lord| يخفف - (to) lighten| عنا - for us| يوما - a day| من - of| العذاب - the punishment."| | ||||||
| 10 [40:74] | Min dooni Allahi qaloo dallooAAanna bal lam nakun nadAAoo min qablu shay-an kathalikayudillu Allahu alkafireena | من دون الله قالوا ضلوا عنا بل لم نكن ندعو من قبل شيئا كذلك يضل الله الكافرين مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ قَالُوا ضَلُّوا عَنَّا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُواْ مِن قَبْلُ شَيْئًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |من - Other than| دون - Other than| الله - Allah?"| قالوا - They will say,| ضلوا - "They have departed| عنا - from us.| بل - Nay!| لم - Not| نكن - we used to| ندعو - [we] call| من - before| قبل - before| شيئا - anything."| كذلك - Thus| يضل - Allah lets go astray| الله - Allah lets go astray| الكافرين - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 11 [44:12] | Rabbana ikshif AAanna alAAathabainna mu/minoona | ربنا اكشف عنا العذاب إنا مؤمنون رَبَّنَا اكْشِفْ عَنَّا الْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
