1 [6:76] | Falamma janna AAalayhi allaylu raakawkaban qala hatha rabbee falamma afala qalala ohibbu al-afileena
| فلما جن عليه الليل رأى كوكبا قال هذا ربي فلما أفل قال لا أحب الآفلين فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ اللَّيْلُ رَأَى كَوْكَبًا قَالَ هَـذَا رَبِّي فَلَمَّا أَفَلَ قَالَ لاَ أُحِبُّ الْآفِلِينَ |
Words | |فلما - So when| جن - covered| عليه - over him| الليل - the night,| رأى - he saw| كوكبا - a star.| قال - He said,| هذا - "This| ربي - (is) my Lord."| فلما - But when| أفل - it set,| قال - he said| لا - "Not| أحب - (do) I like| الآفلين - the ones that set."| |

| ሌሊቱም በእርሱ ላይ ባጨለመ ጊዜ ኮከብን አየ፡፡ «ይህ ጌታዬ ነው» አለ፡፡ በጠለቀም ጊዜ፡- «ጠላቂዎችን አልወድም» አለ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { فلما جن } أظلم { عليه الليل رأى كوكبا } قيل هو الزهرة { قال } لقومه وكانوا نجامين { هذا ربي } في زعمكم { فما أفل } غاب { قال لا أحب الآفلين } أن أتخذهم أربابا لأن الرب لا يجوز عليه التغير والانتقال لأنهما من شأن الحوادث فلم ينجع فيهم ذلك . |
| Mi t i$umm yiv, iwala itri, inna: "wagi d Mass iw". Mi ixsi, inna: "ur êemle$ ara wid ixessin". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অনন্তর যখন রজনীর অন্ধকার তার উপর সমাচ্ছন্ন হল, তখন সে একটি তারকা দেখতে পেল, বললঃ ইহা আমার প্রতিপালক। অতঃপর যখন তা অস্তমিত হল তখন বললঃ আমি অস্তগামীদেরকে ভালবাসি না। |
Literal | So when the night darkened on him, he saw a star/planet, he said: "That (is) my lord." So when it set/darkened, he said: "I do not like the setting/disappearing." |
Yusuf Ali | When the night covered him over, He saw a star: He said: "This is my Lord." But when it set, He said: "I love not those that set." |
