| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[8:57] | Fa-imma tathqafannahum fee alharbifasharrid bihim man khalfahum laAAallahum yaththakkaroona
|  فإما تثقفنهم في الحرب فشرد بهم من خلفهم لعلهم يذكرون
فَإِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِم مَّنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ |
| Words | |فإما - So if| تثقفنهم - you gain dominance over them| في - in| الحرب - the war,| فشرد - disperse| بهم - by them| من - (those) who| خلفهم - (are) behind them,| لعلهم - so that they may| يذكرون - take heed.| |

| በጦርም ላይ ብታገኛቸው በእነርሱ ቅጣት ምክንያት (ሌሎቹ ከሓዲዎች) ይገሰጹ ዘንድ ከኋላቸው ያሉትን በትንባቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فإما } فيه إدغام نون إن الشرطية في ما المزيدة { تثقفنَّهم } تجدنهم { في الحرب فشرِّد } فرق { بهم من خلفهم } من المحاربين بالتنكيل بهم والعقوبة { لعلَّهم } أي الذين خلفهم { يذَّكرون } يتعظون بهم . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সুতরাং যদি কখনো তুমি তাদেরকে যুদ্ধে পেয়ে যাও, তবে তাদের এমন শাস্তি দাও, যেন তাদের উত্তরসূরিরা তাই দেখে পালিয়ে যায়; তাদেরও যেন শিক্ষা হয়। |
