[7:73] | Wa-ila thamooda akhahum salihanqala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu qad jaatkum bayyinatunmin rabbikum hathihi naqatu Allahi lakum ayatanfatharooha ta/kul fee ardi Allahi walatamassooha bisoo-in faya/khuthakum AAathabunaleemun
|  وإلى ثمود أخاهم صالحا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره قد جاءتكم بينة من ربكم هذه ناقة الله لكم آية فذروها تأكل في أرض الله ولا تمسوها بسوء فيأخذكم عذاب أليم
وَإِلَى ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ هَـذِهِ نَاقَةُ اللّهِ لَكُمْ آيَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِي أَرْضِ اللّهِ وَلاَ تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |
| Words | |وإلى - And to| ثمود - Thamud| أخاهم - (We sent) their brother| صالحا - Salih.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| قد - Verily| جاءتكم - has come to you| بينة - a clear proof| من - from| ربكم - your Lord,| هذه - This| ناقة - (is) a she-camel| الله - (of) Allah| لكم - (it is) for you| آية - a Sign.| فذروها - So you leave her| تأكل - (to) eat| في - on| أرض - (the) earth| الله - (of) Allah,| ولا - and (do) not| تمسوها - touch her| بسوء - with harm,| فيأخذكم - lest seizes you| عذاب - a punishment| أليم - painful."| |

| ወደ ሰሙድም ወንድማቸውን ሷሊህን ላክን፡፡ አላቸው «ወገኖቼ ሆይ! አላህን ተገዙ፡፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ ለእናንተ ምንም አምላክ የላችሁም፡፡ (እውነተኛ ለመኾኔ) ከጌታችሁ የኾነች ምልክት በእርግጥ መጥታላችኋለች፡፡ ይህች ለእናንተ ተዓምር ስትኾን የአላህ ግመል ናትና ተዋት፡፡ በአላህ ምድር ውስጥ ትብላ፤ (ትጠጣም)፡፡ በክፉ አትንኳትም፡፡ አሳማሚ ቅጣት ይይዛችኋልና፡፡» |
| آل الجلالين | { و } أرسلنا { إلى ثمود } بترك الصرف مرادا به القبيلة { أخاهم صالحا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره قد جاءتكم بيَّنة } معجزة { من ربكم } على صدقي { هذه ناقة الله لكم آية } حال عاملها معنى الإشارة وكانوا سألوه أن يخرجها لهم صخرة عينوها { فذروها تأكل في أرض الله ولا تمسوها بسوء } بعقر أو ضرب { فيأخذكم عذاب أليم } . |
| £uô Tamud, gmat sen Üaliê. Inna: "a yagdud iw! Âabdet Öebbi! Ur tesâim ôebbi war Neppa. Ni$ iusa kwen id ubeggen s$uô Mass nnwen. Tal$wemt agi n Öebbi, d assekni i kunwi. Ooet ep a ppeçç di tmurt n Öebbi. Ur p îîuôôut, mulac a kwen iêaz uâaqeb aqeôêan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সামুদ সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছি তাদের ভাই সালেহকে। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতিত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই। তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে একটি প্রমাণ এসে গেছে। এটি আল্লাহর উষ্টী তোমাদের জন্যে প্রমাণ। অতএব একে ছেড়ে দাও, আল্লাহর ভুমিতে চড়ে বেড়াবে। একে অসৎভাবে স্পর্শ করবে না। অন্যথায় তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি পাকড়াও করবে। |
| Literal | And to Thamud/a pre-Islamic Arab tribe that could have been in Hegaz, (We sent) their brother Saleh, he said: "My nation, worship God, (there) is no God for you from other than Him, an evidence had come to you from your Lord, this (is) God's female camel for you (as) a sign/evidence , so leave it eat in God's ground/earth/land, and do not touch it with evil/harm , so (then a) painful torture takes/punishes you." |
| Yusuf Ali | To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: "O my people! worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah's earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment. |

| Arberry | And to Thamood their brother Salih; he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other than He; there has now come to you a clear sign from your Lord -- this is the She-camel of God, to be a sign for you. Leave her that she may eat in God's earth, and do not touch her with evil, lest you be seized by a painful chastisement. |

Sabnar a adn a miyakaoma rkano a karina a phoon ko Kadnan niyo, katii so onta o Allah a nanao niyo: Na botawani niyo skaniyan ko kapphangangan iyan ko lopa o Allah, go di niyo ron thmoon so marata, ka masogat kano o siksa a malipds." |

| Shabbir Ahmed | اور (بھیجا ہم نے) ثمود کی طرف اُن کے بھائی صالح کو کہا اے میری قوم! بندگی کرو اللہ کی، نہیں ہے تمہارا کوئی معبود اُس کے سوا۔ بے شک آگئی ہے تمہارے پاس کُھلی دلیل تمہارے رب کی طرف سے۔ یہ ہے اُونٹنی اللہ کی، تمہارے لیے ایک معجزہ، سو اسے کُھلا چھوڑ دو تاکہ چرتی پھرے زمین میں اللہ کی اور نہ ہاتھ لگاؤ اُسے تم، بُرے ارادے سے ورنہ آلے گا تمہیں ایک درد ناک عذاب۔ |
| Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | اور قوم ثمود کی طرف ان کے بھائی صالح کو بھیجا۔ (تو) صالح نے کہا کہ اے قوم! خدا ہی کی عبادت کرو اس کے سوا تمہارا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ تمہارے پاس تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے ایک معجزہ آ چکا ہے۔ (یعنی) یہی خدا کی اونٹنی تمہارے لیے معجزہ ہے۔ تو اسے (آزاد) چھوڑ دو کہ خدا کی زمین میں چرتی پھرے اور تم اسے بری نیت سے ہاتھ بھی نہ لگانا۔ ورنہ عذابِ الیم میں تمہیں پکڑ لے گا |
