| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:116] | Qala alqoo falamma alqaw saharooaAAyuna alnnasi waistarhaboohum wajaoobisihrin AAatheemin
|  قال ألقوا فلما ألقوا سحروا أعين الناس واسترهبوهم وجاءوا بسحر عظيم
قَالَ أَلْقُوْاْ فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْاْ سَحَرُواْ أَعْيُنَ النَّاسِ وَاسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ وَجَاءُوا بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيمٍ |
| Words | |قال - He said,| ألقوا - "Throw."| فلما - Then when| ألقوا - they threw,| سحروا - they bewitched| أعين - (the) eyes| الناس - (of) the people,| واسترهبوهم - and terrified them| وجاءوا - and came (up)| بسحر - with a magic| عظيم - great.| |

| آل الجلالين | { قال ألقوا } أمر للإذن بتقديم إلقائهم توصلا به إلى إظهار الحق { فلما ألقوا } حبالهم وعصيهم { سحروا أعين الناس } صرفوها عن حقيقة إدراكها { واسترهبوهم } خوفوهم حيث خيلوها حيات تسعى { وجاءوا بسحر عظيم } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তিনি বললেন, তোমরাই নিক্ষেপ কর। যখন তারা নিক্ষেপ করল তখন লোকদের চোখগুলোকে বাধিয়ে দিল, ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত করে তুলল এবং মহাযাদু প্রদর্শন করল। |
| Literal | He said: "Throw/throw away." So when they threw/threw away, they bewitched/enchanted the people's eyes/sights and they terrorized/terrified them, and they came with great magic/sorcery.
