| 1 [3:118] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum laya/loonakum khabalan waddoo ma AAanittum qad badatialbaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhumakbaru qad bayyanna lakumu al-ayati inkuntum taAAqiloona |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا بطانة من دونكم لا يألونكم خبالا ودوا ما عنتم قد بدت البغضاء من أفواههم وما تخفي صدورهم أكبر قد بينا لكم الآيات إن كنتم تعقلونيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ بِطَانَةً مِّن دُونِكُمْ لاَ يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالاً وَدُّواْ مَا عَنِتُّمْ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - (Do) not| تتخذوا - take| بطانة - (as) intimates| من - from| دونكم - other than yourselves,| لا - not| يألونكم - they will spare you| خبالا - (any) ruin.| ودوا - They wish| ما - what| عنتم - distresses you.| قد - Indeed,| بدت - (has become) apparent| البغضاء - the hatred| من - from| أفواههم - their mouths,| وما - and what| تخفي - conceals| صدورهم - their breasts| أكبر - (is) greater.| قد - Certainly| بينا - We made clear| لكم - for you| الآيات - the Verses,| إن - if| كنتم - you were| تعقلون - (to use) reason.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:90] | Illa allatheena yasiloonaila qawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun aw jaookumhasirat sudooruhum an yuqatilookum awyuqatiloo qawmahum walaw shaa Allahu lasallatahumAAalaykum falaqatalookum fa-ini iAAtazalookum falam yuqatilookumwaalqaw ilaykumu alssalama fama jaAAala Allahulakum AAalayhim sabeelan | إلا الذين يصلون إلى قوم بينكم وبينهم ميثاق أو جاءوكم حصرت صدورهم أن يقاتلوكم أو يقاتلوا قومهم ولو شاء الله لسلطهم عليكم فلقاتلوكم فإن اعتزلوكم فلم يقاتلوكم وألقوا إليكم السلم فما جعل الله لكم عليهم سبيلا إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُم مِّيثَاقٌ أَوْ جَآؤُوكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُورُهُمْ أَن يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ أَوْ يُقَاتِلُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ فَلَقَاتَلُوكُمْ فَإِنِ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْاْ إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those who| يصلون - join| إلى - [to]| قوم - a group| بينكم - between you| وبينهم - and between them| ميثاق - (is) a treaty| أو - or| جاءوكم - those who come to you| حصرت - restraining| صدورهم - their hearts| أن - that| يقاتلوكم - they fight you| أو - or| يقاتلوا - they fight| قومهم - their people.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah,| لسلطهم - surely He (would have) given them power| عليكم - over you,| فلقاتلوكم - and surely they (would have) fought you.| فإن - So if| اعتزلوكم - they withdraw from you| فلم - and (do) not| يقاتلوكم - fight against you| وألقوا - and offer| إليكم - to you| السلم - [the] peace| فما - then not| جعل - (has) made| الله - Allah| لكم - for you| عليهم - against them| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:43] | WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihimmin ghillin tajree min tahtihimu al-anharu waqalooalhamdu lillahi allathee hadanalihatha wama kunna linahtadiya lawlaan hadana Allahu laqad jaat rusulurabbina bialhaqqi wanoodoo an tilkumualjannatu oorithtumooha bima kuntum taAAmaloona | ونزعنا ما في صدورهم من غل تجري من تحتهم الأنهار وقالوا الحمد لله الذي هدانا لهذا وما كنا لنهتدي لولا أن هدانا الله لقد جاءت رسل ربنا بالحق ونودوا أن تلكم الجنة أورثتموها بما كنتم تعملون وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ وَقَالُواْ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَـذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلاَ أَنْ هَدَانَا اللّهُ لَقَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَنُودُواْ أَن تِلْكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ونزعنا - And We will remove| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| صدورهم - their breasts| من - of| غل - malice.| تجري - Flows| من - from| تحتهم - underneath them| الأنهار - the rivers.| وقالوا - And they will say,| الحمد - "All the praise| لله - (is) for Allah,| الذي - the One Who| هدانا - guided us| لهذا - to this,| وما - and not| كنا - we were| لنهتدي - to receive guidance| لولا - if not| أن - [that]| هدانا - (had) guided us| الله - Allah.| لقد - Certainly,| جاءت - came| رسل - Messengers| ربنا - (of) our Lord| بالحق - with the truth."| ونودوا - And they will be addressed,| أن - [that]| تلكم - "This| الجنة - (is) Paradise,| أورثتموها - you have been made to inherit it| بما - for what| كنتم - you used to| تعملون - do."| | ||||||
| 4 [11:5] | Ala innahum yathnoona sudoorahumliyastakhfoo minhu ala heena yastaghshoona thiyabahumyaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona innahuAAaleemun bithati alssudoori | ألا إنهم يثنون صدورهم ليستخفوا منه ألا حين يستغشون ثيابهم يعلم ما يسرون وما يعلنون إنه عليم بذات الصدور أَلاَ إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ لِيَسْتَخْفُواْ مِنْهُ أَلا حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ ثِيَابَهُمْ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Words | |ألا - No doubt!| إنهم - They| يثنون - fold up| صدورهم - their breasts| ليستخفوا - that they may hide| منه - from Him.| ألا - Surely,| حين - when| يستغشون - they cover (themselves)| ثيابهم - (with) their garments,| يعلم - He knows| ما - what| يسرون - they conceal| وما - and what| يعلنون - they reveal.| إنه - Indeed, He| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بذات - of what| الصدور - (is in) the breasts.| | ||||||
| 5 [15:47] | WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihimmin ghillin ikhwanan AAala sururin mutaqabileena | ونزعنا ما في صدورهم من غل إخوانا على سرر متقابلين وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ونزعنا - And We (will) remove| ما - what| في - (is) in| صدورهم - their breasts| من - of| غل - rancor| إخوانا - (they will be) brothers| على - on| سرر - thrones| متقابلين - facing each other.| | ||||||
| 6 [27:74] | Wa-inna rabbaka layaAAlamu ma tukinnusudooruhum wama yuAAlinoona | وإن ربك ليعلم ما تكن صدورهم وما يعلنون وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| ربك - your Lord| ليعلم - surely knows| ما - what| تكن - conceals| صدورهم - their breasts| وما - and what| يعلنون - they declare.| | ||||||
| 7 [28:69] | Warabbuka yaAAlamu ma tukinnu sudooruhumwama yuAAlinoona | وربك يعلم ما تكن صدورهم وما يعلنون وَرَبُّكَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وربك - And your Lord| يعلم - knows| ما - what| تكن - conceals| صدورهم - their breasts| وما - and what| يعلنون - they declare.| | ||||||
| 8 [40:56] | Inna allatheena yujadiloonafee ayati Allahi bighayri sultanin atahumin fee sudoorihim illa kibrun ma hum bibaligheehifaistaAAith biAllahi innahu huwa alssameeAAualbaseeru | إن الذين يجادلون في آيات الله بغير سلطان أتاهم إن في صدورهم إلا كبر ما هم ببالغيه فاستعذ بالله إنه هو السميع البصير إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ إِن فِي صُدُورِهِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِبَالِغِيهِ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يجادلون - dispute| في - concerning| آيات - (the) Signs| الله - (of) Allah| بغير - without| سلطان - any authority| أتاهم - (which) came to them,| إن - not| في - (is) in| صدورهم - their breasts| إلا - but| كبر - greatness,| ما - not| هم - they| ببالغيه - (can) reach it.| فاستعذ - So seek refuge| بالله - in Allah.| إنه - Indeed He,| هو - He| السميع - (is) the All-Hearer| البصير - the All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 9 [59:9] | Waallatheena tabawwaoo alddarawaal-eemana min qablihim yuhibboona man hajarailayhim wala yajidoona fee sudoorihim hajatanmimma ootoo wayu/thiroona AAala anfusihim walaw kanabihim khasasatun waman yooqa shuhha nafsihi faola-ikahumu almuflihoona | والذين تبوءوا الدار والإيمان من قبلهم يحبون من هاجر إليهم ولا يجدون في صدورهم حاجة مما أوتوا ويؤثرون على أنفسهم ولو كان بهم خصاصة ومن يوق شح نفسه فأولئك هم المفلحون وَالَّذِينَ تَبَوَّؤُوا الدَّارَ وَالْإِيْمَانَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّونَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ فِي صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَةً مِّمَّا أُوتُوا وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| تبوءوا - settled| الدار - (in) the home| والإيمان - and (accepted) faith| من - from| قبلهم - before them| يحبون - love| من - (those) who| هاجر - emigrated| إليهم - to them,| ولا - and not| يجدون - they find| في - in| صدورهم - their breasts| حاجة - any want| مما - of what| أوتوا - they were given| ويؤثرون - but prefer| على - over| أنفسهم - themselves,| ولو - even though| كان - was| بهم - with them| خصاصة - poverty.| ومن - And whoever| يوق - is saved| شح - (from) stinginess| نفسه - (of) his soul,| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| المفلحون - (are) the successful ones.| | ||||||
| 10 [59:13] | Laantum ashaddu rahbatan fee sudoorihimmina Allahi thalika bi-annahum qawmun layafqahoona | لأنتم أشد رهبة في صدورهم من الله ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون لَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ رَهْبَةً فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لأنتم - Certainly you| أشد - (are) more intense| رهبة - (in) fear| في - in| صدورهم - their breasts| من - than| الله - Allah.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قوم - (are) a people| لا - (who do) not| يفقهون - understand.| | ||||||
