| 1 [2:116] | Waqaloo itakhatha Allahuwaladan subhanahu bal lahu ma fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi kullun lahu qanitoona |  وقالوا اتخذ الله ولدا سبحانه بل له ما في السماوات والأرض كل له قانتونوَقَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ بَل لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ كُلٌّ لَّهُ قَانِتُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| اتخذ - "has taken| الله - Allah| ولدا - a son."| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| بل - Nay,| له - for Him| ما - (is) what| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| كل - All| له - to Him| قانتون - (are) humbly obedient.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:68] | Qaloo ittakhatha Allahuwaladan subhanahu huwa alghaniyyu lahu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi in AAindakum min sultaninbihatha ataqooloona AAala Allahi ma lataAAlamoona | قالوا اتخذ الله ولدا سبحانه هو الغني له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض إن عندكم من سلطان بهذا أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون قَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بِهَـذَا أَتقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They say,| اتخذ - "Allah has taken| الله - "Allah has taken| ولدا - a son."| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| هو - He| الغني - (is) the Self-sufficient.| له - To Him (belongs)| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth.| إن - Not| عندكم - you have| من - any| سلطان - authority| بهذا - for this.| أتقولون - Do you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?| | ||||||
| 3 [18:4] | Wayunthira allatheena qalooittakhatha Allahu waladan | وينذر الذين قالوا اتخذ الله ولدا وَيُنذِرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وينذر - And to warn| الذين - those who| قالوا - say,| اتخذ - "Allah has taken| الله - "Allah has taken| ولدا - a son."| | ||||||
| 4 [19:78] | AttalaAAa alghayba ami ittakhathaAAinda alrrahmani AAahdan | أطلع الغيب أم اتخذ عند الرحمن عهدا أَطَّلَعَ الْغَيْبَ أَمِ اتَّخَذَ عِندَ الرَّحْمَنِ عَهْدًا | |||||
| Words | |أطلع - Has he looked| الغيب - (into) the unseen,| أم - or| اتخذ - has he taken| عند - from| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| عهدا - a promise?| | ||||||
| 5 [19:87] | La yamlikoona alshshafaAAatailla mani ittakhatha AAinda alrrahmaniAAahdan | لا يملكون الشفاعة إلا من اتخذ عند الرحمن عهدا لاَ يَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلاَّ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِندَ الرَّحْمَنِ عَهْدًا | |||||
| Words | |لا - Not| يملكون - they will have the power| الشفاعة - (of) the intercession| إلا - except| من - (he) who| اتخذ - has taken| عند - from| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| عهدا - a covenant.| | ||||||
| 6 [19:88] | Waqaloo ittakhatha alrrahmanuwaladan | وقالوا اتخذ الرحمن ولدا وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَنُ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| اتخذ - "Has taken| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| ولدا - a son."| | ||||||
| 7 [21:26] | Waqaloo ittakhatha alrrahmanuwaladan subhanahu bal AAibadun mukramoona | وقالوا اتخذ الرحمن ولدا سبحانه بل عباد مكرمون وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَنُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| اتخذ - "Has taken| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| ولدا - a son."| سبحانه - Glorified is He!| بل - Nay,| عباد - (they are) slaves| مكرمون - honored.| | ||||||
| 8 [23:91] | Ma ittakhatha Allahumin waladin wama kana maAAahu min ilahin ithanlathahaba kullu ilahin bima khalaqa walaAAalabaAAduhum AAala baAAdin subhana AllahiAAamma yasifoona | ما اتخذ الله من ولد وما كان معه من إله إذا لذهب كل إله بما خلق ولعلا بعضهم على بعض سبحان الله عما يصفون مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِن وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ إِلَهٍ إِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَهٍ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| اتخذ - Allah has taken| الله - Allah has taken| من - any| ولد - son,| وما - and not| كان - is| معه - with Him| من - any| إله - god.| إذا - Then| لذهب - surely (would have) taken away| كل - each| إله - god| بما - what| خلق - he created,| ولعلا - and surely would have overpowered,| بعضهم - some of them| على - [on]| بعض - others.| سبحان - Glory be| الله - (to) Allah| عما - above what| يصفون - they attribute!| | ||||||
| 9 [25:43] | Araayta mani ittakhatha ilahahuhawahu afaanta takoonu AAalayhi wakeelan | أرأيت من اتخذ إلهه هواه أفأنت تكون عليه وكيلا أَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَهَهُ هَوَاهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |أرأيت - Have you seen| من - (one) who| اتخذ - takes| إلهه - (as) his god| هواه - his own desire?| أفأنت - Then would you| تكون - be| عليه - over him| وكيلا - a guardian?| | ||||||
| 10 [43:16] | Ami ittakhatha mimma yakhluqubanatin waasfakum bialbaneena | أم اتخذ مما يخلق بنات وأصفاكم بالبنين أَمِ اتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَاكُم بِالْبَنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| اتخذ - has He taken| مما - of what,| يخلق - He has created,| بنات - daughters| وأصفاكم - and He has chosen (for) you| بالبنين - sons.| | ||||||
| 11 [45:23] | Afaraayta mani ittakhatha ilahahuhawahu waadallahu Allahu AAalaAAilmin wakhatama AAala samAAihi waqalbihi wajaAAala AAalabasarihi ghishawatan faman yahdeehi min baAAdi Allahiafala tathakkaroona | أفرأيت من اتخذ إلهه هواه وأضله الله على علم وختم على سمعه وقلبه وجعل على بصره غشاوة فمن يهديه من بعد الله أفلا تذكرون أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَهَهُ هَوَاهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى عِلْمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلَى سَمْعِهِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَجَعَلَ عَلَى بَصَرِهِ غِشَاوَةً فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِن بَعْدِ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفرأيت - Have you seen| من - (he) who| اتخذ - takes| إلهه - (as) his god| هواه - his desire| وأضله - and Allah lets him go astray| الله - and Allah lets him go astray| على - knowingly,| علم - knowingly,| وختم - and He sets a seal| على - upon| سمعه - his hearing| وقلبه - and his heart| وجعل - and puts| على - over| بصره - his vision| غشاوة - a veil?| فمن - Then who| يهديه - will guide him| من - after| بعد - after| الله - Allah?| أفلا - Then will not| تذكرون - you receive admonition?| | ||||||
| 12 [72:3] | Waannahu taAAala jaddu rabbinama ittakhatha sahibatan wala waladan | وأنه تعالى جد ربنا ما اتخذ صاحبة ولا ولدا وَأَنَّهُ تَعَالَى جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا اتَّخَذَ صَاحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وأنه - And that He -| تعالى - Exalted is| جد - (the) Majesty| ربنا - (of) our Lord -| ما - not| اتخذ - He has taken| صاحبة - a wife| ولا - and not| ولدا - a son,| | ||||||
| 13 [73:19] | Inna hathihi tathkiratun famanshaa ittakhatha ila rabbihi sabeelan | إن هذه تذكرة فمن شاء اتخذ إلى ربه سبيلا إِنَّ هَذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| هذه - this| تذكرة - (is) a Reminder,| فمن - then whoever| شاء - wills| اتخذ - (let him) take| إلى - to| ربه - his Lord| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 14 [76:29] | Inna hathihi tathkiratun famanshaa ittakhatha ila rabbihi sabeelan | إن هذه تذكرة فمن شاء اتخذ إلى ربه سبيلا إِنَّ هَذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| هذه - this| تذكرة - (is) a reminder,| فمن - so whoever| شاء - wills,| اتخذ - let him take| إلى - to| ربه - his Lord| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 15 [78:39] | ERROR | ذلك اليوم الحق فمن شاء اتخذ إلى ربه مآبا ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ مَآبًا | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| اليوم - (is) the Day| الحق - the True.| فمن - So whoever| شاء - wills| اتخذ - let him take| إلى - towards| ربه - his Lord| مآبا - a return.| | ||||||
