| 1 [2:144] | Qad nara taqalluba wajhika fee alssama-ifalanuwalliyannaka qiblatan tardaha fawalli wajhakashatra almasjidi alharami wahaythu makuntum fawalloo wujoohakum shatrahu wa-inna allatheenaootoo alkitaba layaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu minrabbihim wama Allahu bighafilin AAammayaAAmaloona |  قد نرى تقلب وجهك في السماء فلنولينك قبلة ترضاها فول وجهك شطر المسجد الحرام وحيث ما كنتم فولوا وجوهكم شطره وإن الذين أوتوا الكتاب ليعلمون أنه الحق من ربهم وما الله بغافل عما يعملونقَدْ نَرَى تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَاهَا فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ الْكِتَابَ لَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Indeed,| نرى - We see| تقلب - (the) turning| وجهك - (of) your face| في - towards| السماء - the heaven.| فلنولينك - So We will surely turn you| قبلة - (to the) direction of prayer| ترضاها - you will be pleased with.| فول - So turn| وجهك - your face| شطر - towards the direction| المسجد - (of) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam| وحيث - and wherever| ما - that| كنتم - you are| فولوا - [so] turn| وجوهكم - your faces| شطره - (in) its direction.| وإن - And indeed,| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| ليعلمون - surely know| أنه - that it| الحق - (is) the truth| من - from| ربهم - their Lord.| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| يعملون - they do.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:196] | La yaghurrannaka taqallubu allatheenakafaroo fee albiladi | لا يغرنك تقلب الذين كفروا في البلاد لاَ يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي الْبِلاَدِ | |||||

| 3 [33:66] | Yawma tuqallabu wujoohuhum fee alnnariyaqooloona ya laytana ataAAna AllahawaataAAna alrrasoola | يوم تقلب وجوههم في النار يقولون يا ليتنا أطعنا الله وأطعنا الرسولا يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَا لَيْتَنَا أَطَعْنَا اللَّهَ وَأَطَعْنَا الرَّسُولَا | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (The) Day| تقلب - will be turned about| وجوههم - their faces| في - in| النار - the Fire| يقولون - they will say,| يا - O| ليتنا - "O we wish| أطعنا - we (had) obeyed| الله - Allah| وأطعنا - and obeyed| الرسولا - the Messenger!"| | ||||||
