[2:144] | Qad nara taqalluba wajhika fee alssama-ifalanuwalliyannaka qiblatan tardaha fawalli wajhakashatra almasjidi alharami wahaythu makuntum fawalloo wujoohakum shatrahu wa-inna allatheenaootoo alkitaba layaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu minrabbihim wama Allahu bighafilin AAammayaAAmaloona
|  قد نرى تقلب وجهك في السماء فلنولينك قبلة ترضاها فول وجهك شطر المسجد الحرام وحيث ما كنتم فولوا وجوهكم شطره وإن الذين أوتوا الكتاب ليعلمون أنه الحق من ربهم وما الله بغافل عما يعملون
قَدْ نَرَى تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَاهَا فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ الْكِتَابَ لَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ |
| Words | |قد - Indeed,| نرى - We see| تقلب - (the) turning| وجهك - (of) your face| في - towards| السماء - the heaven.| فلنولينك - So We will surely turn you| قبلة - (to the) direction of prayer| ترضاها - you will be pleased with.| فول - So turn| وجهك - your face| شطر - towards the direction| المسجد - (of) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam| وحيث - and wherever| ما - that| كنتم - you are| فولوا - [so] turn| وجوهكم - your faces| شطره - (in) its direction.| وإن - And indeed,| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| ليعلمون - surely know| أنه - that it| الحق - (is) the truth| من - from| ربهم - their Lord.| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| يعملون - they do.| |

| የፊትህን ወደ ሰማይ መገላበጥ በእርግጥ እናያለን፡፡ ወደምትወዳትም ቂብላ እናዞርሃለን፡፡ ስለዚህ ፊትህን ወደ ተከበረው መስጊድ (ወደ ካዕባ) አግጣጫ አዙር፡፡ የትም ስፍራ ብትኾኑም (ስትሰግዱ) ፊቶቻችሁን ወደርሱ አግጣጫ አዙሩ፡፡ እነዚያም መጽሐፉን የተሰጡት እርሱ ከጌታቸው ሲኾን እውነት መሆኑን ያውቃሉ፡፡ አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሥራ ዘንጊ አይደለም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قد } للتحقيق { نرى تقلُّب } تصرف { وجهك في } جهة { السماء } متطلعا إلى الوحي ومتشوقا للأمر باستقبال الكعبة وكان يود ذلك لأنها قبلة إبراهيم ولأنه دعى إلى إسلام العرب { فلنولينك } نحولنك { قبلة ترضاها } تحبها { فولِّ وجهك } استقبل في الصلاة { شطر } نحو { المسجد الحرام } أي الكعبة { وحيثما كنتم } خطاب للأمة { فولُّوا وجوهكم } في الصلاة { شطره وإن الذين أوتوا الكتاب ليعلمون أنه } أي التولي إلى الكعبة { الحق } الثابت { من ربهم } لما في كتبهم من نعت النبي من أنه يتحول إليها { وما الله بغافل عما تعملون } بالتاء أيها المؤمنون من امتثال أمره وبالياء أي اليهود من إنكار أمر القبلة . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | নিশ্চয়ই আমি আপনাকে বার বার আকাশের দিকে তাকাতে দেখি। অতএব, অবশ্যই আমি আপনাকে সে কেবলার দিকেই ঘুরিয়ে দেব যাকে আপনি পছন্দ করেন। এখন আপনি মসজিদুল-হারামের দিকে মুখ করুন এবং তোমরা যেখানেই থাক, সেদিকে মুখ কর। যারা আহলে-কিতাব, তারা অবশ্যই জানে যে, এটাই ঠিক পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে। আল্লাহ বেখবর নন, সে সমস্ত কর্ম সম্পর্কে যা তারা করে। |
| Literal | We have seen/understood your face turning around in the sky, so We will turn/enable/appoint you a (prayer) direction you accept/approve it, so turn your face towards the Mosque the Forbidden/Respected/Sacred and wherever you were so turn your faces towards it, and that those who were given The Book they know (E) that it is the truth from their Lord, and that God is not with neglecting/disregarding about what they make/do . |
| Yusuf Ali | We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do. |
| Pickthal | We have seen the turning of thy face to heaven (for guidance, O Muhammad). And now verily We shall make thee turn (in prayer) toward a qiblah which is dear to thee. Katso, ne jotka Pyhän kirjan ovat saaneet, tietävät totisesti,että tämä (ilmoitus) on heidän Herraltansa, eikä Jumala ole välinpitämätön siitä, mitä he tekevät. Vaikka sinä näytätkin niille, jotka ovat Pyhän kirjan saaneet, kaikkia mahdollisia tunnusmerkkejä, eivät he suuntaudu sinun kiblasi mukaan. |
