| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[8:58] | Wa-imma takhafanna min qawminkhiyanatan fainbith ilayhim AAalasawa-in inna Allaha la yuhibbu alkha-ineena
|  وإما تخافن من قوم خيانة فانبذ إليهم على سواء إن الله لا يحب الخائنين
وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِن قَوْمٍ خِيَانَةً فَانبِذْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَلَى سَوَاءٍ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْخَائِنِينَ |
| Words | |وإما - And if| تخافن - you fear| من - from| قوم - a people| خيانة - betrayal| فانبذ - throw back| إليهم - to them| على - on| سواء - equal (terms).| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| الخائنين - the traitors.| |

| ከሕዝቦችም ክዳትን ብትፈራ (የኪዳኑን መፍረስ በማወቅ) በመተካከል ላይ ኾናችሁ ኪዳናቸውን ወደነሱ ጣልላቸው፡፡ አላህ ከዳተኞችን አይወድምና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإما تخافن من قوم } عاهدوك { خيانة } في عهد بأمارةٍ تلوح لك { فانبذ } اطرح عهدهم { إليهم على سواء } حال أي مستويا أنت وهم في العلم بنقض العهد بأن تعلمهم به لئلا يتهموك بالغدر { إن الله لا يحب الخائنين } . |
| Ma tugadev lexdaâ seg ugdud, err iten akin, s tezdeg. Öebbi, s tidep, ur Iêemmel ara ixeddaâen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তবে কোন সম্প্রদায়ের ধোঁকা দেয়ার ব্যাপারে যদি তোমাদের ভয় থাকে, তবে তাদের চুক্তি তাদের দিকেই ছুঁড়ে ফেলে দাও এমনভাবে যেন হয়ে যাও তোমরাও তারা সমান। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ধোকাবাজ, প্রতারককে পছন্দ করেন না। |
| Literal | And if you fear from a nation betrayal/unfaithfulness, so discard/reject to them on straightness , that God does not love/like the betrayers/unfaithfuls. |
| Yusuf Ali | If thou fearest treachery from any group, throw back (their covenant) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms: for Allah loveth not the treacherous. |
| Pickthal | And if thou fearest treachery from any folk, then throw back to them (their treaty) fairly. Lo! Allah loveth not the treacherous. |
| Arberry | And if thou fearest treachery any way at the hands of a people, dissolve it with them equally; surely God loves not the treacherous. |
