| 1 [6:158] | Hal yanthuroona illaan ta/tiyahumu almala-ikatu aw ya/tiya rabbuka aw ya/tiyabaAAdu ayati rabbika yawma ya/tee baAAduayati rabbika la yanfaAAu nafsan eemanuhalam takun amanat min qablu aw kasabat fee eemanihakhayran quli intathiroo inna muntathiroona |  هل ينظرون إلا أن تأتيهم الملائكة أو يأتي ربك أو يأتي بعض آيات ربك يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا قل انتظروا إنا منتظرونهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيهُمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ لاَ يَنفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِن قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا قُلِ انتَظِرُواْ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هل - Are| ينظرون - they waiting| إلا - except| أن - that| تأتيهم - comes to them| الملائكة - the Angels| أو - or| يأتي - comes| ربك - your Lord| أو - or| يأتي - comes| بعض - some (of)| آيات - (the) Signs| ربك - (of) your Lord?| يوم - (The) Day| يأتي - (when) comes| بعض - some (of)| آيات - (the) Signs| ربك - (of) your Lord,| لا - not| ينفع - will benefit| نفسا - a soul| إيمانها - its faith,| لم - not| تكن - (if) it had| آمنت - believed| من - from| قبل - before| أو - or| كسبت - earned| في - through| إيمانها - its faith| خيرا - any good.| قل - Say,| انتظروا - "Wait.| إنا - Indeed, we| منتظرون - (are) those who wait."| | ||||||
| 2 [10:90] | Wajawazna bibanee isra-eelaalbahra faatbaAAahum firAAawnu wajunooduhu baghyanwaAAadwan hatta itha adrakahu algharaqu qalaamantu annahu la ilaha illa allatheeamanat bihi banoo isra-eela waana minaalmuslimeena | وجاوزنا ببني إسرائيل البحر فأتبعهم فرعون وجنوده بغيا وعدوا حتى إذا أدركه الغرق قال آمنت أنه لا إله إلا الذي آمنت به بنو إسرائيل وأنا من المسلمين وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُ قَالَ آمَنتُ أَنَّهُ لاَ إِلِـهَ إِلاَّ الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَنَاْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وجاوزنا - And We took across| ببني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel -| البحر - the sea,| فأتبعهم - and followed them| فرعون - Firaun| وجنوده - and his hosts| بغيا - (in) rebellion| وعدوا - and enmity,| حتى - until| إذا - when| أدركه - overtook him| الغرق - the drowning,| قال - he said,| آمنت - "I believe| أنه - that| لا - (there is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| الذي - the One,| آمنت - in Whom believe| به - in Whom believe| بنو - the Children of Israel,| إسرائيل - the Children of Israel,| وأنا - and I am| من - of| المسلمين - the Muslims."| | ||||||
| 3 [10:98] | Falawla kanat qaryatun amanatfanafaAAaha eemanuha illa qawmayoonusa lamma amanoo kashafna AAanhum AAathabaalkhizyi fee alhayati alddunyawamattaAAnahum ila heenin | فلولا كانت قرية آمنت فنفعها إيمانها إلا قوم يونس لما آمنوا كشفنا عنهم عذاب الخزي في الحياة الدنيا ومتعناهم إلى حين فَلَوْلاَ كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ آمَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَا إِيمَانُهَا إِلاَّ قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّآ آمَنُواْ كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |فلولا - So why not| كانت - was| قرية - any town| آمنت - that believed,| فنفعها - and benefited it| إيمانها - its faith,| إلا - except| قوم - the people| يونس - (of) Yunus?| لما - When| آمنوا - they believed,| كشفنا - We removed| عنهم - from them| عذاب - (the) punishment| الخزي - (of) the disgrace| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - of the world| ومتعناهم - and We granted them enjoyment| إلى - for| حين - a time.| | ||||||
| 4 [21:6] | Ma amanat qablahum min qaryatinahlaknaha afahum yu/minoona | ما آمنت قبلهم من قرية أهلكناها أفهم يؤمنون مَا آمَنَتْ قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا أَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| آمنت - believed| قبلهم - before them| من - any| قرية - town| أهلكناها - which We destroyed,| أفهم - so will they| يؤمنون - believe?| | ||||||
| 5 [36:25] | Innee amantu birabbikum faismaAAooni | إني آمنت بربكم فاسمعون إِنِّي آمَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُونِ | |||||
| Words | |إني - Indeed, I| آمنت - [I] have believed| بربكم - in your Lord,| فاسمعون - so listen to me."| | ||||||
| 6 [42:15] | Falithalika faodAAu waistaqimkama omirta wala tattabiAA ahwaahum waqul amantubima anzala Allahu min kitabin waomirtuli-aAAdila baynakum Allahu rabbuna warabbukum lanaaAAmaluna walakum aAAmalukum la hujjatabaynana wabaynakumu Allahu yajmaAAu baynanawa-ilayhi almaseeru | فلذلك فادع واستقم كما أمرت ولا تتبع أهواءهم وقل آمنت بما أنزل الله من كتاب وأمرت لأعدل بينكم الله ربنا وربكم لنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم لا حجة بيننا وبينكم الله يجمع بيننا وإليه المصير فَلِذَلِكَ فَادْعُ وَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَقُلْ آمَنتُ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِن كِتَابٍ وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَعْدِلَ بَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |فلذلك - So to that| فادع - then invite,| واستقم - and stand firm| كما - as| أمرت - you are commanded| ولا - and (do) not| تتبع - follow| أهواءهم - their desires,| وقل - but say,| آمنت - "I believe| بما - in what| أنزل - Allah has sent down| الله - Allah has sent down| من - of| كتاب - (the) Book,| وأمرت - and I am commanded| لأعدل - that I do justice| بينكم - between you.| الله - Allah| ربنا - (is) our Lord| وربكم - and your Lord.| لنا - For us| أعمالنا - our deeds| ولكم - and for you| أعمالكم - your deeds.| لا - (There is) no| حجة - argument| بيننا - between us| وبينكم - and between you.| الله - Allah| يجمع - will assemble| بيننا - [between] us,| وإليه - and to Him| المصير - (is) the final return."| | ||||||
