| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[72:17] | Linaftinahum feehi waman yuAArid AAanthikri rabbihi yasluk-hu AAathaban saAAadan
|  لنفتنهم فيه ومن يعرض عن ذكر ربه يسلكه عذابا صعدا
لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا |
| Words | |لنفتنهم - That We might test them| فيه - therein.| ومن - And whoever| يعرض - turns away| عن - from| ذكر - the Remembrance| ربه - (of) his Lord,| يسلكه - He will make him enter| عذابا - a punishment| صعدا - severe.| |

| በእርሱ ልንሞክራቸው (ባጠጣናቸው ነበር)፡፡ ከጌታውም ማስታወሻ የሚያፈገፍግ ሰው አስቸጋሪን ቅጣት ያገባዋል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { لنفتنهم } لنختبرهم { فيه } فنعلم كيف شكرهم علم ظهور { ومن يعرض عن ذكر ربه } القرآن { نسلكه } بالنون والياء ندخله { عذابا صعدا } شاقا. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যাতে এ ব্যাপারে তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করি। পক্ষান্তরে যে ব্যক্তি তার পালনকর্তার স্মরণ থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তিনি তাকে উদীয়মান আযাবে পরিচালিত করবেন। |
