| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:117] | Waawhayna ila moosaan alqi AAasaka fa-itha hiya talqafu maya/fikoona
|  وأوحينا إلى موسى أن ألق عصاك فإذا هي تلقف ما يأفكون
وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ |
| Words | |وأوحينا - And We inspired| إلى - to| موسى - Musa| أن - that,| ألق - "Throw| عصاك - your staff,"| فإذا - and suddenly| هي - it| تلقف - swallow(ed)| ما - what| يأفكون - they (were) falsifying.| |

| ወደ ሙሳም፡- «በትርህን ጣል» ስንል ላክን፡፡ (ጣላትም) ወዲያውኑም የሚቀጣጥፉትን (ማታለያ) ትውጣለች፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وأوحينا إلى موسى أن ألق عصاك فإذا هي تلقف } بحذف إحدى التاءين في الأصل تبتلع { ما يأفكون } يقلبون بتمويههم . |
| Nweêêa i Musa: "veggeô taâkwazt ik"! Apan tesseblaâ ayen d ûenâan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারপর আমি ওহীযোগে মূসাকে বললাম, এবার নিক্ষেপ কর তোমার লাঠিখানা। অতএব সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তা সে সমুদয়কে গিলতে লাগল, যা তারা বানিয়েছিল যাদু বলে। |
| Literal | And We inspired/transmitted/signaled to Moses, that throw/throw away your stick/cane, so then it snatches/swallows quickly what they lie/falsify. |
| Yusuf Ali | We put it into Moses's mind by inspiration: "Throw (now) thy rod":and behold! it swallows up straight away all the falsehoods which they fake! |
