| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[8:59] | Wala yahsabanna allatheenakafaroo sabaqoo innahum la yuAAjizoona
|  ولا يحسبن الذين كفروا سبقوا إنهم لا يعجزون
وَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَبَقُواْ إِنَّهُمْ لاَ يُعْجِزُونَ |
| Words | |ولا - And (let) not| يحسبن - think| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| سبقوا - they can outstrip.| إنهم - Indeed, they| لا - (can) not| يعجزون - escape.| |

| እነዚያም የካዱት ከአላህ ቅጣት ያመለጡ መኾናቸውን አያስቡ፡፡ እነሱ አያቅቱምና፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | ونزل فيمن أفلت يوم بدر { ولا تحسبنَّ } يا محمد { الذين كفروا سبقوا } الله أي فأتوه { إنهم لا يعجزون } لا يفوتونه وفي قراءة بالتحتانية فالمفعول الأول محذوف أي أنفسهم وفي أخرى بفتح إن على تقدير اللام . |
| Ur p$ilin menâan, wid ijehlen. Nitni, s tidep, ur zmiren. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর কাফেররা যেন একা যা মনে না করে যে, তারা বেঁচে গেছে; কখনও এরা আমাকে পরিশ্রান্ত করতে পারবে না। |
| Literal | And those who disbelieved do not think/suppose (that) they raced/went ahead/won, that they truly do not disable/frustrate. |
| Yusuf Ali | Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly): they will never frustrate (them). |
| Pickthal | And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. |
| Arberry | And thou art not to suppose that they who disbelieve have outstripped Me; they cannot frustrate My will. |
