| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:72] | Faanjaynahu waallatheenamaAAahu birahmatin minna waqataAAna dabiraallatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawama kanoo mu/mineena
|  فأنجيناه والذين معه برحمة منا وقطعنا دابر الذين كذبوا بآياتنا وما كانوا مؤمنين
فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَمَا كَانُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Words | |فأنجيناه - So We saved him| والذين - and those| معه - with him| برحمة - by Mercy| منا - from Us.| وقطعنا - And We cut off| دابر - the roots| الذين - (of) those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs,| وما - and not| كانوا - they were| مؤمنين - believers.| |

| እርሱንና እነዚያንም አብረውት የነበሩትን ከእኛ በኾነው ችሮታ (ከቅጣት) አዳንናቸው፡፡ የእነዚያንም በተአምራታችን ያስተባበሉትንና አማኞች ያልነበሩትን መሠረት ቆረጥን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فأنجيناه } أي هودا { والذين معه } من المؤمنين { برحمة منا وقطعنا دابر } القوم { الذين كذبوا بآياتنا } أي استأصلناكم { وما كانوا مؤمنين } عطف على كذبوا . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অনন্তর আমি তাকে ও তার সঙ্গীদেরকে স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে রক্ষা করলাম এবং যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহে মিথ্যারোপ করত তাদের মূল কেটে দিলাম। তারা মান্যকারী ছিল না। |
| Literal | So We saved/rescued him and those with him with a mercy from Us, and We cut off/severed (the) root/remainder (of) those who disbelieved with Our verses/evidences , and they were not believers/believing. |
| Yusuf Ali | We saved him and those who adhered to him. By Our mercy, and We cut off the roots of those who rejected Our signs and did not believe. |
