| 1 [2:201] | Waminhum man yaqoolu rabbana atinafee alddunya hasanatan wafee al-akhiratihasanatan waqina AAathaba alnnari |  ومنهم من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب الناروِمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And from those| من - who| يقول - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آتنا - Grant us| في - in| الدنيا - the world| حسنة - good| وفي - and in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| حسنة - good,| وقنا - and save us| عذاب - (from the) punishment| النار - (of) the Fire."| | ||||||
| 2 [3:120] | In tamsaskum hasanatun tasu/humwa-in tusibkum sayyi-atun yafrahoo bihawa-in tasbiroo watattaqoo la yadurrukumkayduhum shay-an inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheetun | إن تمسسكم حسنة تسؤهم وإن تصبكم سيئة يفرحوا بها وإن تصبروا وتتقوا لا يضركم كيدهم شيئا إن الله بما يعملون محيط إِن تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُواْ بِهَا وَإِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| تمسسكم - touches you| حسنة - a good,| تسؤهم - it grieves them| وإن - and if| تصبكم - strikes you| سيئة - misfortune,| يفرحوا - they rejoice| بها - at it.| وإن - And if| تصبروا - you are patient| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah),| لا - not| يضركم - will harm you| كيدهم - their plot| شيئا - (in) anything.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah,| بما - of what| يعملون - they do| محيط - (is) All-Encompassing.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:40] | Inna Allaha la yathlimumithqala tharratin wa-in taku hasanatan yudaAAifhawayu/ti min ladunhu ajran AAatheeman | إن الله لا يظلم مثقال ذرة وإن تك حسنة يضاعفها ويؤت من لدنه أجرا عظيما إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَظْلِمُ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ وَإِن تَكُ حَسَنَةً يُضَاعِفْهَا وَيُؤْتِ مِن لَّدُنْهُ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يظلم - wrong| مثقال - (as much as) weight| ذرة - (of) an atom.| وإن - And if| تك - there is| حسنة - a good| يضاعفها - He doubles it| ويؤت - and gives| من - from| لدنه - near Him| أجرا - a reward| عظيما - great.| | ||||||
| 4 [4:78] | Aynama takoonoo yudrikkumu almawtuwalaw kuntum fee buroojin mushayyadatin wa-in tusibhum hasanatunyaqooloo hathihi min AAindi Allahi wa-in tusibhumsayyi-atun yaqooloo hathihi min AAindika qul kullun minAAindi Allahi famali haola-i alqawmila yakadoona yafqahoona hadeethan | أينما تكونوا يدرككم الموت ولو كنتم في بروج مشيدة وإن تصبهم حسنة يقولوا هذه من عند الله وإن تصبهم سيئة يقولوا هذه من عندك قل كل من عند الله فمال هؤلاء القوم لا يكادون يفقهون حديثا أَيْنَمَا تَكُونُواْ يُدْرِككُّمُ الْمَوْتُ وَلَوْ كُنتُمْ فِي بُرُوجٍ مُّشَيَّدَةٍ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ حَسَنَةٌ يَقُولُواْ هَـذِهِ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَقُولُواْ هَـذِهِ مِنْ عِندِكَ قُلْ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ اللّهِ فَمَا لِهَـؤُلاَءِ الْقَوْمِ لاَ يَكَادُونَ يَفْقَهُونَ حَدِيثًا | |||||
| Words | |أينما - Wherever| تكونوا - you be| يدرككم - will overtake you| الموت - [the] death| ولو - even if| كنتم - you are| في - in| بروج - towers| مشيدة - lofty.| وإن - And if| تصبهم - befalls them| حسنة - any good| يقولوا - they say,| هذه - "This| من - (is)| عند - from| الله - Allah."| وإن - And if| تصبهم - befalls them| سيئة - any evil| يقولوا - they say,| هذه - "This| من - (is)| عندك - (from) you."| قل - Say,| كل - "All| من - (is)| عند - from| الله - Allah."| فمال - So what (is wrong)| هؤلاء - (with) these| القوم - [the] people,| لا - not| يكادون - do they seem| يفقهون - (to) understand| حديثا - any statement.| | ||||||
| 5 [4:79] | Ma asabaka min hasanatinfamina Allahi wama asabaka min sayyi-atinfamin nafsika waarsalnaka lilnnasi rasoolanwakafa biAllahi shaheedan | ما أصابك من حسنة فمن الله وما أصابك من سيئة فمن نفسك وأرسلناك للناس رسولا وكفى بالله شهيدا مَّا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ اللّهِ وَمَا أَصَابَكَ مِن سَيِّئَةٍ فَمِن نَّفْسِكَ وَأَرْسَلْنَاكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولاً وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ شَهِيدًا | |||||
| Words | |ما - What(ever)| أصابك - befalls you| من - of| حسنة - (the) good| فمن - (is) from| الله - Allah,| وما - and whatever| أصابك - befalls you| من - of| سيئة - (the) evil| فمن - (is) from| نفسك - yourself.| وأرسلناك - And We have sent you| للناس - for the people| رسولا - (as) a Messenger,| وكفى - and is sufficient| بالله - Allah| شهيدا - (as) a Witness.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:85] | Man yashfaAA shafaAAatan hasanatanyakun lahu naseebun minha waman yashfaAA shafaAAatansayyi-atan yakun lahu kiflun minha wakana AllahuAAala kulli shay-in muqeetan | من يشفع شفاعة حسنة يكن له نصيب منها ومن يشفع شفاعة سيئة يكن له كفل منها وكان الله على كل شيء مقيتا مَّن يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً حَسَنَةً يَكُن لَّهُ نَصِيبٌ مِّنْهَا وَمَن يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً سَيِّئَةً يَكُن لَّهُ كِفْلٌ مِّنْهَا وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّقِيتًا | |||||
| Words | |من - Whoever| يشفع - intercedes -| شفاعة - an intercession| حسنة - good,| يكن - will have| له - for him| نصيب - a share| منها - of it;| ومن - and whoever| يشفع - intercedes -| شفاعة - an intercession| سيئة - evil,| يكن - will have| له - for him| كفل - a portion| منها - of it.| وكان - And is| الله - Allah| على - on| كل - every| شيء - thing| مقيتا - a Keeper.| | ||||||
| 7 [7:156] | Waoktub lana fee hathihialddunya hasanatan wafee al-akhiratiinna hudna ilayka qala AAathabee oseebubihi man ashao warahmatee wasiAAat kulla shay-infasaaktubuha lillatheena yattaqoona wayu/toona alzzakatawaallatheena hum bi-ayatinayu/minoona | واكتب لنا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة إنا هدنا إليك قال عذابي أصيب به من أشاء ورحمتي وسعت كل شيء فسأكتبها للذين يتقون ويؤتون الزكاة والذين هم بآياتنا يؤمنون وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِي هَـذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَـا إِلَيْكَ قَالَ عَذَابِي أُصِيبُ بِهِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَـاةَ وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِآيَاتِنَا يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واكتب - And ordain| لنا - for us| في - in| هذه - this| الدنيا - [the] world,| حسنة - good| وفي - and in| الآخرة - the Hereafter.| إنا - Indeed, we| هدنا - we have turned| إليك - to You."| قال - He said,| عذابي - "My punishment -| أصيب - I afflict| به - with it| من - whom| أشاء - I will,| ورحمتي - but My Mercy| وسعت - encompasses| كل - every| شيء - thing.| فسأكتبها - So I will ordain it| للذين - for those who| يتقون - (are) righteous| ويؤتون - and give| الزكاة - zakah| والذين - and those who| هم - [they]| بآياتنا - in Our Verses,| يؤمنون - they believe.| | ||||||
| 8 [9:50] | In tusibka hasanatun tasu/humwa-in tusibka museebatun yaqooloo qad akhathnaamrana min qablu wayatawallaw wahum farihoona | إن تصبك حسنة تسؤهم وإن تصبك مصيبة يقولوا قد أخذنا أمرنا من قبل ويتولوا وهم فرحون إِن تُصِبْكَ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكَ مُصِيبَةٌ يَقُولُواْ قَدْ أَخَذْنَا أَمْرَنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَيَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُمْ فَرِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| تصبك - befalls you| حسنة - good,| تسؤهم - it distresses them,| وإن - but if| تصبك - befalls you| مصيبة - a calamity| يقولوا - they say,| قد - "Verily,| أخذنا - we took| أمرنا - our matter| من - before."| قبل - before."| ويتولوا - And they turn away| وهم - while they| فرحون - (are) rejoicing.| | ||||||
| 9 [16:30] | Waqeela lillatheena ittaqaw mathaanzala rabbukum qaloo khayran lillatheena ahsanoofee hathihi alddunya hasanatun waladarual-akhirati khayrun walaniAAma daru almuttaqeena | وقيل للذين اتقوا ماذا أنزل ربكم قالوا خيرا للذين أحسنوا في هذه الدنيا حسنة ولدار الآخرة خير ولنعم دار المتقين وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْاْ مَاذَا أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُواْ خَيْرًا لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقيل - And it will be said| للذين - to those who| اتقوا - fear Allah,| ماذا - "What| أنزل - has your Lord sent down?"| ربكم - has your Lord sent down?"| قالوا - They will say,| خيرا - "Good."| للذين - For those who| أحسنوا - do good| في - in| هذه - this| الدنيا - world| حسنة - (is) a good,| ولدار - and the home| الآخرة - of the Hereafter| خير - (is) better.| ولنعم - And surely excellent| دار - (is) the home| المتقين - (of) the righteous.| | ||||||
| 10 [16:41] | Waallatheena hajaroofee Allahi min baAAdi ma thulimoolanubawwi-annahum fee alddunya hasanatanwalaajru al-akhirati akbaru law kanoo yaAAlamoona | والذين هاجروا في الله من بعد ما ظلموا لنبوئنهم في الدنيا حسنة ولأجر الآخرة أكبر لو كانوا يعلمون وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ فِي اللّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُواْ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَلَأَجْرُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| هاجروا - emigrated| في - in (the way)| الله - (of) Allah| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| ظلموا - they were wronged,| لنبوئنهم - surely We will give them position| في - in| الدنيا - the world| حسنة - good,| ولأجر - but surely the reward| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| أكبر - (is) greater,| لو - if| كانوا - they| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 11 [16:122] | Waataynahu fee alddunyahasanatan wa-innahu fee al-akhirati lamina alssaliheena | وآتيناه في الدنيا حسنة وإنه في الآخرة لمن الصالحين وَآتَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وآتيناه - And We gave him| في - in| الدنيا - the world| حسنة - good,| وإنه - and indeed, he| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| لمن - (he) will surely (be) among| الصالحين - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 12 [33:21] | Laqad kana lakum fee rasooli Allahioswatun hasanatun liman kana yarjoo Allahawaalyawma al-akhira wathakara Allahakatheeran | لقد كان لكم في رسول الله أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الآخر وذكر الله كثيرا لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا | |||||

| 13 [39:10] | Qul ya AAibadi allatheenaamanoo ittaqoo rabbakum lillatheena ahsanoofee hathihi alddunya hasanatun waarduAllahi wasiAAatun innama yuwaffa alssabiroonaajrahum bighayri hisabin | قل يا عباد الذين آمنوا اتقوا ربكم للذين أحسنوا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وأرض الله واسعة إنما يوفى الصابرون أجرهم بغير حساب قُلْ يَا عِبَادِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ وَأَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةٌ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ | |||||

| 14 [42:23] | Thalika allathee yubashshiruAllahu AAibadahu allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati qul laas-alukum AAalayhi ajran illa almawaddata fee alqurbawaman yaqtarif hasanatan nazid lahu feeha husnaninna Allaha ghafoorun shakoorun | ذلك الذي يبشر الله عباده الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات قل لا أسألكم عليه أجرا إلا المودة في القربى ومن يقترف حسنة نزد له فيها حسنا إن الله غفور شكور ذَلِكَ الَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ اللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَى وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حُسْنًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ | |||||

| 15 [60:4] | Qad kanat lakum oswatun hasanatunfee ibraheema waallatheena maAAahu ithqaloo liqawmihim inna buraao minkum wamimmataAAbudoona min dooni Allahi kafarna bikum wabadabaynana wabaynakumu alAAadawatu waalbaghdaoabadan hatta tu/minoo biAllahi wahdahuilla qawla ibraheema li-abeehi laastaghfiranna lakawama amliku laka mina Allahi min shay-in rabbanaAAalayka tawakkalna wa-ilayka anabna wa-ilayka almaseeru | قد كانت لكم أسوة حسنة في إبراهيم والذين معه إذ قالوا لقومهم إنا برآء منكم ومما تعبدون من دون الله كفرنا بكم وبدا بيننا وبينكم العداوة والبغضاء أبدا حتى تؤمنوا بالله وحده إلا قول إبراهيم لأبيه لأستغفرن لك وما أملك لك من الله من شيء ربنا عليك توكلنا وإليك أنبنا وإليك المصير قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ إِذْ قَالُوا لِقَوْمِهِمْ إِنَّا بُرَءَاؤُا مِنكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاءُ أَبَدًا حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ إِلَّا قَوْلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ لَأَسْتَغْفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ رَّبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Indeed,| كانت - (there) is| لكم - for you| أسوة - an example| حسنة - good| في - in| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| والذين - and those| معه - with him,| إذ - when| قالوا - they said| لقومهم - to their people,| إنا - "Indeed, we| برآء - (are) disassociated| منكم - from you| ومما - and from what| تعبدون - you worship| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah.| كفرنا - We have denied| بكم - you,| وبدا - and has appeared| بيننا - between us| وبينكم - and between you| العداوة - enmity| والبغضاء - and hatred| أبدا - forever| حتى - until| تؤمنوا - you believe| بالله - in Allah| وحده - Alone."| إلا - Except| قول - (the) saying| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim| لأبيه - to his father,| لأستغفرن - "Surely I ask forgiveness| لك - for you,| وما - but not| أملك - I have power| لك - for you| من - from| الله - Allah| من - of| شيء - anything.| ربنا - Our Lord,| عليك - upon You| توكلنا - we put our trust,| وإليك - and to You| أنبنا - we turn,| وإليك - and to You| المصير - (is) the final return.| | ||||||
| 16 [60:6] | Laqad kana lakum feehim oswatun hasanatunliman kana yarjoo Allaha waalyawma al-akhirawaman yatawalla fa-inna Allaha huwa alghanniyyu alhameedu | لقد كان لكم فيهم أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الآخر ومن يتول فإن الله هو الغني الحميد لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيهِمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ | |||||
