| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[87:5] | FajaAAalahu ghuthaan ahwa
|  فجعله غثاء أحوى
فَجَعَلَهُ غُثَاءً أَحْوَى |
| Words | |فجعله - And then makes it| غثاء - stubble,| أحوى - dark.| |

| (ከዚያ) ደረቅ ጥቁር ያደረገውንም (አምላክ ስም አሞግስ)፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فجعله } بعد الخضرة { غُثاء } جافا هشيما { أحوى } أسود يابسا. |
| sinna, Ippara p d asa$uô aberkan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর করেছেন তাকে কাল আবর্জনা। |
| Literal | So He made/created it rotten/spoiled (thin and dry) green/red with blackness. |
| Yusuf Ali | And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. |
| Pickthal | Then turneth it to russet stubble. |
| Arberry | then made it a blackening wrack. |
| Shakir | Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. |
